  1. What "meeting" are you referring to? Are you saying there is a meeting today SPECIFICALLY to discuss the stadium?
  2. Brown and Tasker talked about this subject today. Used the Bills as an example but not a substantiated rumor. Is that where this comes from?
  3. Have to factor in the winter weather. But probably has to do with determining what to do with the existing structures on that land.
  4. Now that Keenum and Barkley have been signed...can we put the Fitz nonsense to bed once and for all?
  5. 2 corners and 2 receivers seems excessive, to say the least. Got to consider RB,LB S,Edge
  6. Check out Spotrac,Over The Cap etc .
  7. Well, you can make the same argument for ANY position if he is " good enough". This year I don't see the Bills draftinstart immediately. My philosophy is that ,unless its a QB, your 1st round pick should be able to start immediately. Bills have a number of Guards with starting experience; Saffold,Bates,Boettger, Ford... I don't have a problem drafting a guard at 25,but not this year.
  8. Not a running back in the 2nd round ,please. I think top 2 picks should be CB and WR and not necessarily in that order.
  9. I hope you heard by now that Bates is staying
  10. WHEW. I wonder how they plan to use him. Right guard or is Saffold willing to move there?
  11. I think they plan to keep the SEATS covered
  12. Perhaps they will be responsible for construction costs that exceed the budget.
  13. I think rookies cost a bit more than 3 million
  14. You guys understand the difference between "base salary" and "cap hit ",right? Giants gave him a signing bonus ,paid up front, but have to account for it over the life of the contract. The salary is about 13 and the amortized bonus is 8 per year. Team acquiring him does not take on the bonus, only the salary.
  15. Still have a kid named Griffin?
  16. With a salary cap, what do you mean "letting him and Beane spend"? Are you referring to paying bonuses up- front? It's the same amount of money overall. That can get you into a bad cap situation but Beane is keeping it under cmder control.
  17. OMG. For entertainment purposes only..worth as much as any football fan site
  18. Don't need to draft a RB a year before Singletary contract expires. A rookie can step in and replace him NEXT year. And maybe Bills think Stevenson steps up . Don't like this draft because I envision QBs killing us downfeld
  19. So,which one? I think Davis,McKenzie,Howard,Duke and possibly a rookie get a lot of those catches. Can't help but notice how he says Crowder "gonna catch a lot of balls" and then goes on to list all the other weapons. Not to mention the other young WRs and possibly a rookie in the mix. Maybe Crowder replaces Sanders' catches but not necessarily Beasley's.
  20. Or...Bills try to stash Barkley on the PS..
  21. I don't want to draft TWO guys early that are recovering from injuries. I dont see each Beane doing it ; he seems to be all in.
  22. With a little magic dust...
  23. Not past his prime. Only 28. Has been a part timer so he isnt worn down. Proven to be durable
  24. A lot of material to think about. Personnel moves will take into account the return job(s). If Bills think McKenzie and Steve son can handle it, then there isnt as much need for a "returner " at RB or WR. Could these 2, maybe Hodgins, fill the slot? I'm leaning toward a versatile WR like Oliver in the 1st.
