I agree about Tolbert, not really very effective for a number 2 back on a team that's supposed to live and die with the running game. If it wasn't for McBeane, can't imagine him having a job. He's not awful, but hardly a suitable backup for this type of offense.

Getting Glenn healthy would be a big help. Every team protested. Half of them won half of them lost. It didn't impact the results.

Having the Ryans gone obviously helps the defense, but having quality safeties helps more.

I guess this thread may be a microcosm of the issue facing the US. A person makes a seemingly thoughtful comment about a issue that's important to a large number of citizens and while some posts are equally as thoughtful, most are either sarcastic or hateful. It would seem that this issue is a long way from being resolved. I would guess that most here that wrote nasty comments are probably pretty decent people, but for some reason, they have some anger inside them. Sad.

Why would it, there's no real correlation in your statement. Rams have a realistic potential to be a great offense, they have Wade as DC , so a reason to be optimistic about the defense.

they have young , dynamic talent at QB, RB and WR. They have reason to be excited, we don't.

It's a legitimate issue and it's great that rich athletes that are sometimes seen as aloof and selfish are actually concerned about important social issues. Sports and politics have often been intertwined. Our children will be better people than our generation. A few years ago my son referred to a classmate as the girl with the long hair- not the black girl. I was very encouraged by that. Skin color is not the first thing our children look at.

We would need to sign him for that to happen, and he would want to sign with us. Did you receive a medical report on Sammy already in regards to him missing 2 weeks? In part because these players left us in their prime. We don't get the best years out of these guys.

Yeah, concussions are pretty rare in the NFL. Did you see how he got it, battling to get in the endzone and someone hit him in the head with their helmet. Anyone would get a concussion on that.

He has some great talent around him. And he's probably pretty talented too, being the #1 overall pick. Rams are going to be tough. With Wade's defense, watch out for them.
