  1. I got BBFS bad... I wasn't comfortable till Shady's bug run and score. I can't help it. I've seen this team literally invent ways to lose. However, this team does feel different. They play hard. They seem well coached. You can feel them believing more and more each week. It's making me want to believe. Everything tells me, we should come crashing back to reality, but man it's fun seeing this team come together. I'm enjoying the hell out of this ride. One more win now! Let's keep this rolling. Go Bills!!
  2. I was gonna post and say something about what a good game and... I forget. What?
  3. That play was awesome! And the way the team celebrated it even better. I'm not sure why they all seemed so happy for him...but it was awesome to see!
  4. That sentiment pretty well sums up my thoughts. The Bills have not been winning consistently with any of these guys, so I'm not too upset to see ..any.. of them go. However.... It would have been nice to get something in return for Dareus. A 6th round pick is about a half a step away from just cutting him out right. But, you take the deal you can. And if anyone has been watching the games lately, and looking at his play, it's quite apparent that he's been mailing it in. I found it funny that McD would have to actually say in a press conference that Dareus had a good practice that day. I mean that's how far his motivation and play had fallen.... They had to try to pump his ego in the smallest of ways. Normally, I don't like in season trades and moves like this. Because for whatever was going on, the Bills were winning more than losing. So normally I'd want to keep that train rolling. Like all trades and deals, this will all be judged in time. But, for now, I find it hard to believe that people really think he was giving his full effort every week on the field and has significantly helped the team in any way get to 4-2.
  5. Maybe all team's fans do this... But Bills' fans definitely do it... And that is succumb to the grass is always greener elsewhere ideaolgy. We been doing it for as long as I can remember. Remember the Flutie/Johson era? All we needed was to dump statue Bledsoe for a more mobile QB and we'd definitely get at least 2 more wins per year. Heck, how many people were actually calling for to start over Kelly back in 91/92? Tyrod is a good QB. He may not be HOF caliber, but that doesn't diminish the fact that he's a solid, good QB that does more good than bad on the field. We should definitely keep drafting young QBs to find the next guy, but don't be so quick to rush Tyrod out of town. Because I can almost guarantee you that the next guy is not gonna be any better for quite some time, if ever. I just recalled a good friend of mine that's a life long Broncos fan. Man did he hate Manning's rag arm those last two seasons. All he wanted was a new QB, any QB, and they'd be better. Well.... look at the Broncos now. The grass is not always greener. Tyrod may not be the best QB in the league, but he's easily the best QB we've had in more than 2 decades. We shouldn't be so quick to run him out of town. i agree with the bolded part. Definitely should draft someone, but let's develop a he next guy properly and not rush anyone onto the field. We don't need to.
  6. Not to single your post out... But I repeatedly see this sentiment throughout the board. I think a lot of people are getting a little too hyped for this epic draft we're going to have. We're going to package picks to trade up and get the long awaited franchise QB, draft a stud WR, all star new DT, a couple starting LBs, CB, and depth on the lines and secondary . It's getting a little unrealistic, if you ask me.
  7. I don't have a facebook. So... Nope.
  8. Excellent write up and review, as always. I enjoy the read and your take each week. Thank you. 2. I hate to even post about Tyrod due to all the incessant derailing, but I agree with you. I think he's good enough to win us plenty of games and keep us competitive for a couple years. But I can't help but think he's one of those guys that does just enough to look good, but never enough to elevate the team to a championship, ala Romo (sorry I just derailed the whole thread!). I'm happy he's on the team; wish him well; and hopeful he can get us further than I imagine. And look forward to the Bills drafting ..and developing.. a franchise QB for decades to come. 5. I actually got choked up watching that. For all the "tankers" that want better draft picks... Go tell Kyle Williams he needs to lose on purpose so the team can get better. I dare you. That guy is all heart! 7. That end of half play was ...pathetic. I'll chalk it up to a young HC learning and making mistakes. We all do. But it's called situational football. The coaches not only need to be aware of it, remind the players of it, but also practice in these situations. It's precisely these types of situations, this lack of execution by all involved, the missed points; that separate the playoff teams from the good teams. 8. White can straight up play! I hope he can continue it into January. Yes, it was a great game and a win we needed to finish out to stay pace with the afc. For those who wanted great, dominant wins every week, the NFL is not designed to give us that anymore. You take wins where you can get them. And this was a good, hard fought win that I'll gladly take! 4-2 is soooooo much better than 3-3.
  9. Does Al and this broadcasting crew realize that no one gives a crap about last year's Super Bowl. Give it a rest already.
  10. It would be completely stupid to trade a franchise Left Tackle, that appears to have zero attitude issues and has few lingering health issues. Dareus on the other hand..... seems to be playing just well enough to not completely suck.
  11. I wasn't confident until the final tackle... And even then I paused to double check for a penalty flag. Being a Bills' fan is not for the faint of heart! LOL
  12. I must admit... I thought it was too. It just looked like a game that we should absolutely win, yet did everything possible to lose it. And then.. Bam... Tyrod hits that big throw and the while team game alive. It takes a lot to change the culture of a team. ...and a fan base. But do I dare believe that this team is changing their fate?
  13. I was going to say... Relocation/moving. But then, that's the team quitting on us fans. I'd still be a fan of the Buffalo Bills, I just wouldn't have anything to cheer any more. But, players, coaches, losing, winning, all that crap comes and goes. I have endured and will continue to endure that until I'm dead.
  14. Personally, I don't like the red zone channel. I want to watch a game, not a disconnected series of plays and highlights. I like the strategy, seeing the alignments, feeling the flow of the game. But, maybe this is a large part of the issue. Today's kids ....yeah.. I'm old enough to say that now ...don't seem to have the ability to concentrate on a single 3+ hour game.
  15. Over saturation is a big part of it. MNF used to be the single, nation wide, primetime game. Now you got them every other day of the week it seems. Add to it the over saturation of certain teams always getting the primetime spots, and it another big who cares. Why is it the Bills never get a prime time game?? I know they suck, but are thet really that bad compared to the Titans or any of these other crappy teams they try to make us watch. Add in the league being able to make a phone call and stripping points off the board when ever they seem to feel like it and its just hard to get too excited about games any more.
  16. And yet they still won the Super Bowl. And 4 game suspension after getting caught cheating during a game. Players get more suspension time for off the field bar fights. I agree the league is incompetent and stupid with their rules. The fact that ...no one... knows what a catch is any more is all you need to look at. However, its more than just coincidental that a small few teams, with New England's team being at the top of the list, benefit more frequently and at more critical junctures in the game than the lesser hyped teams.
  17. I see the type of play going on around the league and think we can definitely hang with any team. I think, if we can just field some NFL caliber WRs, we could definitely have a playoff game (might could even do it if the coaches would scrap this zone block crap and let Tyrod run more). But... Then I see the league call down from New York, take points off the board, and give the ball to the opposing team. And I think... What does it matter? The league clearly has their favorites and they clearly will do whatever they want to make sure certain teams win. And that is why it's getting harder to be a fan and watch these games. You get excited thinking you're watching an upset happening, watching a good game, and the league reminds you that nope.. We're not gonna let our favorite teams lose.
  18. Now it makes sense! None of the Bills wins can be good ones now...ergo we suck and should stop even trying.
  19. Surely you jest. Everyone knows... If we beat the Chiefs, then the Chiefs obviously aren't a very good team and clearly suck as well. It's a fact...the Bills never beat good teams, nor do half of their wins really count because they didn't win the right way.
  20. They aren't in sole possession of first place. The Bills are on a bye. So, just like your favorite team they still have 2 losses. Hence, we still share the division lead with them. Furthermore, I would add that the Bills were in first place after week 1. So it's your favorite team that has had to keep winning each week just to keep pace with the Bills. There's still a lot of football to be played. Who know where the teams will end up. But.... Can we try to enjoy the season rather than writing the Bills off while they share the division lead?
  21. You absolutely cannot discount the cheating culture and extreme favoritism that team receives from the league. They are quite literally gifted several wins each and every year due to highly questionable calls. Today was a case in point.
  22. Watching this Jets game just reminds me why watching football has become so difficult: First, we haven' had a WR is decades that could actually catch poorly thrown balls. I see receivers all the time catch poorly thrown balls and bail out their QB... Except in Buffalo. It's frustrating. Second, the refs are so clearly in the back pocket of the Patsies, and perhaps most big market teams. How many times does the underdog team do something good only to gave it called back because of a ticky tack penalty? It's become so blatant over the years, you just expect it. Edit.... Switching to Packers game - apparently you can't block defenseless defenders any more? WTF.
  23. The refs will always make sure the they're in it till the end.
  24. Touchdown Jets. I'm having second thoughts about McCown! Lol
