  1. Lucas just needed more cowbell, eh? Mike
  2. Hmm...must have missed that somehow. Mike
  3. A visit to One Bills Drive today It's short, but something may come out of it. I've never heard of this guy, though. Mike
  4. I hope he's not out on Chippewa every night. Mike
  5. Bills hand off to Losman This article is also linked on the TBD main page. I submitted it this afternoon, after I got my copy of USA Today Sports Weekly, only to notice that Daninator submitted it yesterday. It's a good read, though. Mike
  6. I've never seen "Attack of the Clones" and saw "Phantom Menace" only once. But I have seen the other Star Wars films numerous times and will probably need to rent the first two to be able to follow along with the new one. Mike
  7. I know Romeo & Phil ain't real happy. Apparently, since it is a non-game injury, the Browns are prohibited under the Collective Bargaining Agreement to comment on the injury. Right now, it's up to Winslow and his family, and they're as quiet as church mice. Mike
  8. This is why I'm going in July. BTW, I think JSP is addressing me b/c I posted a link to the first review of ROTS about two weeks ago. I did list "CAUTION: SPOILERS". But I will not post reviews...other than the fact that it's a Star Wars movie, and the last remaining one. We know how it ends. Oh, and Natalie Portman's naked in it. Mike
  9. This was a simulation done by Canadian Press. I smell a fix. Mike
  10. If there's no nuts in the frozen custard or cake, I should be fine. I rarely eat nuts to begin with, but my gastro doctor told me all in moderation and I should be fine. No eating a jar of Planter's Salted before bedtime, or a large bowl of buttered popcorn. That's about the extent of my restrictions. Thanks for your concern. Mike
  11. I've already informed my wife that I want a Rosati's frozen custard cake for my birthday, which is June 2. And a couple of quarts of their Higbee's Chocolate Malted, my favorite brand. It's terrific! Mike
  12. You are familiar with Culver's Butterburgers and Frozen Custard then? People from Wisconsin love their frozen custard. They also like beer and brats too...no wonder people there seem to be, ahem, thicker than the rest of us. Mike
  13. In the line of fire when "ketchup time" occurs w/Pinto Ron. Mike
  14. Right now, Peter Griffin. The Simpsons have looked especially tired in their last half-dozen episodes, but the one with Ray Romano was actually pretty good. I was afraid Family Guy would have slipped with the three-year layoff. But the show hasn't missed a beat. Sunday's was the best of the three they've aired since Family Guy returned. Mike
  15. It sounds like some of you would love beer-flavored ice cream. Mike
  16. I prefer this particular brand: Rosati's, a local Cleveland store I know some of you prefer Anderson's, which serves Beef on Weck as well. I can't find Beef on Weck anywhere in Cleveland since Buffalo Wild Wings stopped carrying it a while back. Mike
  17. I would love to...but I don't have NFL Network on my cable. It's available on digital, but I only have basic. Mike
  18. Was the program on NFL Network or one of the ESPNs? I'd like to see it someday. Mike
  19. Whoa, hold the phone. You look waaaaaaaaay too young to be a grandmother. Mike
  20. Stay classy, San Diego. Mike
  21. I got rid of the old avatar after getting e-mails about scaring small children. And since the new Star Wars is out this week, I figured Han Solo is more appropriate. Mike
  22. Unfortunately, I can't, since my birthday party is that day. My birthday is June 2. I prefer cash, in small bills. Mike
  23. How about Schlitz? I don't remember anyone mentioning Schlitz. Until the 1970's, they were one of the largest brewers in America. Then, Schlitz cut down the brewing cycle by two-thirds, which ultimately caused a green substance that resembled algae to grow inside the cans. It was harmless, but the damage was done. Mike
  24. The most underrated achievement in NFL history belongs to the Buffalo Bills. No other team went to four consecutive Super Bowls. And I don't believe one ever will again. Soylent Green, you just need to enjoy the moment. Three straight NFC title losses...even worse than my formerly beloved Browns of the late 1980s. Your team finally got over the hump. And your team, even if the Cancer Known As T.O. fails to return, has to be the favorite in the NFC again. I'm not an Eagles fan, but for some inexplicable reason, I have known several here in Ohio (I'm talking back to the Buddy Ryan years). I know that they are happy the Eagles finally made it back to the Super Bowl, but they would like a victory. Enjoy your time on, or near, the top. You never know how long you're going to be there. Mike
