    Where would he play? You think he wants to come to Buffalo to sit on the bench? Post-draft maybe a better opportunity is available Maybe those are among the reasons RAPP was signed. I think FA safeties were disappointed in their market this year

    Do you really believe that? If he was mad about not getting HC opportunities, why walk out on the Bills? Taking the year off hurts his chance of ever getting a head coaching gig. If its a not a health issued, he should honor his contract.

    So; you would bench one of the WR in favor of Kincaid, or Mayer? They certainly aren't replacing Knox. Think about what you are saying; you wouldn't use a slot WR? You would run 2TE / 2 WR sets?

    Was Kelly even aware that Bills had signed Harris? No offense to Jim but he hasnt played in over 25 years and the game is different. Look at recent playoff teams; how many had a "star running back"?

    Kelly played with a good OC, OLine, TEs, and pretty good defenders. It was good fortune of everything coming together, not just one great player at one position.

    Are you saying this is about the #27 pick? Does the TE you choose at 27 have a first-round value? Who; Mayer or Kincaid? The question assumes you want to draft both a TE and a WR, so to answer this you have to look at the value of each position at 59. Are you stating that the need for TE and WR is higher than the need for a middle linebacker, or tackle, etc.?

    o, add a safety NEXT year if you ae worried about depth. Don't forget the PLAYER'S PERSPECTIVE. What if HE sees all these names on the roster and wonders where he fits? Assuming the BILLS even want to talk to him.

    How many safeties do you need? Bills have Poyer, Hyde Rapp, Hamlin ,Anderson, Mayden. Talk of Benford , Neal and Lewis maybe playing some safety.

    Have you noticed what might be a trend with the Bills free agent signings so far? Young FAs signing their second NFL contract. What do you think he would cost? Beane likely will only pay close to minimum so as not to ness up the comp picks

    Is he appreciably better than ,Brown, Doyle, Quessenberry? Would Bills still DRAFT a RT? If he suspected that, would it turn him off to signing ? Oh....recently signed guard Edwards was a pretty good RT in college.

    Nice guys fade into the sunset. Being away from the NFL for a season will severely limit Frazier's opportunities.

    The in-game adjustments,or lack thereof, were disappointing at times. And I'm sure Sean spoke with Frazier at halftime if there was something he didn't like.

    Can anyone explain Frazier’s one-year 'sabbatical"? I believe he was pressured and likely getting his full salary. Does it sound like McDermott was 100% satisfied with the defense during the playoffs?

    I'm wondering what defensive clues we get from the draft. Jack Campbell LOOKS like Edmunds and seems to have strong leadership traits, recognition skills, making defensive calls,etc. If Bills pick him,I would expect the alignment to remain similar to what we have seen. But if they select Sanders,or Nolan Smith,or possibly even Simpson? That might signal a change?

    Yes,thanks I saw this. The most in depth analysis I have seen. Not so much a "schematic" change but more about "style, attitude,violence,and aggression". Hopefully optimizing defensive personnel. Do you expect more blitzing,especially if Miller is out?

    "Aggressive " is the consensus I've seen so far. I don't remember if he used many exotic looks in Carolina.

    With Frazier semi-retired and McD calling the defense...how much different will it look? Less Nickel? Taron Johnson playing some safety? Rapp playing a big nickel, in a three-safety lineup? 4-3 scheme,with a more traditional "middle" linebacker ? I suppose the draft will shed some light.
