  1. Interesting....some of you can find a spot for Teller,Neseche, Feliciano or Waddle,et al. Nobody mentions Bodine. Experienced starter at center (mediocre maybe, but experienced). Could play guard in a pinch. Long might be competing for a guard spot,Morse has injury concerns. Seems premature to write off Bodine
  2. Metcalf and Brown got most of the targets, and their 3rd WR might also get drafted. Knox will get used more in the NFL. Yes,only like 39 career receptions, but over 600 yards. 6-4,260,all around TE,good combine and film
  3. Age is a concern. A couple of these guys will have PS eligibility,if you dare expose them. Might be the end for FB in Dabolls offense? Trade McCoy? A lot can happen
  4. Cmon.dont post rumors without some kind of evidence,a link
  5. If Hockenson is taken by the Bills at 9,does all those wonderful things on offense...why would he be playing special teams?
  6. What kind of data, if any,did you analyze,to assert tight ends develop slowly? I think you are way off, although the study I read was a couple years old.
  7. But,15 or so have gone in the first round since 03
  8. Dawkins probably missed Incognito; had to play next to the likes of Ducasse and Teller. A new LG (Spain? Long?) and a new O Line coach should help dawkins his head straight. he is making less than a million per year to play LT, and is under contract for 2019 and 20. Why give up that kind of value?
  9. He was released by Raiders
  10. Bills often run with just 2 LBs. They signed Alexander, who might play some WLB,and Holder, who can line up at SLB (as can Hughes, I suppose)
  11. A decade...only if he re-signs
  12. Seems to be 15 impact players...so..I fantasize about trying to get two of them Those 7 picks in rounds 4 to 7 ,combined, equal perhaps ONE mid -second round pick
  13. So where is the trade value?
  14. Firt, you have no idea whether Fisher will become an adequate TE,. 2nd its just stupid to take a guy who started on O Line as a rookie, and try to move him to DL at this stage of his career. You ahve nothign to base that on.Doesn't matter what he did in high school, a lot of talented athletes played several positions at that level, but the NFL isnt high chool
  15. i didtn get what the other poster was thinking..Yeldon is probably not going to play ST. I get the Skipper connection..and the Bills can afford him.But what kind of opportunity is it for him? Bills have RB depth and I assume they will get what they can out of McCoy and Gore for one year. Would Yeldon be looking for a multi-year deal, accept he wont play much in 2019,and perhaps have inside track for the starting job 2020?
  16. I dont know that the Bills NEED ten draft picks, but its Beane's preferred method of building a team. Wouldnt be surprised if he traded down and even added FUTURE picks if it was ME I would consider moving down, and back into the lower part to the first round,. "Quality' not necessarily 'quantity' and would try to end up with 2 picks in the first, 2 in the second.
  17. Yeldon doesnt play special teams
  18. Picking up the option will cost ,what, 9 or 10 million? Could THAT salary hurt his trade value? Might get a hint of Beane's plan for Shaq as the draft unfolds. Another thougth is to NOT pick up the option and use it toward extending Hughes or another vet
  19. per the Old" draft pick chart, Bills 2nd + 3rd (720 points) = a later 1st (26-32),so yeah, Bills could afford it. At this point, with 70 guys already on the roster, 10 picks doesn't seem "necessary" but they have value; whether you keep them ,trade up,trade down, or trade for future picks. Speaking of Hockenson; some mocks have him going as early as #8...possible Bills miss out (assuming they want him) if they trade down?
  20. Like that you are aware of the options and various scenarios. After you make your pick in the 1st,how does that affect what you do in the 2nd,etc.
  21. Bills roster is at 71. 10 picks wont be any kind of problem...Got room for 10 on the practice squad. This free agent frenzy gives Bills depth, competition, versatility, special teams help, and,at least, fills all the holes with bodies. They improve the overall quality of the roster and Bills shouldnt have to reach or "over-draft".Morse is about the only one that wont be vulnerable to a drafted rookie : no big deal if any one of these guys sits on the bench gets cut, little risk o. Some questions and concerns:Fisher hoping to transition from T to TE...Gore is 36...no Probowlers signed...
  22. Beane has over 70 guys already signed, and holds 10 draft picks. A (developmental ) QB (Anderson wont be here much longer) and a Kicker (future replacement for Hauschka) would be "bold moves"...so would drafting a top running back.
  23. Nothing new to see here.... Bills now have more than 70 guys on the roster. 10 draft picks pending, and free agent rumors still surfacing...
  24. Posts like this are lowering the q
  25. Would cost 2nd and 3rd...with 10 picks, Id be tempted
