It's just the fans that think the cold will affect the Ravens more, I'm sure the players and coaches aren't wasting their time with that thinking.

Just curious as to how Beane built the team for this weather? We have a smallish defense, I'm not sure that is an advantage in bad weather. This year only, we have an offense that can play in this weather with a strong line and running attack. I think the Ravens will be fine in this weather. I hope I'm wrong, but too much made out of the cold.

I hope so. I think the conditions may favor the Ravens on defense, they're bigger and stronger. On offense, poor conditions generally favor strong running games, both teams are strong. Thankfully, Brady and Kroemer have done a great job committing to a strong run game.

How do the replicate single digit conditions? 10-15 mph winds, possible snow?

I don't know the answer, but did they practice on crappy conditions every day? I can't see how not being about to practice your plays properly will help in the game. I'm sure if it was just raining, they would practice outside. I doubt the game Sunday will be a sloppy game, i still think there is benefit to actually practice your plays with some success.

Ahh, yeah it's kinda ridiculous, isn't it. You can control your practice environment, not the game environment. Why get in poor practices the week before the game? That makes no logical sense.

I think that, along with Flowers possibly missing the game is significant. Still gonna be tough, we're not good against the run.

But I don't think it was meant as an insult to Buffalo, he's basically saying that the Ravens defense just needs to stop Allen, which goes with what Bills fans use as a reason that Josh deserves mvp, that he has less help than Lamar.

Actually it means it's easy to go against the Bills defense. That's the big fear for me.

Bateman has had some big games and they have 2 very productive tight ends. It's good news of Flowers is out, but they have many weapons on offense. If we cant stop Henry ,it won't matter.

Yet he had a very good game. I think everyone is trying to convince themselves of reasons that will help us. I can't see the weather being an advantage for us. We need a consistent pass rush and to not let Henry control the game.

What do you think he did wrong last year against KC? As we have lost home playoff games the last 2 years, lost to Jax under Marv at home, 'our' weather and fans don't really mean that much.
