  1. now that Bills signed McGovern, do you still want to DRAFT 2 O Linemen?
  2. It didn't make McKenzie expendable LAST year. Bills have to fill a roster and have two dozen free agents to deal with. Why create MORE roster holes?
  3. A first round tight end? When you probably have to replace starters Edmunds and Poyer? And maybe add a power back and a wide receiver? Are you high?
  4. With restructures/ extensions possible for Allen, Miller, Dawkins, Miller, Morse,White, maybe even Hyde, and others...Bills can accomplish something in free agency.. Hold on to your hats!
  5. Which needs to change...
  6. I assume he meant TRADE
  7. No ...he is 34
  8. Send him back to his hometown of Houston....for their two, 3rd round picks.
  9. He has been mostly durable, and productive. I'm just not sure about signing the 33-year old version.
  10. Trading requires a trade partner and you can't assume there's a match for every player you want to dump. This year's draft is crucial and I expect a trade down or two. How about Oliver to Houston for both of their 3rd rounders? He might want to to go home and the Texans could use help on their DLine. What would be "unexpected" about those 4? I wonder about tax conseuences? I wonder about tax conseuences? I wonder about tax conseuences?
  11. If Beane doesn't restructure many contracts,we will see a lot of rookies and veteran minimum deals. Here's an opportunity for him to show what he can do.
  12. Well,he is a California native and might prefer warm weather
  13. That looks about right. Beane will have to rely on numerous "veterans minimum" deals and has to ace the draft. Wouldnt be surprised to see him trade down once or twice to to add picks. They will obviously restructure players that have proven ability, and production and will be part of the Bills plan moving forward. But I don't want to accumulate a crippling pile of dead cap dollars. Bills certainly are "banking" on significant salary cap increases
  14. Can't do much with 16 million. Almost half of that goes to draft picks.
  15. His base salary is 10.5 million which is what the Bills would pay him. When you hear "cap hit"; it means all salary and all bonus dollars, combined. Bills aren't responsible for bonus money that was paid up front but has to be accounted for and is spread across the length of the contract ("amortized"). Ando, if you trade Oliver that's just more cap trouble for the Titans. Are you paying attention? Thats why they are willing to trade Henry.
  16. You apparently ARE one to worry about this kind of stuff...
  17. No interest....he's 30 and had some recent injuries. Will probably still want to be paid well. But more importantly where does he fit in Bills defense? He has nominally been an OLB but in 3-4 defense. He cant do what Edmunds has done for the Bills D. so..no thanks.
  18. Assuming Edmunds leaves, and depending on what Bills can do in free agency, I dont have a problem with a top LB or possibly S at 27. I think TWO LBs will be needed, with one able to generate some pass rush. Beane is going to have to excel in the 2023 draft and that might mean trading down once or twice and accumulating picks.
  19. per trade value charts Bills would want somewhere around the 42nd to 46th pick in the second round. Plus a 3rd, or several 4th's
  20. Do you think the Edmunds Brothers try to team up? Buffalo? Pittsburgh? Or?
  21. His first contract will only be 4 years, with the possible 5th year. No guarantee he would be in Buffalo for a decade; free agency, injury, etc.
  22. So,now you will need at least TWO new receivers for 2023 ? Ridiculous ,and,as always, you can't assume a team will fall for YOUR proposed deal.
  23. How responsible is McDermott for the "composition of the team"? Isn't that Beane's job ?
