  1. If somehow the Bills could acquire Hopkins....I don't think the top 2 draft priorities are OL and DB.....would be MLB big hole there) and WR (still). Bills have signed 2 guards and supposedly re signed Quessenberry.
  2. He was All American as a Right Tackle in college so he has versatility
  3. Not necessarily " a lot" but concussions are tricky. I dont think he missed a game for the first few years. He played RT in college and the Bills DO like versatility.
  4. He started a lot of games in LA so he will complete for a starting job
  5. My question is...if, for example, you sign Wagner, why would you invest a high pick on another MLB, that would be sitting on the bench?
  6. Are you forgetting the Bills signed Kyle Allen? They aren't drafting a "backup quarterback " this year. Maybe an undrafted arm for camp. Forget the Hopkins fatasy; I just don't think Beane can raise much more money via restructures. Can't assume another team wants Oliver, but if you DO trade him,you create another roster hole. And....if you SIGN WAGNER fine, for THIS year. But then, where would you DRAFT the eventual MLB? Would you wait until next year?
  7. It is possible this move was in the works BEFORE Holcomb got hired. Maybe they will let Frazier keep his DC title to save face, and Holcomb can work under HIS title.
  8. McGovern didn't get THAT big a contract and how much of an improvement is he, really? Bills Re-signed Quessenberry, the "late bloomer"....yawn. I wonder what Boettger looks like this year, and do they expect Brown to take a big step?
  9. What FA tackles are out there ?
  10. I noted that the free agent signings are relatively young vets that should have no problem fulfilling their contracts. Is this a bit of a departure for Beane?
  11. Beane is filling holes and building depth in the roster.. so he doesn't have to 'reach" in the draft . Have to get to 90 for camp.
  12. Not only would Bills have to give up draft pick (s) for Hopkins, they would be on the hook for nearly 20 million this year, and 15 in 2024. At this point Buffalo has cap space to pay their draft picks and practice squad. And a couple cheap free agents.
  13. Those are logical targets, except for the players that already signed. Hooper intrigues me,if he is willing to work cheap and share targets with Knox. I was wondering about WR Demarcus Robinson.
  14. No,I think they still need a tackle, wide receiver, possibly depth at tight end and interior OLine.
  15. Dude. Could you have posted this in several volumes? Or maybe used a link?
  16. OP possibly assumes Barkley moves to practice squad, which doesnt exist, yet
  17. Bills won't carry only 7 OL. More like 8 or 9.
  18. Bills have run a 2 LB set with Milano and Edmunds and Edmunds was not a tradiotnal "middle linebacker ". Will the Bills adjust their scheme or look for a replacement that can do what Edmunds did? Is that Campbell?
  19. Beane doesn't have the 12 million To pay Cooks' salary
  20. I dont think Mayden has ever been active, and none of his salary is guaranteed. He hasn't secured a roster spot yet. Just curious; why do you assume all 6 picks make the 53? Bills could add vets on minimum salaries.
  21. I dont think Mayden has ever been active, and none of his salary is guaranteed. He hasn't secured a roster spot yet.
  22. OMG 25th ranked LB to replace Edmunds? Isn't he more of an "edge "? I think he was charged with assault at the last game of the season
  23. Where did you see he was the fastest guy on the team? Not even close. Ran a 4.56 at the combine. I saw an article last year listing the top 5 and pretty sure he wasn't named. Jones,McKenzie,Diggs, John Brown and I'm blanking on the other .
  24. Probably a relatively high asking price and decent guards have been signing for less than he might be asking. Also injury concerns: knee and Lisfranc. Teams being cautious.
  25. Have you ever heard him talk? Are you serious?
