Have you ever put this data into a spread sheet? -
Penalties (or lack thereof)
Simon Says replied to Bills Pimpin''s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
two areas of improvement that I appreciate: 1. reducing stupid penalties and 2. looking like we know what we are doing on defense, and not waiting til the last second to know what the plan is. -

This will be a tough year for Bills fans and McDermott
Simon Says replied to gjv001's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think the term I read was "middling". The Bills have been able to maintain a "middling " level of success which keeps the fans hopeful, and fills the seats. I believe McDermott and Beane when they say they WANT to win this year, of course they want to. If they have faith, and "follow the process" maybe 9-7 will happen. it would take a near miracle to make the playoffs -
If necessary, can Brown return punts or kickoffs? I haven't heard his name much this summer

In the defense of Tyrod Taylor...
Simon Says replied to Do The Reich Thing's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just looked at the stats for the first two preseason games; have the Bills really run 147 plays in two games? And, THROWN the ball 100 times? Am I seeing that right? if so, they seem to be getting the reps in, but I expect them to RUN more this season. -
Sammy will be a free agent. If healthy get him back.
Simon Says replied to Cherrybone's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why would the Bills subject themselves to that? They dont have the best cap situation and depending on how he does this year, would cost 12,15,18 million a year. Why the hell would he ever come back to this area, where he has gotten so much crap on pages like this? if he signed a contract here in Buffalo, it would be constant complaining about him for the next however many years. -
Let's just hope we don't lose any more players to injuries and suspensions.

Can Austin aPsztor (Browns' FA) play on the left side? -
Who will be our outside WR?
Simon Says replied to USABuffaloFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Brandon Tate has decent receiving stats (65 catches, 15.7, 6 TDF's) from earlier in his career, and, the Bills seem to think Powell has potential. Ross only has 9 career receptions, but who knows? -
I have noticed little mention the salary cap considerations of these deals. This year, the Bills probably dont save much cap money, but I'm sure Watkins & Darby combined, make more than then Matthews & Gaines? The Watkins deal eliminates a potentially messy, expensive free agency negotiation, Watkins is making 4 million and it would have cost what, 12, to pick up the option and the franchise tag is 16? Somebody, if not the Rams will take a chance and pay Sammy. The Bills are probably looking at the cap situation for 2018 and beyond. Also; ideally, it makes sense to DRAFT WELL, maximize that production for the 4 year contract, then if necessary, trade the player or let them walk. Bills have 6 picks in the first three rounds and hopefully hit on half of them, if that might include trading up. This makes sense to me, but let's wait and and see.

Howmuch of a homendiscount are the Pats getting for Brady? He takes way less than market value,so Pats are extremely blessed..something else...rather than worry about spending 10,13 million on a a free agent Watkins "replacement"..wouldnt it be great to DRAFT one? Maximum prouction and be willing to let (some) guys walk after rookie deal

His numbers were ok his first two years. 99 catches, 13.8 avg, 7 or 8 TD's. I would take that production, depending on whether he is #3,4,5...Didn't play much for a couple years. Not targeted often in 2016, though he played all 16 games

Hernandez victims families suing the Patriots
Simon Says replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A civil case is much different than a criminal case and they have a year to put a case together. They might be claiming the Patriots still owe money to Hernandez (estate),which they could try to go for. -
His rushing stats are so-so but average 110 carries per year. Good receiver out of the backfield,50 catches a year. Would he get that many touches in Buffalo? Probably not til Shady moves on. Barely 24.
