Love it from a Bills perspective.  That's a lot of money for Mr. Just September All-Pro.

Stupid from a Dolphins perspective.  They need a quarterback that can perform in cold weather.  Hell, they need a whole team that doesn't curl up in the fetal position once it hits 32 degrees.

Wasn't it under 32 degrees for the wild card game when their 3rd stringer almost beat us at home?

They won’t be able to pay for anything but WR and QB. Tua will need a very strong OLine in front of him to keep him alive. What kind of defense can they afford after that?

Allen has a $60 million cap hit next year.  I guess we're screwed too.

Most good teams have qbs with huge contracts. Somehow,  they manage to keep a lot of their players.

    I agree.

Of course with Tua concussion and injury history, the risk is massive, glad the Bills were forced into such a decision a la Allen.

Of course there's risk,  but what other option did they have.  When healthy,  he's a top QB in a dynamic offense.

Nothing is better than watching a division rival in QB purgatory

He's a pretty damn good qb. They have a tremendous offense.  I would much prefer if they didn't sign him

It's crazy that Bills fans think this is a bad thing for the Dolphins.

  5. At New Orleans in 1992.

Saints had a dynamic defense,  playing at home,  one of the toughest matchups we had during the era.

We won 20-16, in a real battle.

Going into the game, it was one of the few times I didn't think we were going to win. Ballsy performance.

Beating the Chiefs in the AFC Championship,  Thurman's finest hour,  in my opinion.  He was special that day.

On the flip side of that coin the chiefs had this level of wr and won the Super Bowl 😂

i feel like Kincaid has to be factored in even if you’re talking about wr specifically and the dolphins/jets don’t have a guy like that

I'm not saying they can't be successful,  I'm just stating that we look at players differently if they're on our team.

They don’t have Josh Allen and he, old stick, makes ALL the difference. Just ask Cole Beasley and John Brown. Now if we had Rodgers or Tua as our quarterback, I’d expect tons of sneering and semi stifled laughter. One is a shadow, the other is Mr. October. Concerning the quality of our receivers, you are as wrong as wrong can be.

Keep looking at things through Buffalo colored glasses.

Would you not take Miami or Jets WR over ours?

It might very well be because of our wide receivers room at the time, the ever disappearing late and post season Diggs, and Gabe the “ankle” Davis with his perennial injuries, our supposed two best options, and then outside of Shakir and Kincaid, with a sprinkling of Cook we were not in a position of strength, just a thought…,

Or Brady didn't have a good game plan to include WR 's.

I just don't understand how the Bills thought he was the best OC available, or what fans see in him that looks so great.

I would say he didn't want to. They needed to right the ship after that 6-6 start, so they threw the ol' curve ball at the defenses. They relied heavily on their running game and unproven receivers, who defenses weren't focused on, and it worked out.

They can't do that this year, obviously. These unproven receivers are now proven, and also don't have the proven guys taking attention off of them.

McD will still want Brady to emphasize the running game in order to play complimentary football. As long as the running game is successful, the intermediate routes should still be open.

This off-season, they acquired receiving targets specifically for Brady's offense. They may be a poor man's version of what Brady had at Carolina and LSU, but Brady still knows exactly how to use them in order to be successful.

The big question mark for Brady is the TEs, which have never been an emphasis of his offense. Dalton Kincaid did just fine last year, which is a good sign.

Not sure how accurate a statement that is.  Jury is out.

Sadly, there's a bit of truth in that.

But if the OL can protect Josh, and if Brady turns out to be a good OC who knows how to scheme guys open, we'll be fine.

We might not have All Pros at the skill positions (outside of our All World QB), but we do have a nice variety of weapons.

Like many have mentioned,  Cook and Kincaid will be the focus of the offense's targets. The WR will be complementary pieces to the offense.

Brady couldn't or didn't want to get the ball to Diggs and Davis after he took over,  wondering if he can do anything with the new group.

I posted it somewhere else but have a good friend that is a scout with the Bears. He texted me as soon as the Bills signed him. He said that “hes been a cancer everywhere that he’s been.” He also said, “we paid him to stay home and started winning games as soon as we did.”

I know that this isn’t shocking but it’s interesting to hear from that side. My buddy is a former player and generally gives everyone the benefit of the doubt. He went out of his way to say what an idiot Claypool is. That was discouraging.

I'm trying to remember when the Bears started winning games.
