  1. That's what I thought. It was the term used in Biz Markie's hit single from the early 90s, "Just a Friend". He's going to see his girlfriend at school, and he uses that term in reaction to opening the door and seeing her kiss another man...I believe the line is, "Oh, snap, guess what I saw."
  2. And if he had kept his nose clean and didn't develop that drinking problem that the Denver Broncos accused him of, he could've been back in the NFL this year. Shoot, if an NFL team can keep Leonard Little around after he killed two people with his car, they ought to be able to find room on the Raiders for Maurice.
  3. Now that's even funnier!!
  4. And Jim Rome, who has his moments (good and bad) is, at the least, a terrific interviewer. Something Cowturd only wishes he could be...and probably whines about.
  5. No, the flex scheduling means better games in prime time. Wasn't there one in Atlanta last year that had the lowest ratings ever on MNF because both teams had fallen so far out of contention that nobody wanted to watch? I, for one, applaud the concept. Because there is always at least one surprise team every single season. And who knows, it could be the Bills this year. Or Reese Witherspoon might come to my front door with my morning coffee and paper, wearing nothing but her underwear. Still, it's fun to dream, isn't it?
  6. Dick Jauron's record with the Bears (5 seasons) = 35-46. Bill Belichick's record with the Browns (5 seasons) = 37-45. Both coaches had one playoff appearance -- DJ 0-1, BB 1-1 in those seasons. Some similarities there, it seems.
  7. Did anyone notice in the article that the city is still negotiating with Bass Pro Shops for the Aud? That's going on two years now, isn't it?
  8. Are you flippin' kidding me??? She's gorgeous. And as far as the Molson's is concerned, dib, it looks like she's never touched the stuff. Beer is just liquid bread, all carbs, after all. And we know where the carbs go.
  9. And I remember that very, very well. There are still some in Cleveland who ultimately blame Belichick for the Browns' move. I blame the media in this town, who hated BB since he was the type who was monosyllabic in press conferences and treated reporters as if they were lice. Much like Bill Parcells still does, but hey, Parcells was much more successful than BB had been in the early 90s. So, I think a LOT of the news media in this town criticized him mercilessly in print since Belichick really wasn't very nice to them. And they convinced the fans that BB was an idiot. During that time, I thought, be careful what you wish for, this guy may be successful someplace else. And that's exactly what happened. I've taken everything the media in Cleveland have said with a grain of salt ever since. Not a single one of these old heads has ever admitted they were wrong about Bill Belichick and his coaching abilities. Mike
  10. Now I know why the "Pirates of the Carribean" movies were so popular. Or should I say, .
  11. Love the poster's name...Klecko73isgod or some crap like that. You don't start speaking of a dynasty when you're 0-2 and you were 4-12 last year.
  12. The guy from "Dream On" is married to Madeline Stowe in real life. So, his life can't be all bad.
  13. I understand the video was filmed in only one take. Terrific song and even better video.
  14. The game was listed as a sellout...but it sure didn't look like one to me. The stadium was nearly empty with five minutes to go...and the Dolphins driving. Mike
  15. HAHAHAHAHA
  16. One thing I noticed...the stands were half full at Dolfelon Stadium almost the entire second half. They didn't have a big crowd today? For a seeming Super Bowl contender? Mike
  17. Wow...what an effort today by the Bills! Impressive! Mike
  18. Linky from earlier thread, which I started. You know what really grinds my gears here? And no one else has mentioned it, save for the sfgate.com article. The fact that CNN Headline News aired this interview AFTER Melissa Duckett had committed suicide. That is the absolute height of irresponsibility, their notice to the viewer notwithstanding. I may never watch those bastards again. And that's too bad, since CNNHN also has the lovely Robin Meade...nice way to start the mornings.
  19. You know, I knew someone was gonna make that comparison. And Bluefire, I figured it would be you. Mike
  20. Thank you, my friend. I guess Sloopy held on last night, after all. 11,000,000 Ohioans are certainly happy this morning. I was watching the first part of the game at a friend's house, who remarked on the Godzillatron: "That thing's practically bigger than the stadium!" I too was surprised, because the Horns seemed to have success running the ball, but I believe the game plan changed after halftime...that TD at the end of the half seemed to take the wind out of the team and the crowd. You don't put the game in the hands of a redshirt freshman QB who hasn't shown you anything. McCoy will get his opportunities, but he's not a leader...yet. I was shocked that the Buckeyes held Texas to 7 points. I do believe that speaks volumes for the defense, as it has no way to go but up. Right now, the Buckeyes are truly No.1, and no one will take over that spot until Ohio State loses. They are the best team in the country right now until proven otherwise. The other games people around here are concerned about are Iowa (who didn't really impress me in their OT win over a bad Syracuse team) and, of course, That Team Up North, who would love nothing better than to ruin a potential title season. Last year -- Texas 25, Ohio State 22. This year -- Ohio State 24, Texas 7. Total points scored -- Ohio State 46, Texas 32. da da da da, da da da da GO BUCKS!!! Mike
  21. It seems to me that lasagna pizza would seem to cater to those who are looking for a new way to clog their arteries. As if there aren't so many other ways to do that already. After all, I'm the one who posted the fat and calorie content of a Romanburger from Mr. Hero on this site nearly four years ago (click on "our menu" once you get past the pictures of Nicole). The nutritional list is no longer on the site (go figure), but it has something like 42 grams of fat and 800 calories. And it's my favorite sandwich. You can also give me that double cheese extra pepperoni pizza anytime as well. And by the way, I'm 5'8", 210 lbs. So you can call me a fat-@$$ if you want. Mike
  22. Example #117,306 of why the United States is the fattest nation on Earth. Seriously, lasagna pizza??? That was made for the fat-@$$ who can't decide what high-carb dish to have for dinner. Not only are we fat, we're getting dumber and more indecisive by the day. BTW, my mom makes the best lasagna in the world. I won't eat anyone else's. And there's not a drop of Italian blood anywhere in my family. The best pizza I've found is this place called Frankie's, just down the street from me. Just a flat-out terrific (and cheap) Italian place. Mike
  23. I was hoping you wouldn't mind. It was a terrific line.
  24. Lovely image. And I just had breakfast too. For my feelings on the whole thing, read my last sig line I stole from SilverNRed.
  25. And that line, my friend, can be taken in sooooo many different ways.
