I think this upcoming season will be very trying on everyone. Will be curious to see how he handles some very expected road bumps this season and likely next.
I think most of us here understand, for the most part , why the actions are being taken. I think it's just we are all pretty sick and tired of it happening every couple of years.
If he stuck it out this long with the Bills, not sure that anything that happened so far this year would push him over the edge. It's been a mess his whole career here. He'd be fooling himself if the thought this season would be any different.
Not that it's their fault - but it's becoming obvious that our 'leaders' have no impact on Dareus. I don't think leaders are there to fix problem players, they help the good, younger players and lead, not fix.
Keep the guys you picked. We trade Darby still on his rookie deal for a player that's a FA at the end of this season in Matthews- probably won't sign him because he'll cost too much.
The cap isn't unmanageable. Most teams can handle it.
It's not the move by itself, it's getting nothing out of a 2nd round pick from last season, it's trading other 2nd and 1st round picks from the past couple years and getting future draft picks. It's the culmination of a multi year sh$t storm for this franchise. You can't become a contender if you get nothing out of you top picks.
Exactly
I understand it's a different staff and system, but when a team gets nothing out of 1st and 2nd round picks, it hurts the team. Even if the trade makes sense.
