  1. LMAO... As Dick Enberg might say, "Oh, my". Mike
  2. Mark, we're in total agreement here. Another good drama is "Without a Trace", which just keeps getting better. Mike
  3. You're right, Canadian women are usually hotties. I have no idea why that is. Must be the beer. Mike
  4. I believe you mentioned this earlier. You said something about the dog (why is there a golden retriever on a desert island) being an alien tracker, if I remember correctly. Mike
  5. Great. Now you wanna start a war with all of the Canadians on this board. They do contribute. Hockey, Don Cherry, Mike Myers, and of course, the world's best beer. Mike
  6. Excellent point. Consult me to talk about dealing with a lost franchise. Mike
  7. Stray bullet strikes Tribe pitcher What the story didn't tell you is this: The Indians' veterans, on one of the final road trips of the season, engage in a bit of hazing for the rookies. Pitcher Kyle Denney, who was the player shot, was one chosen for a bit of the fun. Last night, he was wearing a cheerleader outfit with a blond wig, and high boots. He would have to travel on the team bus and flight in this getup. Since the bullet hit Denney in the right leg, the boots may very well have deflected the bullet enough to save Denney from more serious injury. I just would like to know what the reaction was in the ER when Denney came in. Mike
  8. JP Losman saw "Mr. 3000" at the multiplex in Hamburg this afternoon. When asked his review of the film, JP said it was "stevestojan". Mike
  9. 1) It's supposed to run a whole season of at least 16 episodes. 2) Yes, it is...but it can be gruesome (SPOILER ALERT: the closing shot of the pilot's bloody body in the tree haunted me all week). 3) What about the bald guy who was in the cult horror classic "The Stepfather"? He's not handsome by any means. 4) I just wanna slap Pippin or Merry or whichever one that guy is. 5) An interesting question, but this leads to another. How much luggage survived the Rosen? How much was washed out to sea? 6) You may be the only one watching if they can't keep up the story...it will be one of the greatest efforts in the history of television if they can keep it up for a full season. Oh, heck, it's on ABC. Nobody's watching anyway. Mike
  10. The game will be shown in a big portion of the country...check USA Today on Friday (they've run these in the past) to see how much of the country will see Sunday's matchup. Mike
  11. stevestojan? defecating? (((((GROAN))))) This board has gotten totally off topic. Mike
  12. EndZoneCrew's been here, I see. Here we go! Mike
  13. It's in the very first episode of "Playmakers", 15-20 minutes in. You don't really see much, but I nearly fell over when I saw her. It's part of a fantasy sequence involving one of the players. Thea plays (what else?) a locker room reporter on the show...seems her character started getting a little "friendly" with one of the players, which prompted the fantasy. Mike
  14. Simms is not the greatest color commentator in the world, but I like Jim Nantz. He seems to be fair, objective, and knowledgeable. GO BILLS!! Show the rest of the country what you're made of! (In other words, don't *#&^ this up!) Mike
  15. More Depression Hits Cleveland. Film at 11. Mike
  16. CBS #1 Crew at the Ralph. See the "announcers" portion of the Gameday box. This is probably moreso because the Patriots are in town, but it is an important early-season AFC East matchup. I for one will be watching, with a plate of wings in front of me, somewhere that has NFL Sunday Ticket. And I'll be thinking of all of you who are gonna be at the game. Mike
  17. When my grandma passed away and I had to go to California. I got a lot of support on this board. Also, several members sent me checks when I raised money for MDA (through their "jail" program) about a year and a half ago. You know who you are. Thank you. Mike
  18. I think I saw a "bedroom" (since this is a family board, I'll leave it at that) scene with Thea Andrews of ESPN's "Cold Pizza". Whoa. Can anyone confirm this? Mike
  19. Did you tell them "thank you" afterwards? Mike
  20. Great win for St. Francis. St. Ignatius has won NINE Division I Ohio HS titles since 1988 (and three USA Today national titles). They have lost 10 games -- total -- since 1987. Mike
  21. A second Jumbotron, on top of the former Administration Building. Mike
  22. You know that Belichick is going to blitz Drew and disguise the blitz through several different defensive schemes. The O-line will have to keep Drew upright for an extra two seconds. The D will have to make some big plays. Don't forget they had 4 INT's against Brady in last year's opener. My guess is the Bills play very well...you know, on Any Given Sunday...but not quite well enough to win. For the third consecutive game, the Bills lose, 13-10. Mike
  23. I agree that the Bills are headed in the right direction. They bottomed out last year when the team fired GW. However, I don't agree with your final diagnosis. There are a LOT of frustrated fans on this board, taking out their aggressions on one another. That doesn't make them any less of a fan than you or I. Lastly, I disagree with the prediction...I think the Bills fall to 0-3, but play much harder than many believe they will. For the third week in a row, the Bills lose, 13-10. Mike
  24. My God. This thread is totally out of control now. Must...have...ah, screw it. From the town of Bedrock, there a place right out of history. Mike
  25. It's Des, not dib, who is the Felon fan. My apologies. Put your screwdriver back. Mike
