  1. They need to stop with the heavy rotation. None of the players, especially the RBs, can get a feel for the game and what the opposing players are doing. Hence, we never see a RB get comfortable and make good back side cuts. It doesn’t help that the offensive line is slow and unable to execute any basic blocking scheme. But overall I think the coaches take the rotation of players, so that we have fresh legs, to the extreme. And very few players can get into a rhythm and even consider taking a game over.
  2. This is what I see every week. No one steps up and makes a play other than Allen. There are times when you need the RB or receiver to just do something extraordinary and break a long run. We never seem to get that. I would add the offensive line needs a complete overhaul. Start with the center and both guards. They simply can’t run block and more often than not are completely run over when they need to pass block.
  3. Am I the only one that feels like the Bills as a team just wakes up late and runs out of time? They’re easily the better team, week in and week out. But they don’t get the win because they sleep walk though half the game... give up a huge play or two and just never recover. We definitely outplayed the Pats tonight. But got the loss. I don’t know what it is... but this team seems ...off. They’re missing something. How do you let a team that’s thrown 1 pass ...run that effectively against you? Half the defense should just quit playing football.... they were a disgrace. Edmonds ..should be done.
  4. Ok. Yeah. The wind and weather is ridiculous! Gonna be an interesting game.
  5. Serious question ...is there a lineman in the entire league that would look competent when going against the best defensive line ever assembled ?
  6. TV Execs want Pats / Bucs SuperBowl ? I suddenly expect a horribly officiated game.
  7. Done. Lol. Not to put you on the spot.
  8. We’ve all said this.. thought this.. several times this season. The real question is... will Dabol stick to the run game and make them defend it for 4 quarters (or maybe it’s Josh switching to all the pass plays at the line?). My biggest concern with this game is Dabs and his penchant to prove how smart he is by dialing up all sorts of slow developing pass route concepts. The game plan against BB defenses is fairly simple... run the ball, have plenty of short, quick pass plays ready to go to counter the exotic blitzes, be patient, and strike with intermediate range passes when the safeties are crowding the line.
  9. And back in the long ago we had the easiest schedule to finish season and we’re thinking #1 seed. Now... maybe we can get a wildcard spot. Wow what’s downturn.
  10. Ok. Yeah. That drive is exhibit 1 in the league controlling the outcome of games via the Refs
  11. How does signing a malcontent WR help the Bills run more than 9 times a game?
  12. This was the type of game you’ll watch and when it’s over you'll have a look of disgust on your face and think to yourself “I still want to watch the Bills play a football game.” yeah, it’s that bad.
  13. I think this sums up the offensive issues perfectly. The Bills Offense has been figured out and they’re just not adjusting. Maybe it’s stubbornness? Maybe they just don’t have the horses up front to do it? I think it’s more to do with the former. There are ways to game plan around a weak offensive line. Teams do it. Problem is... we’re not. The pass plays take too long to develop and the running plays are right into the teeth of the defense. They better figure something out fast. Because they’re going to see this over and over again. The Jets can certainly do what the Jags just did. And I’m afraid belicheck is going to hand them a massive humiliation in 2 weeks.
  14. Perfectly exemplifies what’s wrong with the world now. I have a preconceived feeling or thought in my head. Excuse me, but here’s data to show that your view is not factually correct. Forget the data and stats, I already know the answer. And it’s what’s in my head and derived solely from the way I feel.
  15. But the Refs don’t have an agenda? That is the most egregious hands the the face penalty you’ll ever see and a ref has a clear line of sight to it. Thank you for the screen capture. I knew it had to be bad when I saw the helmet go flying. But wow.
  16. Yes. Same goes for most any player. But in the era of fantasy football, everyone is an armchair GM that thinks you can plug and play people into new systems with zero loss of production and no affect on team morale because they’re all professionals.
  17. The Bills would not have gone to 4 consecutive Super Bowls without Frank Reich or Kenneth Davis on the team. A sold back up to every position is essential, especially in a 17 game seasons. Only reason I would even answer the phone would be if the voicemail said we have a first round pick we don’t really want.
  18. This is what I was wondering yesterday. How often does a team sweep their division? ...in 2 consecutive seasons? All teams in the NFL have the ability to win a couple games. So it’s going to be tough to beat the Pats twice. That’s for certain. Yeah, this team can and may need to, but it’s a tall order! And certainly just shouldn’t be expected based on the team’s records.
  19. This was a stressful game for nearly 2/3 of it. I went from ...frustration at the Refs for always seeming to call the slightest infractions against us, but only calling the most obvious of penalties on the opposition ..to frustration at the offensive play calling. But, even before the first half ended, on the nice drive by MIA that end in the fumble... I realized it was more frustration within myself at wanting to see the Bills execute flawless. I never really felt the game was in doubt. I knew Josh and the Offense just needed one more series to figure it out. I guess that’s where I am now as a fan. I’m in a comfortable spot, always expecting Josh to put together a nice drive and score. I don’t think we’re out in any game. We won’t win them all, but we’re always one series away from taking control of the game.
  20. In all seriousness... what does the league and the Refs have against Buffalo? There hasn’t been a game all season where we don’t get every ticky tack call against us.
  21. This ...and getting cute with the overall game plans, benching guys and playing guys that haven’t been active in weeks. These guys aren’t interchangeable puzzle pieces. They’re human beings that play with emotion, passion and get into a rhythm. Pick your best players, your best plays and execute better than the other guy.
  22. All that’s left for me is to see them crush our enemies, see them driven before us, and hear the lamentation of their women!
  23. That’s how the game ended to me... rushed. I get wanting to snap the ball before the defense can think. But in that situation... one play is all you have. Call the time out, catch your breath and run the play. I’m gonna have to rewatch the game just to see what exactly I missed! I still say kick the FG and take your chances in OT. I know we hadn’t stopped them all 2nd half, but that gives you the best odds at winning.
  24. This has big one of my biggest concerns with our coaching staff. They can come up with great game plans. But then sometimes, they don’t! The issue is, when they don’t, they’re extremely slow to adjust, if at all. Quite clearly the defensive game plan wasn’t working last night and they seemed unwilling to change things up. Another issue, for me, is that they seem to love their situational players to an extreme. Benching 2 DLinemem that have been consistent and playing well for players that haven’t is the definition of over thinking it. Sometimes I wish they’d just line up and play who has been producing rather than pulling the hidden ringer off the bench. it’s all great when it works, but when it doesn’t it makes the second guessing go into overdrive! Lol No... you’re not. I don’t wanna start bashing the Refs again, but they miss more holds of Bills players than seems reasonable. Heck, Jerry Hughs could probably get a rope tied around him and dragged down and they wouldn’t call it. The league hates him.
  25. Kick the FG every time in that situation!!
