I doubt they care today, while so many fans can't get over it.

I doubt they care.

I think 10 players out of the 110 polled voted him overrated. Fans really need to get over that.

Sure it should have, Lamar was fantastic this season.

Prepare For The Bills To Go International Regularly

If the league lost all credibility, i think it would be in serious trouble, it's not. -
We are currently negative 2.5 mill in cap space for 2025

From what I've read from anonymous GM's, that's too much for Garrett, plus with the Browns terrible cap situation, no way they'll take on Rousseau's 5th year, and possible extension. -
You really watched the games just to see the commercials? I don't get the fascination with commercials. Advertisers expect us to react to what are sometimes really stupid commercials. I find that insulting.
-
Not sure that this hurts the league. It's the secondary market.
-
Reporting is that Tom Brady wants Crosby there long term. Which makes sense.
-
Crosby would be a tremendous addition.
-
Baltimore obviously didn't care.

I think Williams and Miller did the best that they could. Miller at the end of his career, Williams, a marginal linebacker to begin with. I doubt that Hamiln was the projected starter in the original plans, I think it was edwards and Bishop, but injuries early in camp killed that.
-
Who underperformed? Hamlin played probably as good as he can. He's a nice backup safety. Rapp has been the same player the last 2 seasons. Makes some great plays, many not so great. Daquan probably got old, his play affects Oliver, Groot was basically the same player as always, the rest of the line are nothing special to begin with. I think most probably played up to their talent level. We need better personnel. I think it's that clear cut.
-
I think it's actually pretty simple... we need to be able to attack the QB consistently, a lot of things fall into place after that. . And the season on the whole, all that turnover on defense, significant change on the line with a new LG and C, WR room significant changes... Beane said this was a transition year, I think if Beane spoke honestly, he would say that at the beginning of the season, they weren't expecting the year to go like it did. We were in the AFC championship game against the 2 time, defending champs, in their stadium, had the ball with 3 minutes and 3 timeouts left to win the game. I think a damn good coaching job by McDermott. One wrong call goes our way and we likely win. Yes, the defense needs a lot of work, but leave the coaching staff in place. Brady needs to be better and so does Babich. Give them a legit WR1 and Edge Rusher , and a solid draft, and we should be great next season.
-
defense wasn't great last season either, which is why there was so much turnover.
-
Because offense has been our problem all these years?
-
Not enough talent on defense. Average safety position, Average dline, below average pass rush , linebackers probably pretty solid with a strong line. It's a personnel issue, mostly.
-
About 6 million. Jones slowed down this season, that hurt. Plus no big pass rusher to replace Floyd. Having a legit pass rusher will make the rest of the defense better.

I just looked on spotrac. His 2025 cap hit is over 23 mil, dead cap 15 mil, post June 1st cut, dead cap 6 mil. So potential to save 17 mil next season of they choose post June 1 If you go to spotrac, manage team, there's great info. It gives you restructuring options as well as releasing implications.
-
What about dead cap?
-
I don't think that's correct. With his dead cap, he saves about 9 mil.
-
Only 9mil? That's a lot. Unless he takes a huge cut, I think he's gone.
-
It's not like we threw much to any WR. We currently a run first, run often offense.
-
Don't his coordinators call the plays, come up with the game plan? I know the buck stops with him, but Brady had a crap game. Wasn't prepared for the blitz, wouldn't change the qb sneaks, took Cook out in critical situations...
-
At the beginning of the season, a lot of smart people thought we may take a step back after all the significant changes on the roster. I felt that way too. I think we should have one, probably would have is not for a number of close calls that didn't go our way. But despite all of that, we had the ball with 3 minutes to go, 3 timeouts left, on the road against 2 time defending champs, where a touchdown would get us to the super bowl. A pretty good season. Maybe McDermott did an amazing job with what he had. Started the season without Milano, 2 safeties that probably weren't expected to start,,Edwards and Bishop were probably the plan. No WR1 , 2 new coordinators. Just a different perspective on the discussion.
