I became a much bigger McDermott fan during the stretch run this past season. The team rallied, and he was the leader. It was great coaching and I believe he's a top coach in the league. We will win a super bowl with him.
-
Exactly, I wasn't impressed early when he wasn't on the field often, but when he started to get more action, he made an impact. Like most of our DB's , I would expect continued improvement.
-
And Knox will add more too
-
He'll bring in a big ticket player, I'm betting on 2 of them.
-
If we restructure Allen and Dawkins, maybe Knox. I could see a big ticket FA. If they backload a couple contracts, could make a big splash.
-
He didn't steal anything. He was recovering from a serious knee injury.
-
Also, we have a very good Oline coach, entering his 3rd season with the team. I think he knows who will work in his system and who won't. My guess is that he didn't see Bates being the right fit for what he wants to see.
-
There's another Josh Allen in the league? Why they never mentioned that when we played Jax is beyond me.
-
Like many contracts, I think Knox's will get better with time. The cap just had a dramatic increase and league revenues will likely continue to rise substantially. In 2 years we'll have some big contracts off the books and and replaced with younger players deals. I don't think Knox has a contract we should be worried about. Plus, he'll likely have a restructure coming up.

Who says those are terrible ideas?
-
Why do you think they don't care? I know one party wants nothing to do with gun laws, but I still think most of them still care a bit about the violence.
-
Most economists from both sides say the economy is very strong. You say it sucks, then state that people are brainwashed by politics. It's as if you're one of the people you're talking about.
-
This is the media's fault somehow? Who do you think reports on the Chicago violence while ignoring the higher violence rates in other cities? So you think Newtown, Uvalde, Vegas.... got too much coverage?
-
However bad that number is, it's a 10% decrease from 2022. Many cities have a higher homicide rate.
-
And while you're focusing on Chicago, St Louis, Birmingham, Jackson MI, and New Orleans all have higher gun violence rates. But let's talk about Chicago because....?
-
Sorry, maybe I wasn't clear. I wasn't asking you to create a story, I'm guessing this john doe isn't a real person. Which laws aren't being enforced? Can you cite a specific law? Yeah, you're probably right. We don't have nearly enough gun violence to to help come up with any solutions yet. Hopefully, someday.
-
There will be more shootings in the next 24 hours, so we need to wait another 24 and so on... nothing will ever get discussed with that logic. Which laws are not enforced that would prevent shootings?
-
Why do you think we have so much more gun violence in this country compared to almost every other developed nation? And why remove suicide? You don't see that as a tragedy for the family ?
-
Impossible, 800 cops ( good guys with guns) were there. Plus Missouri has one of the highest gun ownership rates in the country ( more good guys with guns?)
-
Laws help. If you're expecting a perfect solution, you'll never get it. If murder was legal, there'd be a lot more of it. My ex is probably fortunate that it is against the law, lol. And there really is no push to ban all guns.
