Good question. I can see a day with NO pre season games. Maybe 18 games; as many as 3 bye weeks; expanded rosters to further reduce wear & tear on players.

Elam is a first round pick in just the 2nd year of his rookie deal, adjusting to zone defense. Bills might adjust the scheme to fit and you end CB depth. He isn't going anywhere. The Bills need another RIGHT GUARD? A highly paid 33 year old right guard? If Beane could raise that kind of money, he would be better off investing in a right TACKLE.

First of all, its KOLB, not COLB. That's all I've got so far! Trubisky and Kyle Allen because their style pf play is similar to Josh's. The schedule is tough but with this roster, I think either could eke out 2 of 4 wins. If they had to play longer than that, the league would figure them out and the season would be sunk.

Calm down. Elam is still adjusting to zone coverage. As you said yourself, the CB attributes are there. And, you also said, this is a passing league. With offenses routinely using 3,4 wrs, why would the Bills trade a corner? They often take 2,3 years to develop.

They signed Shell and I belive Edwards has played tackle. Do the Bills have e enough cap space to sign a "decent tackle" or can they just afford another similar to what they ready have? Probably aren't any "decent" candidates at this time but Beane could go shopping after cutdowns.

Thanks,when I read the first mention of kicks, I assumed that was it. Sucks that Hines got hurt but the Bills have numerous return candidates. The new kickoff rule might soften the loss of Hines.

Could you be more specific than "kick returner "? Kickoff and punt returns are different and I'm curious about who the candidates are for each. Patmon returning kicks? Interesting as he is one of the Bills large receivers at about 6-4 220.
