  1. ...it would be as a result of a very bad case of global warming.
  2. OK. Bob Evans is the best one of all. They seem to be at every single freeway interchange in the State of Ohio.
  3. Did you notice that Ryan has not been around recently? He is supposed to come back sometime in March with a "physical change", according to B.J. Novak, the actor who plays Ryan (and the writer of a number of Office episodes). Remember, he mentioned to Kelly that he was going to Thailand with some friends. My guess is as follows: Physical change + Thailand = SRS. In other words, I think it means that Ryan's getting a sex change operation. :w00t:
  4. Coors Light. What's that old line about Coors and making love in a canoe?
  5. and not Sarah Palin? She's the guvnor, after all.
  6. Good place...far better than Denny's. There's one near my office.
  7. It was terrific. Best opening sequence in the five years The Office has been on the air. I tape every episode of The Office for Kim because she works on Thursday nights. She didn't see this one until yesterday morning, but Kim absolutely loved it.
  8. I'll go with Hank. The fact that he's as dumb as a brick, plus his antics always crack me up. Thanks for starting a Corner Gas post!
  9. Call your local prosecutor/district attorney's office and find out the conditions of his bail. He should be going to trial before long, I would think.
  10. A Yellowstone mega-eruption is the one thing that could happen that truly scares me. And there wouldn't be a damn thing we could do about it.
  11. That's true, but the closest Waffle House to me is 30 miles away. Denny's is right down the street. And the answer is no, I did not eat at Denny's today. I drove past my local one...the line was out the door. At 6:45 this morning. My wife Kim will be disappointed to hear that...she thinks I'm the King of Free Food, between Chick-Fil-A and Buffalo Wild Wings food-for-a-year giveaways.
  12. Katy Perry is 24. She's actually older than I thought she was. I don't really see any resemblance between Katy and Pat Benatar. Pat Benatar usually sounded like she was going to rip your b@!!$ off, especially early in her career. I just don't see that with Katy...she doesn't sound nearly as angry.
  13. Not a Loverboy fan, but Bryan Adams and Gordon Lightfoot are two of my favorites.
  14. Link to article on MSN. My understanding is that this is a standard Grand Slam; extras are available for 99 cents each and it does not include a drink. That has to be purchased separately. Expect a madhouse if you go, however. Denny's expects a total of 2 million people to show up at their 1,560 restaurants nationwide.
  15. They just can't bring themselves to look... ...away.
  16. Canadian babes are nice (Pamela Anderson, before she was siliconed to death, started out as a "Molson girl" for the B.C. Lions), but come on, this is USC we're talking about. Where else but USC can you see ? (CAUTION: May be NSFW)
  17. You have picked up on my love for Canada, Mr. Locke. My wife said the same thing to a Canadian patient of hers; that she thinks her husband is a closet Canadian. I have written about my preference for Canadian beer many times on this board. Supposedly, Canada has the cleanest water for brewing purposes on Earth. I was introduced to Moosehead by a friend of mine that I share office space with. I also have some Labatt Blue in my office fridge. I also like the CFL, hockey, curling, Tim Hortons (which we don't have in the Cleveland area), and old episodes of SCTV. I may not be Canadian, but I can respect the culture.
  18. ((rim shot)) You gonna be here all week?
  19. My favorite one ever is from Major League. When Roger Dorn goes to the mound in the playoff game, supposedly to confront Wild Thing about sleeping with his wife, Dorn says to the pitcher, "strike this m-----f----- out." In the edited version, he says "strike this guy out". What's funny is it sounds like three different people dubbed it. Dorn on the words "strike" and "out", another person on "this" and still another on "guy". Cracks me up every time I see it.
  20. Scroll down for the nice pic of Alyssa Milano!
  21. I really like Moosehead. Two thumbs up for the brew from New Brunswick. So that would be my favorite beer. What say you about Moosehead?
  22. I have to say the Packers top the list. Green Bay has sold out every game for almost 50 years. The fans show up at Lambeau, regardless of whether the Pack is 4-12 or 12-4. Bills are either second or third. An argument can be made putting Cleveland second, since they've sold out every game for the last ten years and sucked through most of that time. KC and Peeburgh round out the top 5. But, I'm old enough to remember when the Chiefs couldn't draw flies. Their streak of success and sold-out games really started with Marty Schottenheimer in 1989.
  23. I've said it before and I'll say it again: Once again, the Onion has shown us the way. Thanks for posting this. I could always use a good laugh.
  24. University of Southern California. It's not even close.
