  1. he's a piece of work alright.
  2. sending thoughts and prayers
  3. i'll have nightmares now.
  4. maybe they both stink.
  5. I agree, but I don't think we should overlook the drop in quality of the line with Glenn out. It's a huge factor. I don't understand Vlad, I will give you that. Also keep in mind, we will likely have 4 new starters on the line next season, so I'm sure that may play into his thinking as well. He will want players that are better fits for what he likes to use.
  6. I didn't say that. You asked about his 'accolades'. I just mentioned part of his resume with the Eagles where he established himself as a quality Oline coach. I think Andy Reid is probably a top 3 HC of the last 20+ years, if someone is on his staff for 13 years, I would tend to think he is of high quality. I don't disagree with you that the coach needs to help fix this line, but I don't think he has a lot to work with. If Glenn returns , I think that goes a long was to improving the line play. Hopefully Dawkins or Henderson could help on the right side. And put Miller back at RG.
  7. Luck is great, but just had shoulder surgery, was expected to play this season, now it looks like he won't. It's probably pretty risky to trade for him now. Must have been something really wrong with the shoulder.
  8. 13 years coaching in Philly under Andy Reid. A great amount of success. Castillo has always been regarded as a very good line coach. It's not working here so far in part because we haven't had any tackles of any quality so far this year. RG is an issue as well. That's 3/5 of your oline. That's the issue.
  9. It's possible if you replace Glenn, KW, McCoy and possibly even Dareus with rookie contracts next season. Which , if they trade Glenn, is my guess as to the cap strategy.
  10. I don't know why a fan would care about the cap anyway. Seems like a waste of energy, but I guess that's what being a fan is all about.
  11. I don't think it's the 'pegula is cheap' thing, they just don't want big contracts during a transition. I understand it, but I don't like it while it's occurring.
  12. I would guess by next years opening day, nearly everyone on the team will have been acquired by the current administration. Maybe a handful from prior.
  13. If they end up trading Glenn, even Dareus, I don't think they are worrying about the cap hit. KW will be off the books next season, if they continue the purge of high contracts, McCoy will be gone, possibly TT. They'll have plenty of cap space to absorb 2 years of dead cap. With all the draft picks coming up, we'll have quite a few rookies on the team next season. Probably very little cap concern coming up.
  14. why wouldn't he start, if he's going to play.
  15. Me too. I wonder how much is injury concern and how much is trying to push him out the door, just like Dareus.
  16. All correct calls. Probably could have called on Crabtree again on the winning TD, he pushed off.
  17. I can't count that many on the roster. I care, but I also don't understand why they matched that contract. Is backup center that valuable compared to a starting guard. Shouldn't he have been practicing at guard, what the hell else is he doing .
  18. I just checked, 24 linked articles, 13 from the News, 11 are not. And many of the Buffalo News articles don't look very interesting.
  19. Thanks. I've been trying to make that point but nobody seems to want to hear my explanation. Similar to players saying they are not protesting to disrespect the military, but some people don't want to hear that either.
  20. and if you looked at my original statement - I didn't say anything about him. I mentioned my business only. Yes, it was linked to his statement. But I only referred to my business.
  21. I wasn't just referring to you. It's a common remark that people say other people would get fired if they did it. It's not true in all cases. That's my point. personally, since I pay no attention to the anthem, I don't care what they do.
  22. My point , that I mentioned earlier, is that people who say that anyone else would lose their jobs if they did this are wrong. I'm well aware of the differences between my business and the NFL. I stressed that that was the only point I was trying to make.
  23. they are not union, in my case. I just wouldn't care. Not that they would bother doing anything anyway.
  24. I can only speak to my situation, but I have young kids, homework, hockey, soccer.... lot's of stuff to do. It's not a priority unless it's the Bills. Also, I think fewer fans are being 'created'(?) and the viewer pool is less than it used to be. Skill level isn't too high. Lack of quality QB's kills the excitement level
  25. I could, but would see no reason to. That would be petty of me, in my opinion. I understand it's my business, my only point is to refute everyone that says, "anybody else would get fired if they did that at their job" . Not in this case.
