  1. I think it also important to note... the Steelers pretty much had a playoff berth on the line as well. They were in that all to familiar position of needing to win 2 of the last 3 and have a few teams help them. They needed last night's game. At home, riding a win streak, tough game against the Ravens to end the season. This was a game they needed! And we went into their house and won. How many past Bills teams would have done that? In prime time no less. The culture has changed. The Bills don't lay down for anyone. I agree. The drought is now officially done!! The 2nd playoff appearance in 3 years, proves the first time was not a fluke. And this time, the Bills took control of their destiny; won the games they had to; and made it with 2 weeks to spare. The culture has changed. Winning football is expected and accomplished. From the owners to the front office and coaches... they've done what we've been waiting forever for. It feels pretty damn good.
  2. It's been 20 years since we've seen a season like this. 20 years. The feeling was nearly indescribable when they got the 1st game winning interception. Then the panic set it when they ran 30seconds off the clock and I realized they were giving the ball back. I just knew a Billsy end was about to happen. Then... the 2nd game winning interception happened!!! This team is different. This team is doing what we haven't seen in ..decades. This team makes me wanna shout! This team just punched their play off tickets..early! Enjoy it Bills' fans. We've all earned it. ***** yeah!!! Let's go!!!! Go Bills!
  3. I've forgotten how late the Sunday night game is! I haven't seen a Sunday (or Monday) night game in years. Cause ya know... who cares about most of the teams they always put on. But damn.. this wait is killin me! Can we just get this thing started already!! Go Bills!!
  4. It's apparent. Brady's arm is in big decline. He's forcing it on most throws. Hence the once easy throws are off. We saw the same thing wth Manning and Favre. At some point, especially late in the season, the throws just aren't there. That's why they're stealing teams offensive signals now. They need the defense to carry them.
  5. Its funnny. When the Bills and the cheating team had similar records with an similarly easy schedule. They were considered sooo much better. Becuase, ya know, they've proven they're a good team and they earned the right to be called good. The Bills had not. Well know... With yet another cheating allegation, people say wait to see the evidence. How do you know it was that bad? I say. They've proven they're a cheating team and they earned that reputation. They have to prove that this was nothing and not a continued escalation of what they were fined for over a decade ago. They don't deserve the benefit of the doubt here. Every record, accomplishment and streak is suspect. Because... They earned that suspicion.
  6. Would it have to sound like a deranged dinosaur? Wtf was that?
  7. Why don't we start ..openly.. recording them in every game they play. Have some knock on the locker room door and ask if they can come in. Have a guy juar roam their side line during games. Every day in practice fly a helicopter over the field. Stupid *****.. But just ***** with them.
  8. If they lose this week... And the Bills win. We're palying them for the Division title in 2 weeks. Seems like beating that team at the bittom of the league is pretty important. The more important question is... Why would a team with the greatest coach and QB of all time, with the best defense in the league, need to doing anything like this? Only rational answer.. They need these advantages to get 10+ wins ever season and be considered the greatest.
  9. I absolutely hate the line of thinking that... Well.. Everyone should be cheating. Or that teams should have counter measures in place to safeguard against their cheating. Why do we have any rules at all?? No! One team is the problem. Everyone does not do this. Everyone else should not be forced to compensate while one team does this. The guilty party needs to be sanctioned and stopped, period. Bar them from any post season play for 3 or more years and dismantle their current program. They are still cheating, they've always cheated. No small fine or loss of a draft pick is going to stop them. Here we all are... Hoping the Bengals some how win on Sunday and then we beat the Steelers so that we have a ..chance.. at the division and home playoff games. And how will we all feel when the Bengals lose?? And we don't get home palyoff games, even if we win out? Will it be because one team was just better than us? Or will it be becuase they cheated and gained unfair advantages all season? How many of their 10wins this year are because they cheated? How many of their wins were because they had an unfair knowledge of the other team? Maybe their defense isn't as dominating when they don't know the other team's plays/signals/whatever? Bottomline... We don't know how good they are because we don't know how extensively they have been cheating. But we do know that the Bills' chance of getting a home playoff game, let alone a real chance at the Super Bowl is diminished because they play in a division where one of the teams cheats week in and week out.
  10. Here's my take... everyone says this is a "low level gain". That they don't get anything really useful from it. That they're such a great team they don't need to do this, especially when facing a 1 win team. But... consider the alternative. They actually get a lot of useful information. So much so that the only reason they're such a good team is they've been cheating and using this information for more than a decade. Take away the video tapes, the signal stealing, the headset communications, the audio in visitors locker rooms, the deflated balls, and lord only knows what else... and maybe none of their players or coaches, including Brady and Belicheck, are the greatest of all time. They're just a bunch of people that have lied, cheated, and swindled the league. Take away the systemic cheating and my guess is they're all worse than average and Brady and company would be lucky to win one Super Bowl.
  11. Forfeiture of the remaining games this season. Then similar to college, no postseason play for a couple years. They are a long time, repeatedly cheating franchise. Something serious needs to be done. Any one saying it's not that big a deal has to explain why they keep doing it time after time, knowing they shouldn't.
  12. I've been waiting for more than a decade for the Bills to just look like a professionial football team. They didn't win today. But it was a close game. And they ..do.. look like a legit team. Allen needs to keep learning and growing. We need a WR to be a true #1 and catch tough, contested balls. And an offensive line that can handle a blitz. We'll get there. But for now, the Bills are a real team. They're on the rise. I'm disappointed with a loss, but not totally down on them.
  13. Absolutely! Its a must win game. Probably the most important game of the decadae. Until the following week when the next game will be the most important game of the year.
  14. Agreed. His down field accuracy is completely off the charts bad. I don't even get it.
  15. Given the lack of time Allen had all afternoon to let receivers make moves, I can't completely blame him for not wanting to wait. ? It was a quick decision. Personally I'm glad he went for the score. I just don't think the WRs were helping him much. I was saying on the 3rd down he shoulda just ran a QB draw. I had no faith someone would catch any pass.
  16. Here's my issue with these types of screen caps... you're saying he didn't see the guy underneath. But he's clearly set and aboutto throw. To make a better judgment on what he saw/or missed. What did that guy look like a second or two prior to the screen capture?? And did he have an ange to see him with everyone up front. Finally.. I'm not so sure the Raven defender knocked the ball away. I think it went right by him.l and his arm swipe distracted Brown. The throw was right on the money. Brown just needs to fight through the defender and catch it.
  17. Complete inability to handle the blitz nearly got Allen killed. And once again...drops... of balls literally hitting receivers on their hands. We need a way to counter the blitz. And we need receivers that step up and catch the ball when he game is on the line.
  18. The difference so far... our guys drop the ball at critical times. The ravens guys... don't.
  19. I am sooooooooo friggin glad it played out the way it did! As others have said, I think we got the guy that's the perfect fit for our team. I think that's an important aspect some people neglect. You don't necessarily need the best talent.. but you need the best fit that has talent. Josh was the right guy for the team they want to build. And yes, LJ may get "figured out" and become passé in a year or two. The same can be said for Josh. But that's on them to continue improving at their craft and eliminate their weaknesses. I have confidence Josh is trying (and our coaching staff is doing their part) to do just that. I don't watch enough of the Ravens to know now Lamar is doing with that.
  20. That's actually a bit incredible at this point in the season.
  21. Exactly. Why is this concept so lost on so many people? You play to win the game...not the first quarter.
  22. We all need to embrace Flutie this week. Buy the cereal, support his charity! Do whatever it takes to break the Flutie curse. Even if you don't believe in the curse... Why take the chance?
  23. It's all good... I agree we don't need to keep beating this horse. It sounds more like a semantics disagreement at this point. ? We'll know more after this Sunday.
  24. We definitely will disagree on this. It was a great win that showed more than this team is for real. It showed this is not the same Bills team that the world has seen for this entire millennium. They are no longer pushovers and we have stars of our own coming into their own.
  25. The thing about the Dallas game... For nearly 2 decades that's when the Bills would come out flat, lose in some spectacular fashion, and then we'd watch the wheels fall off the wagons for the rest of the season. How many times have we seen the Bills get a few wins, have a good W/L record, finally get a little respect, and then go into a much hyped game... Only to blow it? This time.. They didn't blow it. They won convincingly. On a National stage, on the road, against a good team... They did the least Billsy thing possible. They kicked Dallas' ass and sent the team and coaches to the locker room crying and screaming. And despite the Cowboys mediocre record.. They were a good team. They have legit star players. The #1 ranked offense. And they were playing for their careers and playoff lives. We ..beat.. a good team that ..needed.. that win. That is why that that game and that win is so important and noteworthy. If we beat DAL, BAL, PIT, and NE... Then the universe as we know has been altered and I'm living in an alternate reality where all things are possible! LOL. And, we definitely should be and will be considered Super Bowl contenders!
