  1. All of you who wanted Bills to consider him....imagine if this has happened in Buffalo. One more bad move in a horrible season
  2. Please do NOT ever post anything this long
  3. Be careful what you wish for..you really think Anderson ,and especially Barkley, would play better than Peterman vs. Jets? I think as soon as we get the word about Allen and Anderson being healthy, Barkley will be gone
  4. Why do you say they wont be able to spend "half of their available cap" in 2019? Based on what? No that hard to spend 90 million; can renegotiate your own players you want to keep...maybe take some dead cap hits by moving on from giyus like McCoy, Clay and Murphy if you want (all making about 9 million). Rather than gambling on risky, high-priced, elite, FA's, can really build some depth with that money. (Allen's dead cap hit is 12 or 13 the next couple years.)
  5. Tyrod had Glenn, Incognito and Wood, and , better receivers... still played 'conservative". Benched in Cleveland...he can only take a team so far in this age of wide- open passing game
  6. Speaking of arrogance.....you make a number of un-supported claims and assumptions. and made up the "MASSIVE tax". ...can you quantify that? We will see how free agency turns out. You might be under-estimating the value of the culture the Bills are building, and it might prove more attractive than you think. Beane likely will NOT over-pay and I expect them to mostly avoid higher-priced FA's, instead, focusing on building depth across the roster. Beane lkes to build thru the draft and retain best own free agents when possible it is subjective, but what is YOUR definition of "quality". 'Value" is more important, and there is a significant difference.
  7. it amazes me how people are calling for Beane's and McDermott's heads with the "I told you so" rant . The Pegulas bought into this process, and painful as it is, this is not unexpected. Their plan, they dont consult us. Why are we still talking about Taylor? Bills obviously thought he had limited upside and not worth the 18 million he would have cost them. The Wood and Incognito retirements would have affected Taylor as well, and I doubt he would have accomplished much with this inferior bunch. ; fans would be complaining about him scrambling all the time and not throwing downfield. He's gone, riding the bench, got little or no trade interest, so let's move on.
  8. "Bench Peterman"? He is only int there because of injuries to the other two QBs. I think he goes to the bench as soon as Anderson and/or Allen are health and we might never see Barkley play. Why invest much time in him,he could be gone soon
  9. I think 15 million was guranteed, potential of another 5 if active every game
  10. To all the fanboys who thought McCloud,Foster and Proehl would help this team,I say none of the three ever belonged on the 53. PS,fine, that's its purpose. I would love to see Beane pull off a trade for a WR
  11. Rumor that Oakland asking for a #1 pick..Beane will not do that, maybe a willing to part with a 3rd? He is under contract for this year , low salary, nearly 14 million next year which Bills can afford.I dont see the Bills trading Lawson; he has had some good moments this year. Why would anyone trade for Benjamin?
  12. Marlowe re-signed to the practice sqwuad so his fan-boys can calm down. Kerley hasnt even gotten an interview with a team, has he? That should tell you something
  13. I think this is a ridiculous question. Why the hell would you NOT want your team to make the playoffs? Losers and their fantasy that tanking is somehow a GOOD thing.
  14. How can you assume he will would be here for 15 years? Allen has somethign to say about that.
  15. You didnt mention any specifics, but, generally it can be to cover for an injured player. For example; a cornerback is injured and the team needs depth, but only until that injured player recovers. Since they didtn put that guy on injured reserve, t hey make roster moves to cover; i.e. when Lawson and Murphy were banged up they brought in Nate Orchard. Another scenario might be if they sign a player off another team's practice squad; they activate him temporarily. practice squad changes often, as a bufffer
  16. Other teams are smarter than you
  17. Streater hasn't done anything in Cleveland yet... the other 3 are still free agents, for good reason. Think bigger...these guys won't elevate the Bills offense
  18. Apparently Beane disagrees,so i dont expect to see them return. Maybe Kerley OMG ; has a team ever fired an OC just to sign a player? Certainly not someone of matthews caliber.. how do you know Matthews would even come to this dumpster fire? 5 snaps, no stats. Gee, maybe they will make him available again....
  19. Well, apparently you in 'tank' or 're-build" frame of mind. These guys are on practice squad for a reason. I dont see value in bring in more, young, unproven, mediocre, marginal players. We already have several players of that caliber on our 53.I would hope Beane will try to bring in some talent that can help NOW. We will have 10 or 11 picks next year and money to spend in free agency.
  20. Do you have the publication date? That would shed some light
  21. i dont think the Bills will bring in guys whos 'character" or 'attitude' they dont think will fit their culture. If Bryant is so great, why hasnt any team signed him? Because he overestimates his value? His personality, not to mention declining skills?
  22. Back to football, and its a moot point now that Berry has signed..but, the Bills didnt need a safety, they could use help elsewhere
  23. Excuse me for not keeping up with the immortal Tanner Gentry, but the Bears could activate him. I dont want the Bills adding unproven, marginal, mediocre players. They already have Foster and McCloud. If they make a move, make a REAL move
  24. We don't know what happened behind the scenes....Bills had a lot of cap decisions to make,we don't know what it would have taken to keep him. In their minds they might have had to to "over pay' to keep him.
  25. He quit; whining because he thinks he should get the ball more often;he just signed an extension a few weeks ago...he knows what the sytsem is...apparently he thinks they assume his injury is holding him back. he quit, i think his talent could help the Bills, but i dont think they approve of this
