  1. It is pretty remarkable how many missed kicks there's been. Even Gostkowski has missed a couple. Don't want to jinx, but Carpenter was solid yesterday. Hopefully, he figured it out. That's an amazing statistic.
  2. it definitely make the game more interesting.
  3. Pitt went 0-4 a couple weeks ago. But your point is solid, it's an added dimension to the game, games are impacted by this and play calls later in the game are also impacted. It's been a good thing for the NFL. I like it.
  4. what does that mean? It was a play most fans didn't pay any attention to. It was a play that rarely impacted the game. Now it's a play with added tension to it, which is what a good game need more of. if you score 2, 4 or 6 TD's a game. If you score 3, you may be in trouble if you already missed twice.
  5. he's not a professional? He's actually pretty consistent. Look at his stat lines the last 2 seasons. High % completion, great rushing stats, low turnover rate...
  6. the negative I take from this game was poor play calling inside the 5 yard line. Should have run behind felton... too many passes and misdirections. based on 70% completion, some big scrambling plays on 3rd down that got us a first and we won.
  7. not as awful as everyone thinks.
  8. he hit 70% of his pass attempts - not good enough apparently. He used his legs to get 3 first downs, to get the ball to tate on a big gain.... I hate to quote speilman, because he is an awful commentator, but I believe he blamed Harvin and the lack of timing because of his absence. But blame TT if it helps you sleep better tonight.
  9. Do you think sitting on the bench for 4 years is game experience? Ridiculous
  10. Marginal my ass. It's a helluva benefit. Each time he does it, it keeps a drive alive. He ran for 3 first downs, nice evading of pressure to hit Tate on a 34 yard gain. He completed 70% of his passes today. That's pretty good.
  11. sitting on the bench for 4 years really doesn't count as 'experience' in the terms of playing QB.
  12. we have a chance. I'm not ready to give up yet.
  13. TT has value that most other QB's don't. His running and scrambling ability has led to many first downs and TD's that normally would end up as a punting situation. I like him and until someone comes along a lot better I'm not going to piss and moan each week, especially after a win.
  14. I believe we are first in rushing, really can't have both going all the time. Especially with our WR crew.
  15. right, players never improve do they. Still only his second year as a starter, most of it without Sammy. The offensive line is getting better each week, if we had a healthy set of WR, I think you would see TT's numbers improve. Just like the 2nd half of last season when he started throwing to Sammy a lot.
  16. When teams run for around 200 yards, you usually don't have the QB lighting up the scoreboard. TT wasn't great today, but my god, what a bunch of whiny little piss pots on this site.
  17. Defense played well today, too bad you seem to have missed the game.
  18. so what would you do about it? Instead of pissing and moaning about it all week, and then start all over again next week.
  19. Reading a few threads so far... did we lose and i missed it?
  20. Unless He can play CB, I see no reason to be concerned that he needs more playing time.
  21. I seem to recall after SB XXV that Parcells said they spent an incredible amount of time preparing for Tasker for the big game. I think Marv was very accurate in that statement.
  22. Are you crying? There's no crying in football!
  23. The 'rigorous' couple of hours of 'vetting' at Ellis Island.
  24. As a US citizen he cannot be forced to stand and recite a pledge , so it would be interesting to see what a judge would do.
