    I'm not sure that's a feather in his cap, based on how Dareus has behaved over the years. But i'd like to restructure and keep him. Cut Graham and Carpenter saves us around $9mm right there. Restructure a few more deals and we have plenty of space.

    Hughes needs to improve , no doubt. But can't see Alexander as a suitable replacement.

    Let's not get fooled by one great year by Alexander. He's old by football standards, players performances fall off quickly at this age. Anything we get from him will be a bonus.

    are you ok with a backup that's a terrible QB, throws too many interceptions.... doesn't make any sense. So if he plays, you're ok if he stinks?

    Sometimes backup QB's need to take the field. For this reason, I wouldn't want him on the team. Not sure why anyone would want someone who they know isn't any good.

    It's stupid talk. You've got 4-5 years to build a solid 53 man roster if you tank. Look how long it's taken the Sabres and they're still a ways away with a 20 man roster.

    this is based on last years results. Teams aren't the same year to year, except maybe the Bills. I've never put too much stock into this statistic.

    I'm not so sure that people are passing over that fact or just pointing out that calling 2 more running plays on their fateful drive would have likely led to the Falcons winning the Super Bowl, despite the defensive collapse.
