  1. Maybe, but then again, maybe not. Lets not forget that the Bills lost on the final play against the Dolphins in the previous year in the playoffs. Flutie committed several turnovers in that game himself, including a fumble on the final play.
  2. That's not really a fair comparison. Losman is only in his third year, Plummer his 10th. For those that think JP is bad, at the same stage of his career, Jake Plummer was absolutely awful. The numbers pretty much tell the story: 1st year: 53.0%, 7.4ypa, 15 TD, 15 INT 2nd year: 59.2%, 6.8ypa, 17 TD, 20 INT 3rd year: 52.8%, 5.5ypa, 9 TD, 24 INT 4th year: 56.8%, 6.2ypa, 13 TD, 21 INT That's about as bad as it gets statistically. The worst was clearly his third season, when he nearly threw three times as many INTs as TDs. Losman hasn't even approached that level of futility.
  3. Lets assume he was facing the other way. If a reciever gets one foot down in bounds, and then his other heel lands inbounds before his toes land on the chalk, is that considered a catch? No. Its the same situation, it happens all the time, and its any easy, correct call by the official in both instances.
  4. Its not the no-huddle, its the multiple WR sets. Price, Reed and Parrish may not be able to consistently beat a #2 CB, they can beat most teams' #3 or #4. That's why Reed gets so many passes in his direction. Its just a matchup problem and one that the Bills need to take advantage of more often.
  5. Not really, considering that they simply reversed roles this week.
  6. That's definitely a tackle for the highlight reel. Nice hit Clements.
  7. Nothing?
  8. Why in the hell did Peerless Price quit running back to the ball???
  9. During the broadcast, one of the replays was from behind the QB, and its very apparent that Penningon backed into Losman as he was stepping into the throw. You can see that the hit caused Losman to shift to the right and as a result, the pass left his hand almost end over end.
  10. I doubt its the right call. If a ballcarrier fumbles the ball forward without being touched, is that now an illegal forward pass? Terrible call, IMO. One of the very worst I've ever seen.
  11. They did review it, but none of the camera angles were definitive. The ref was standing almost right in front of it when it happened, so I can only guess that yes, he was in bounds.
  12. You can add a #2 WR and a starting TE to the list as well.
  13. Its also been four games since the Bills shuffled their OL. Coincidence? Nope. They're finally getting some quality OL play and its allowing them to take advantage of their skill position talent.
  14. Two straight game-winning drives. Not bad at all. And Roscoe Parrish certainly earned his paycheck today.
  15. Good!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bills WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
  16. Will be a 41 yard FG attempt.
  17. Yes, it is being reviewed. Ball around the Jax 25.
  18. Fletcher.
  19. How about the entire DL?
  20. Consider the source...
  21. Once again, the Bills OL proves it is the weakest aspect of the offense. And people wonder why they call so many passes on third and short.
  22. Give it a month or two. Romo is a new QB that most teams have very little information on. If he plays well once defenses have had time to adjust to him, he might just be a good QB. He could also end up looking just as bad, if not worse than Bledsoe.
  23. The Bills are getting back exactly what they've put into the OL, which is next to nothing. You can't sign other teams rejects and retreads and expect to be any good. The Bills have repeatedly proven this to be true over the years, consistently fielding some of the worst OLs in the league since the mid 1990s. To make the point all too clear, all one has to do is take a quick look at the Bills' draft history since 1990. They've drafted only 7 OL on the first day of the draft in the last 16 years. Lets see, that's 7 picks for 5 starting positions in almost two decades. That's a pathetic effort, especially in light of the fact that the Bills OL was falling apart as early as 1994. The only free agents of any consequence that they've bothered with have been Chris Villarial and Joe Panos. Villarial has been a serviceable starter when he's actually healthy. Panos was a flop. By contrast, the Bills have drafted 13 DBs in the first three rounds in the same time period. That's enough to have turned the entire starting defensive backfield over 3 times, compared to just once on the OL. Of course, I must also mention that 7 of those 13 picks were taken in the first round. Poor effort equals poor results. The Bills are getting exactly what they've paid for over the years. They've tried to build an OL on the cheap and it hasn't worked and probably never will.
  24. I know. Then again, I never mentioned Leinart, so apparently he has some fixation about that player.
