  1. and if you ignore Peterman's worst game, ignore Taylors. It's natural to look at Petermans bad game since it's his only start. I was making a joke, but it's a valid concern. 5 Int's in 1 half doesn't happen too often.
  2. Jairus Byrd- he was a dynamic player on the level of Ed Reed for most of his 5 years with the Bills. I thought he was on his way to a HOF career.
  3. you mean, less than 5 INT's in the first half? I agree.
  4. I think that's exactly what it is. If fans aren't interested in going to games, I think that's called lack of fan support.
  5. it's one article. Not the whole media.
  6. If I had to come up with 8 reasons why we started out well, these would be the 8. Excellent post.
  7. jesus christ, what did i just read here. Pretty much making this thread about an injured player all about you. You come off as a self centered prick that likes to hear himself talk using a football thread to get all your bitterness off you chest. Give us a break. And you'll be getting no thanks from me because you don't produce any of my meals.
  8. and you said 'doubtful at best' about bills fans wanting to hurt Patriot players.
  9. What do most fans want the Bills players to do to Gronk when we play them next?
  10. except for millions of dollars...which isn't all that bad a thing.
  11. Obviously both QB's are progressing very well and look to have great futures, but these are the #1 and #2 picks, no surprise that they are doing well. I think a big reason is that both players are surrounded by great talent. Strong lines, great running games and excellent receivers makes it much easier for QB's to have early success. I'm not so sure the 'development strategy' is the key or just having a lineup a excellent players at all positions.
  12. just like every other city in the country.
  13. November 1970 vs Boston Patriots
  14. But Bills fans are the best fans in the country- just ask any of them.
  15. what hasn't been working is having inferior personnel and coaching. There's a reason Webb plays special teams, remember our last QB that played ST- Joltin Joe Dufek. Just my opinion too. What has he done in his 8 years in the league to not dismiss him as a viable QB?
  16. that's not how you win. If the coaches feel Webb gives them the best chance to win , then he starts, that's not out of the box. If mcdermott feels that way, he will be the first coach since Webb started in 2010 to feel that way.
  17. Fine, but a warrior? What it really means is he is a special teams player, not really a QB. There's a reason Sunday was the first time he played QB since 2010. If you're not interested in winning, you are correct, there's nothing to lose.
  18. I don't get the warrior part, what do you mean?
  19. I wouldn't be surprised if he's gone. Besides a new QB, probably a few new on the O-line . Next season will be a bigger adjustment than this season, look for a mostly new front 7 on defense, that , with the change at QB will likely make for a tough year. If you're starting over on offense, probably doesn't make much sense to keep Shady, from management perspective.
  20. Jerry Butler worked out well. That's it though.
  21. I thought we would be in the playoffs just based on having better coaching than the Ryans. Our defense is still subpar, offense got much worse. Special teams did improve. The big concern I have is that there will a huge turnover again this off season and we will need to hit on most of the draft picks and whatever FA's we convince to come here. They seem to want their own players along with no big contracts. They are doing this breakdown over 2 seasons when it should be done right away. Just drags the process out longer.
  22. true, but the lack of sound judgement for initiating the challenge is an issue, correctable, but an issue.
  23. you're gonna have to do better than that. I agree with this, just not the example of hands to the face, which I think is in part to protect against injury, but your point is valid. I've been talking about special teams penalties in the same context, there should be a different standard for holding or illegal blocks on kick returns, because they are called constantly and it hurts the game. Too many teams start drives deep in their own zone, leads to more conservative play calling and less scoring.
