  1. I didn't see the whole thing, but didn't he drop one f bomb? Or was there more?
  2. pretty much, yeah. I didn't expect you to change your mind. I'm sure the cowboys expected him to suck when they drafted him. ' Zeke Elliott' ?????? who thought he would be any good.
  3. you think the scouts/gm's don't know who the trouble makers are? It's just that for some it's a bigger factor than for others.
  4. The draft is not a 'crap shoot', these players are scouted, studied, interviewed, tested... for years in some cases. Just because they all don't pan out doesn't mean it's a 'crap shoot'.
  5. McDermott needs to learn that there is no 'I' in team.
  6. Corners are important in every defense.
  7. right, we should keep all our players so we never have to worry about replacing anyone. You make no sense.
  8. yeah, having a player at every position
  9. that's another post you are totally wrong about. Ralph wouldn't pay him what Knox wanted on a new deal.
  10. This isn't about hating Ralph(i'm not sure 'hate on' is grammatically correct) I can like someone as a person and still find him to be an subpar owner. I started going to games in 1970, I remember the bad times and there were a lot of them. Ralph seemed to be a better person after the super bowl era, but ask anyone around back then and he was pretty much universally disliked in Buffalo. He turned out to be a real nice guy, just didn't have enough on the field success for most of us long time fans. If you're referring to the Knox era, getting rid of Knox was Ralph's biggest blunder in his time as owner, in my opinion.
  11. If you're content with Ralph's 50+ year record, good for you. No I don't think my 'new' team, whatever that means, will lose 4 straight super bowls. The totality of his tenure is poor. Yes, a few bright spots, mids 60's and the Super Bowl run. That's about it.
  12. it just wasn't much.
  13. why should this even matter. And it's not a slap in the face.
  14. Don't know how he looked early in his career and what held him back, but Williams looked pretty awful last season.
  15. Great we roll it over and people will still B word about cap space. If McCoy gets hurt, I would say there's a good chance MG will be the missing piece for sure. Who is our backup now?
  16. is it underestimating if the player performed poorly? Or is it accurately estimating his ability? Apparently NE didn't want to wait for that 'diamond in the rough' to be available after being discarded. But what do they know about talent evaluation?
  17. I guess all the armchair capoligists will be happy. What good is having the money available if they don't spend it.
  18. he's still very important to the offense. 9 TD's are pretty valuable.
  19. Was at that game with 2 of my brothers. 1000 yards total offense. Amazing game. Just remembered Kelly's last second TD in Miami, opening day 1989.
  20. Bills vs Raiders- Sunday Night game in 1990. Scored 24 points in the 4th qtr. Blocked punt return, Odomes stole the ball and ran in for a TD, I think both teams were undefeated at the time. it was, he also made an amazing catch, 1 handed, diving catch the play or 2 before.
  21. mine too, add the win against Miami in 1980.
  22. Yeah, December is ridiculous.
  23. Until we become a good team the schedule will always look tough. We will usually play teams that had more wins than we did. However, I think if McDermott and his staff aren't total idiots, we will be better than last season, so until then, let's try to be optimistic.
  24. most fans used to want home games in december, apparently, we once had a home field advantage and the December games were important.
