  1. I agree. Bye Bye Nate. You want to much and we can spend our $30mill on better players elsewhere and be a stronger team.
  2. If you think the number of sacks is the only measure of an O Lines success, you're lost.
  3. Entirely too many!
  4. MAybe they sold their IT on EBay
  5. Amen. picking another QB high in the draft, shows a complete and total lack of knowledge regarding what's wrong with this team.

  7. During the 4th quarter, my sister and I were trying to find ways to convince ourselves that paying for the NFL Sunday Ticket was a good idea. Most of our reasons didn't have to do with seeing Buffalo play, unfortunately.
  8. Josh Reed?
  9. God Bless you, my friend.
  10. Yes. Although I'd probably add Reed to the list. As another post is pointing out.
  11. IMO, he's the only guy that looks like he wants to win at this point.
  12. You're telling me that Clements is the best FA player in the entire NFL and that no one else is there to be hired that could help this team? That only by keeping Clements at whatever the cost, will we ever hope to improve? Please, you're dillusional. Look, I agree with you Nate is a good player and we should re-sign him if possible. But, the question is... at what price. Do you spend $7mill+ on 1 CB or do you take that money and spread it around on new linemen? If nate takes a pay cut, I'm all for it. If he still want top 5 money, he should be gone. Period.
  13. I'd place this lost on the team and the coaches - as a whole this team sucked it up. Not a single unit played well. You can try all you want to single out a player here or there, but lets face, no one did a thing worth while. The coaches once again looked unprepared and tried gimmicks. The team looks flat and out of place. Call it bad players, bad coaches, bad schemes; but this team is looking worse and worse each week. All I can say is the off week came at a perfect time. I really don't know if I could take another week of this kind of performance.
  14. It's plain and simple... this team is bad in every way. One player either way is not going to put us over the top. With that being said, anyone can leave and we won't be losing much. If Clements wants to stay a Bill, he better be willing to take a significant pay cut. Because putting that much money in one CB is a bad move when we need to sign an entirely new offensive and defnesive line.
  15. Whoever called the direct snap to Reed in the 1st quarter should be fired. My only hope with this team right now, is that I never see such a horrendously stupid play again.
  16. once again the Bills are leading in all the stats except the ones that matter.... turnovers, 3rd downs, and points. Imagine that. It's almost as like other teams just toy with us. Whenever they want, they just flip the switch and get the turnover or the 1st down.
  17. I know I shouldn't be.... but I'm really looking forward to this game tomorrow. Perhaps I have a perverse side of me that the Bills somehow fill.
  18. I agree. As I've told many a person... if given the choice, I'd take supporting a team like Buffalo that went to 4 consecutive Superbowls and never won... over a team like Baltimore (or TB) that went to 1 and won it, but has never done anything since. Sure, it would have been great to win one; but if we could have won XXV and then never go again... nope, I take losing and returning every year and in the process being THE team to beat for all those years. That was one hell of a ride.
  19. I'm sorry. I'm mistaken, if we get all top-priced FA lineman, sprinkled with a few 2nd round drafts, we'll be in the Superbowl for years to come. You're right. Just one thing... what if someone outbids us or the FA doesn't want to come to Buffalo? Do we still blame Marv and cheap ol' Ralph?
  20. ...because that philosophy has worked so well for us these past 10 years. That was the exact same logic behind picking just about every player we have, and look where we sit now.
  21. unfriggin believable thread! In week 7, no less. With that being said, its amazing how everyone sees how bad the line is, yet they still can't can't resist the shiny piece of tin foil in the window. Star power is great (i guess), but a great OL makes stars. A WR rarely makes the OL play better, but a good OL defittely makes a WRs stats look better.
  22. I thought sack yardage was subtracted from a QBs rushing yards or perhaps the teams total yards. How else do they come up with those stats... the last 3 drives have yielded -10 yards (for example) ? Don't know just pondering.
  23. What's the point of all this? Regardless of how good McGee may or may not be, WR is arguable our deepest position. What do we possibly get out of having another one? Now if McGee can play LT that would be something worthwhile to discuss.
  24. I think that right there is the one thing, more than any other, that Marv et al. needs to do. I think they've already started with some of the moves they've made. Players moves, new schemes, constant retoolind, these things breed losing records more than anything else. Marv needs to change the atmosphere around this team and that means stability and a sound plan. The rest will follow. The alternative approach (i.e. the Redskins) is to sign big time players and coaches; and that may produce some wins and lots of hype. But, in the end, hoe many teams build long term success that way.
  25. In all honesty, Lienart might only get one more game. He does, after all have 2 losses in a row. And Young didn't win the game, the Redskins are just that bad. I have complete an total confidence that if any one of these guys were on the Bills team, there'd be a multitude of posts calling for us to draft/trade from someone else.
