  1. That's just wrong, that's not how sports works. New contracts set the price. Look where Allen ranks in QB salary. Certainly most qbs earning more than he does aren't him.
  2. Saquon has a 3 year 36million contract, no season is over 10 million cap hit, this past season was under 7, year 2 around 10, year 3 under 8 million. It can be done. Yep, totally glossed over all those holes. I don't care about them, whatever they might be.
  3. Maybe I'm missing something, but Is everyone getting bent out of shape over a tweet? And I'll repeat. You can can sign him for example to a 4 year, 60 million extension, and probably not feel the heat to the cap for 2 to 3 seasons. The cap will continue to rise, in 3 years, we'll likely have Dawkins, Milano, Samuel off the books. Basically, the contract isn't executed in a vacuum, lot of other factors come into play. I doubt we'll spend big on WR, so need to have an elite rushing attack and I think Cook is elite.
  4. You're taking over negotiations? Make a good deal please So, he's great inside the 20 and cab break 60 yard runs... but that's not good enough. Jesus
  5. He had 6 tds over 10 yards, 4 of those over 40, one over 60. So really don't think that the defensive scheme has much to do with it. 7 TD's from inside the 5. Normally, teams laud players who can punch it in from close. It's just wrong to dismiss that to poor defensive play calling.
  6. Do you think Davis will give us 21 TDs? If Brady stays away from having an elite passing game, we'll need dynamic running backs. Cook isn't easily replaced.
  7. Not sure what pure means, he's a great runner, elite. 21 TDS, how many running backs do that? With one year left on his rookie deal, a well constructed contract probably won't have a high cap hit for a few years. I'm confident we'll sign him to a good contract, he's too good to let go.
  8. It might be 15mm AAV, but cap hits the first couple years can be modest, add that with yearly cap increases, might not be a bad deal. He's really good, I want to keep him. I think if they used him differently in the passing game, he'd be really good. He had some really nice receiving plays, just not enough of them. That's on Brady.
  9. If KC is serious about keeping him, they'll probably need to offer more than 1 year.
  10. We've had mostly good line play, when healthy. Also, this season, our defense had a lot of turnovers, that helped hide many of our shortcomings on defense.
  11. No big deal, you've seen one, you've seen them both.
  12. Unless he has a big year, I don't see Bernard getting a 2nd contract. Shakir and Benford should stay, Cook definitely, not sure about Rousseau, but he's pretty solid and that's OK.
  13. They actually made several moves to get into the position to draft him. That's not lucking into anything, it was very calculated.
  14. For all that football has changed over the years, you can't win consistently without great line play on both sides of the ball. That's never changed.
  15. Remember, you replace players you don’t get rid of them. Do we have a viable replacement for anyone that you or others think about moving on from? We are weak on the line, so who takes Rousseau's spot?
  16. But our offense functions very well. It's the defense that is holding us back.
  17. They have a ton more talent on defense than the Bills. That helps.
  18. Many teams will be interested in him. He won't have to settle for a 1 year deal. He proved that a Super Bowl champion team values his skill because they want him back.
  19. Brown doesn't need to sign a one year deal. He'll get a multi year contract.
  20. Diggs was great. Von was great until he tore his ACL
  21. That's how I am when I watch Josh. I'm not embarrassed to admit it.
  22. I thought the show sucked, now I know why I never watch award shows, but I thought most of the players on stage represented themselves very well. Jayden Daniels seems like a super kid.
  23. How am I'm sticking up for them?
  24. That doesn't make any sense. I'm not criticizing Josh. Nice try, sorta.
