The number of blowout losses under McBean is astounding
FLbills replied to saundena's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was actually going to write pretty much what you did. I agree with your assessment of the personnel decisions. It is their doing that they have very little talent on offense. Character over talent, be a coach and take control of egos and coach your team. Nice post IMO. -
Is your Dad the reason you’re a Bills fan?
FLbills replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It was for me also, but my reason is a little backwards. My pops is from Western PA, so naturally he is a Steelers fan. I remember when I was about 7 or 8 (1984-85) and my dad was watching a game between the Bills and Steelers. I was trash talking to him and the Bills ended up winning. That was the first professional sports team that I can remember rooting for and I've been a loyal Bills fan ever since. I've never been to the state of New York much less Buffalo, although I can't wait until the opportunity presents itself. So, yes, I am a Bills fan because of my Dad. -
Incognito's Retirement? [update: Now Released]
FLbills replied to Spiderweb's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Imo, even if a person hints at retirement, some still possess a good work ethic and will put in the work and sometimes even excel, go out with a so called bang. I'm not saying that everyone has it but he strikes me as someone who does. Again, just my .02 -
Closest NFL comparison to Mason Rudolph... Tom Brady
FLbills replied to Troll Toll's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Two bullets, one being a strength and one being a weakness Strengths Good NFL arm strength and is able to get enough zip on it when it needs to go in a tight window. Weaknesses Inexplicably off target sometimes with balls being thrown behind his receiver. On throws that really need to be zipped in, he may struggle unless his velocity can improve with a more efficient throwing motion. Seems a bit contradictory. Not sure if he has the "zip" that's necessary based on this assessment -
Who is your favorite free agent signing so far?
FLbills replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Are you saying that you think he can't get any better and has reached his full potential? I'm guessing that you meant that it's not unreasonable to think that he can get better. Only asking because it seems a little contradictory otherwise. -
Dude, my Viagra got stuck in my throat and I can't look down.

Not that I'm adding to the OP's point, but it provokes thought and discussion, which is why the majority of people who come to the site are here. That is what it accomplishes. I don't post very often but I am an avid reader of the site and enjoy the many different views offered from everyone. Just my opinion and .02

Gameday Thread Bills vs Bucs 2nd Half
FLbills replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not very thought provoking... But I am so tired of ineptitude from this team it just blows me away. I guess maybe it's just being in the middle of the pack for 17 years that has me feeling this way. I try to remain optimistic week in and week out, but how much can 1 person take??? It's almost maddening.. -
Anthony Miller Memphis WR is a beast!
FLbills replied to buffaloboyinATL's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Enjoyed watching the game. I liked watching Memphis pull off the upset as the underdog. Miller was excellent today with sure hands and good yac. Congrats to them for stepping up big time in the national spotlight. -
A place for those directly in Irma's path
FLbills replied to HardyBoy's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I'm in New Smyrna Beach, going to hunker down and ride this thing out. Thoughts and prayers for anyone who is in or has family in the state of Florida. This storm is nothing to take lightly, it is going to pack a punch for sure. Good luck and stay safe to all. Lots of traffic hold-ups on the interstates heading north so please exercise caution and common sense. -
I see nothing wrong with what the OP posted. Dude was just trying to keep people informed. He posted a few minutes later that he was back out jogging, albeit gingerly, but posted none the less. What was the problem, seems as though it was pretty accurate. Initially stated that it was his foot/ankle and after all was said and done, that was the case.

Depends on the strain... "Indica strains are known for being physically sedating, perfect for relaxing. Sativas typically provide more invigorating, uplifting cerebral effects that pair well with physical activity" www.leafly.com/news/cannabis-101/sativa-indica-and-hybrid-whats-the-difference-between-cannabis-ty Hope I'm allowed to post this. If not my apologies.

PFF: The Unstoppable Run Schemes of the Buffalo Bills
FLbills replied to Big C's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The run game is starting to resemble the run game of the Broncos a few years back, in the aspect that no matter who they put back there, they were putting up some pretty good numbers for the season. We'll see if that trend continues this year and I hope it does. If that's the case it eliminates the depth issue for the RB position. All jmo of course. -
Who else is all in on this new way of doing things?
FLbills replied to KellyToughII's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No need to wait for the games to judge what they have done up to this point, with the exception of players performances. I agree that the direction appears to be headed in a different one than years passed and finally feels like there is some structure behind it. The last 15 years have appeared to be so aimlessly directed, IMO. Now it seems as though everyone is on the same page from top to bottom and it doesn't feel like lip service when I hear it this time around. To have that optimism, for me personally, is coming from the moves that the Buffalo Bills have made as an organization during the offseason. To this point, McD and Beans have done an excellent job at bringing in new members, several which were lateral, to assemble a respected staff. I think to judge them to this point is fair, just not to judge them about aspects that can't be determined until the players play the game. So far though, I am very pleased with the results and would like to think that they will continue when the season begins. This all just my opinion of course. -
[closed]Bills: off-season winners again...
FLbills replied to HerdMenatlity1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
3 weeks ago the Bills were considered to be dysfunctional pretty much across the board. Now they're earning praise for the off-season. Given the fact that it's a top to bottom new staff, I think that the praise and recognition they're getting is saying something. I know that the only results that matter is the W-L record. It feels like they're heading in the right direction and for me it gives somethingto be optimistic about. -
Most Exciting Last Minute of a Bills game ever?

Did anyone catch the first penalty call (41 second mark) ref said "illegal face to the hands"... Pretty funny -

Addressing WR2 and WR3 this Offseason
FLbills replied to Hyphe23's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The wheels would probably fall off. -
Not saying that Bradley won't follow Lynn, but has there been any more media response? Just seems like a bigger deal would be made, rather than one tweet.

I know it isn't kickoff yet, but here in Daytona Beach area they sure are showing a lot of N.E. & N.Y.J. coverage. Hopefully they will switch to what the map is showing. I normally work every Sunday and don't get a chance to watch the Bills. Today is my chance.
