  1. Surprised no one has asked, "Where's the lesbian action?"
  2. Suicide is serious. I think the last few months on this board have bourne that out. I don't know if more and more people are disturbed today, because of the frantic pace of life, or something in the water, or not being able to deal with depression, or whatever. I just know that killing yourself is not the way to deal with life, my respect for Paul notwithstanding. But, I think we have safety valves in all of us. And when that safety valve is malfunctioning, people go off the deep end and do things that they may not do otherwise.
  3. Sure did. It was actually a feature on the Game Show Network. I even taped it to show my wife. I remember seeing it in 1985, when the shows first aired. Michael Larson admitted on the air that he had figured out the pattern on the board. He would up losing all the money and died broke in the late 90s. At the time of his death, he was working in a Wal-Mart in southern Ohio as an assistant manager.
  4. Three words: Press. Your. Luck. I put The Price is Right at #2, largely because the cyborg that replaced Bob Barker in 1993 is doing such a good job.
  5. No, I won't help you. That's why I'm not gonna post in this thread.
  6. I've been saying pretty much the same thing here for four years. I deleted the reference to your wife. Don't wanna get off on the wrong foot with the Inkman. And besides, my wife, the lovely and talented Kimberly, is in the same category.
  7. And you probably think that the moon landing was faked. Was 9/11 an inside job? Such conspiracy theories require waaaaaaaaaay too many people to be secret about things that people would brag about if they got drunk enough.
  8. Would you like fries with that? Way too easy...
  9. Um, does The Banana Splits count as non-animated? It is one of the greatest TV themes ever, IMO.
  10. I actually would support renaming the place Bob Kalsu Stadium. Until recently, I didn't know that the issue had once come up and that the Old Man turned it down. RWS was named Rich Stadium as the first stadium with a naming rights deal in 1973...the total fee paid by Rich Products to Erie County was the princely sum of $25,000.00 (the total cost of the stadium: $21 million).
  11. I know the plaza out in front of the stadium is named after Pat Tillman. But the more I think about it, you're right. The name of the Cardinals' stadium should be Pat Tillman Memorial Stadium.
  12. Because that's where Super Bowl XLII will be played. This is a 20 year naming rights deal, paid for by the country's largest private university (note: if it doesn't have a student union, cute coeds, and at least a basketball team, it's not a university, it's a trade school). A question to the denizens of the board, which corporate sponsor would have provided a better name: 1) University of Phoenix Stadium 2) Pink Taco Stadium
  13. If the NFL was rigged, the New York teams would have won more than three Super Bowls between them and appeared in more than four. I don't think there is any question that the league wants "big-market" teams to win, but there are simply too many variables that occur within the game of football for me to believe that the whole thing is rigged. What the NFL needs to do is hire full-time officials, instead of the bankers, attorneys, and insurance agents they have now. These zebras miss calls all the time and this past Super Bowl might have been the single worst officiated game ever.
  14. Good article from a native on ESPN.com Yes, New Orleans needs the Saints. And I expect that it will be a raucous crowd tonight at the newly refurbished Superdome. This should be fun to watch...it could be a perfect example of a team feeding off the frenzy of a home crowd. Everyone in America will be rooting for the Saints this year. And they may be a better team than we all thought. Never before in their 40 year history have the Saints been 2-0.
  15. No. The Saints, if they move at all, would be headed for Los Angeles.
  16. I think I speak for every red-blooded male on this board when I say the following: EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
  17. I tend to agree b/c the sexualization of young people in our culture is rapidly spinning out of control. Kids under 18 should be off limits...but TV, movies, and the Web are obviously sending mixed messages with seductive poses and entertainment that shows teens who are sexually active. And then, we act surprised when the pedophiles appear. I could slip a dig at Meazza here, but I'm dead serious.
  18. Here are the problems with what you saw: total weight = approx. 1095 lbs. Said lesbos should be 1/2 of that amount if you want to find them attractive. tattoos = 8 that you saw. Question of where these tats were never explained. A well placed lower back tattoo on a sexy woman can work wonders, but since the lesbos apparently weren't... number of lesbos with shaved head and bandanna = 1. No thank you. total of times they made out with each other = 41+. If these persons are Sarah Michelle Gellar and Selma Blair in "Cruel Intentions" or Phoebe and Rachel or Rachel and Winona Ryder on that "Friends" episode, no problem. If the women are not, big problem. number of times they fed each other hot dogs = 5. Indeed, quite ironic. Maybe they just needed a real man to show them the ropes.
  19. A lot of media people in this town are ready to bury the Browns. Romeo Crennel has gotten a lot of criticism this past week, and the wolves are preparing to pounce on OC Maurice Carthon. There seemed to be a lot of distractions this week. So, the score at this point is surprising.
  20. I know I didn't expect that...but Braylon Edwards has over 100 yards receiving and Winslow made a spectacular catch to keep the drive alive at the end of the first half. 14-3 Browns over the 2-0 Ravens entering the third.
  21. The News picked Auburn by a score of 66-3. I told somebody today when I saw the line was 41 1/2..."Take the points. By all means, take the points." UB didn't get killed...and I think they got some respect today. But Duey's right, they ran out of gas in the 4th quarter.
  22. The Bills play the Ravens in Baltimore on New Years' Eve. Who knows what that will be for?
  23. I have added my name to the above edited list. And like cablelady said, I want the last 10 minutes of my life back.
  24. AAAHH!! I've been snoped!! I feel so cheap and used...
  25. Congrats Mile High. And you're probably feeling that way right about now.
