  1. I didn't get to see the game today. I was too wrapped up about my beloved Cleveland Indians. And from the looks of things around here, thank God for that. Mike
  2. Oh, that's right. I forgot Mexico City is 7,500 feet above sea level. That should be fun to watch. Mike
  3. Ugh. What a disaster yesterday. I want to know what's wrong with JP. Is he being overcoached, as someone posted earlier? Or has he not yet caught up with the speed of the game? The Bills may need Holcomb after all, but they HAVE to give JP time. They can win their next three...time will tell. I also saw my formerly beloved Browns hang tough with a Colts team that I have as the Falcons' opponent in Super Bowl XL. Moral victories aren't much in the NFL, but I'm really starting to like this Cleveland Browns team. If Trent Dilfer were the Bills' QB, would they be better? Mike
  4. Nope. The Ralph is still in good shape, especially with the renovations a few years ago. But it would be wise for the team and the county to start saving their pennies for 20 years down the road. Mike
  5. 1) USC beats Oregon easily. Not even close. 2) LSU wins, as they're ticked off that their home opener has been postponed twice. 3) Virginia Tech. Tough to beat the Hokies in Blacksburg. 4) Ohio State. What's my handle again? Plus, revenge from 33-7 in Iowa City last year. 5) Wisconsin upends Michigan. Upset of the day. Back in 1981, when the Badgers won over That Team Up North, it was so crazy that students were swinging naked from the lampposts. Mike
  6. Bills defense comes up big against Mexico, but the offense struggles. Bills by 4, 17-13. Mike
  7. I just voted...Bills lead by 54, 2339 to 2285. Mike
  8. Ha-ha...follow the instructions I listed, because I couldn't get the pic up either. Mike
  9. Here's my picks for the Cleveland Wing: Allison Alexander (I posted her earlier on another thread). This pic does NOT do her justice...she's much better looking. She's on early in the morning and a nice way to start your day. Allison is a former Fiesta Bowl Queen. She's not to be confused with Sharon Reed, the reporter who took her clothes off to pose nude with several hundred others in a Spencer Tunick photo in Cleveland last year. WOIO in Cleveland seems to have all of the really hot anchors and reporters. None of the other stations have anyone to speak of, except Stacey Frey of Fox 8 (click on bios under "Fox 8 Personalities" and go to "Stacey Frey"), who looks a LOT like my wife, the lovely and talented Kimberly. Mike
  10. The fans of the Cleveland Browns are the same way. Oh, wait...I used to be a huge Browns fan. I still am, to a lesser degree (that never leaves you either). Never mind. Mike
  11. I saw him last night on "Larry King" too...I was wondering whatever happened to the Science Guy...now I know. Mike
  12. I don't think I've ever seen an ugly Hispanic female under the age of 40. Mike
  13. Oops. That was you. The above post is directed towards you. Mike
  14. I think that's "Ohio" by Bowling for Soup, correct? Oh, and to the person who has the issues with religious fundamentalists, I've heard pretty much the same thing. I'm a devout Christian, but I don't wanna give the doomsayers any quarter. Jesus said He'd come back, and it's His time, not ours or yours or anyone else's. These things are cyclical...but I do not believe that the end is near...yet. I'm safe here in Ohio, but with all the hurricanes, I'm starting to wonder how bad this winter's gonna be. We had 117 inches of snow last winter. Mike
  15. I should say so. I saw the cameras on the freeways in and around Houston. People are leaving. Galveston has been ordered evacuated. What a freaking mess. BTW, just heard the official Katrina death toll has reached 1,000+. As I said, what a mess. Mike
  16. I think it means: How the F#*% Did I Know? Mike
  17. You want Holcomb to start? I'll say it again...I've seen Kelly Holcomb start games. Be careful what you wish for. Mike
  18. You rang? Mike
  19. I was over at my parents' not too long ago, and my mother used that term right in front of my wife and myself. Bear in mind Mom has never talked about sex, at least in my presence, before. When we got into the car, I told Kim "If I ever hear my mother use the term 'blueb@!!$' again, it will be too soon." It has now become a running joke between the two of us. Mike
  20. Here's my local favorite...and no it's not Sharon Reed, the reporter who stripped for the massive nude photo of hundreds last summer. Allison Alexander, former Fiesta Bowl Queen (pic does NOT do her justice...she's very, very pretty) Mike
  21. I think we have a winner in JP...I don't think his confidence will be affected. If it is, then he does not have the psyche nor the heart to be a winning QB. Mike
  22. First of all, . Second, . Mike
  23. Ladies and Gentlemen, since the Cleveland Browns do not have cheerleaders, I give you the Bone Lady. She's even in a current McDonald's commercial in the Cleveland area. Mike (P.S. -- Here's a real nice addendum on her site regarding Jim Kelly's Hall of Fame Induction).
  24. Uh, never mind. Browns upset Packers. Mike
  25. Steve Heiden is perhaps the slowest TE in the NFL. But, he's got pretty good hands (witness 2 TD catches and 100 yards plus today). The Browns won a game I thought they had no business winning. Good for Romeo, Trent and the rest of the Dawgs. Go Browns! (What can I say...it never totally leaves you) Mike
