  1. Oh-Oh...27-20 Buckeyes with 5 1/2 minutes left. Hang On Sloopy... Mike
  2. Laura Quinn's from the Columbus area, so unless she spent the first part of her life in the Garden State, she ain't a Jersey Girl. Some of the best looking women I've ever seen are from the Dayton area...which is where AJ Hawk is from. Laura is merely average, I think. But she's definitely female. And you guys are a bunch of bastards. Mike
  3. This was the first time I've ever seen Dick Clark look close to his actual age (76). I think it's the end of an era in television. I don't believe we'll see Dick Clark again, and that's sad. On the other hand, what the heck happened to Mariah Carey? I saw a video of hers the other day from the early 90s...last night you could tell that she obviously bought herself a pair of 36DDs, along with a significant weight gain. Seeing Mariah in that outfit, I was wondering if she had an assistant help her squeeze into it. To see that, I think it would be the same principle as making a sausage. Mike
  4. Now everyone can focus on the Sabres. The game starts in twenty minutes. Mike
  5. 17-6? What the (bleep)? Is J.P. available? 'Cause Holcomb ain't cuttin' it. Mike
  6. I've told you guys...don't depend on Kelly Holcomb as your starter. Backup? Yes, a quality one. Starter? No way. Take your lumps with Losman, because I think J.P. has the tools to be terrific. Mike
  7. 3-3. First Bills game I've listened to on the radio...since now I have Sirius. Lindell's had a good season, but wait until Mike Nugent gets a couple of years under his belt for the Jets. Mike
  8. If Clarett had been patient and didn't ask for handouts, maybe he, and not Reggie Bush, would have won the Heisman this year (Clarett would have been a senior). But, he saw his buddy LeBron getting all the bling, and asked, "Where's mine?" His impatience for cash killed his career. And now this. What the #$%# is Maurice Clarett thinking? Mike
  9. I just checked this out...and the Google result ("What is Retatta?") comes from a topic that I posted. So technically, I wrote the Google entry. But really, all credit goes to Alaska Darin, CentralVABills, Chef Jim, and of course He Who Must Not Be Named (BF, Ieatcrayonz, or whatever the hell he's calling himself this week). Mike P.S. Someone really should start a Wikipedia entry on Retatta.
  10. No response here...just wanted to bump this back to the top of the board for the start of 2006. This thread represents all we hope to attain in terms of longevity and humor. Besides, it's too much of a classic to let die. Mike
  11. Happy New Year everyone! Stay safe. I stayed home this New Year's Eve. I'm tired tonight. Mike
  12. ESPN Starting to Backtrack. If this story isn't true, then Mortensen should be fired. Mike
  13. Hopefully, something like this. Mike
  14. Hmmm...a bizarre day continues: Browns' website says Phil Savage is staying. WTAM radio is reporting the same thing. They interviewed the Browns' President, John Collins, who says everything's been worked out and that Phil Savage will remain the VP/GM of the Browns. Mike
  15. If this is true (and there is some question as to whether it is, according to the Browns' flagship radio station), then the Browns will regret this move. Sad, really. Apparently, it all comes down to a power struggle between Collins and Savage. Fire Collins instead. Mike I bet you were all wondering when I would chime in...
  16. I think this is Favre's last game. The last thing he wanted to do in his career (lead the Pack to another Super Bowl) will be very difficult to do for a few years, and Aaron Rodgers is waiting in the wings. He's 36, which means he's about 60 in real human years, as Favre's received a real beating the last couple of seasons. Mike
  17. Where the hell's CTM when you need him? Mike
  18. Oh MY that's funny... Mike
  19. I like this game. Too bad it's not on Sirius tonight. But Sunday's game is (see my sig line below). Mike
  20. She's cute, but I bet Leah would be a pain in the butt to live with. Even if she weren't a Scientologist. As for Jenna Elfman? God, no. I find her irritating. Mike
  21. I also received a Sirius Radio...already love Sirius 8 (all 80s) and 23 (Hair Nation -- hair bands from the 80s). And yes, the f-word on the radio is strange...but I was listening to Larry the Cable Guy this morning on Laugh Break (Ch. 105), as well as Steven Wright ("I put Spot remover on my dog...and now he's gone"), followed by the "Stonecutters" song from the Simpsons. Great stuff on Sirius...I also got a portable DVD player. I don't have to watch regular TV or listen to commercial radio anymore if I want to. Mike
  22. hmmm...Babe of the Day turns into a how-to-spank-the...never mind. Mike
  23. Yeah, and it's hard to believe that Jon Stewart once didn't take himself so seriously, either. Speaking of which, Stewart once had a show on the network. Remember? Mike
  24. Ah...forgot about those two. Whatever happened to Ken Ober? Mike
