  1. Why can't we ever get the battered team that falling apart with injuries and player discontent? I swear it seems like every week we're playing the up and coming team. Is it just me or is our schedule this year turning out to be one of the toughest schedules in the league? I really thought the Jets game was going to be our toughest, considering how they were playing. We handled them well. Then, I thought the fins was going to be tough, considering they just shut out the Pats. We shut them out. Now, it seems like the Titans will be the toughest game of recent, considering they're on a roll and catching every break possible. I'm not to even thinking about the Ravens yet!
  2. In my perfect little dream world, that doesn't happen until we beat the Ravens and JP is preparing for his first playoff game. (dreams are a wonderful thing)
  3. All we have to do is beat the Titans this week. Do that, and just like Miami, we'll see their name drop off the boards and they'll be a mere afterthought in the 2006 season. Its that simple. Beat VY and JP will be the initials mentioned next week.
  4. Simple solution. Tarp off 5-7,000 seats (ala Jax) and there ya go, instant sellouts.
  5. For those of us that have never attended a game in Buffalo, not to mention a Bills/fins game, this post is priceless. I anxiously await your pics and live vicariously through this post. Thanks.
  6. Friggin awesome response!
  7. Alcohol is a wonderous thing. What a great 1st post. Love that line. Totally random smackdown. Gotta love it.
  8. Please! Everyone knows you have to have at least 250 yards passing to have a good game. We won inspite of JP's sucky performance.
  9. Another positive from today that no one's mentioning. So, I will. With Meriman out most of tonight's game and Schobel's 1 sack. He's now all alone as the NFL sack leader with 2 weeks left. Please, give him some props for the effort. He deserves it. All he does is play his arse off every play, no celebrations, no crap. Just solid play week after week. This season has gone so much better than probably 90% of us ever thought. And to still be talking about playoffs with 2 weeks left, the NFL sack leader, a bonified starting QB, a sweep of the fish. How great is this?
  10. I'm having some wierd math class flashbacks. D. All of the above
  11. This thread: playoff thread post #31 says it better than I could.
  12. You're kiddin' right?
  13. I'm a firm believer that we are a sum of our experiences. If JP isn't benched last year and the offseason doesn't unfold as it did; I'd argue he'd be a completely different QB and person right now. Perhaps he'd be better, but perhaps he'd have more bad habits to break. So, I'd have to agree, maybe Mularkey did us all a favor by benching him and making him take a hard look at himself. Fortunately, though, Mularky quit and we had coaches come in and actually coach him this year. That, I think is perhaps the best thing to have happened to JP thus far in his career.
  14. But we didn't need long, grind it out, 13 play drives because we had 3 big plays. See how it all works. If you have big plays, you don't have to grind it out. If you grind it out, you don't have to have big plays. Either way, we still won and they had nothin.
  15. Agreed! If the game ended after the 1st quarter, he may have a point. But the last 3 quarters of the game we kicked their ass up and down the field. Period.
  16. Yeah. It sucks. My brother in law loves the Broncos. I woulda loved ragging him about losing to the cards. Oh well. Let's go San Diego!
  17. Much better. Thanks It'd be great if the dang Cards could go ahead and give the Broncos that loss already.
  18. I completely agree with you, in spirit. However, when you have to win out and about 4 teams hae to lose and it takes a post this long to explain it all... well, it sure seems like a long shot. But, here's to Billievin.
  19. Exactly. Not to mention the 36ydr to Evans thrown perfectly over his shoulder. That's why I laughed so much. It's so stupid, you have to laugh.
  20. So did I! It was great stuff. How dare JP hit wide open receivers?! You gotta love it.
  21. I can agree with #5 as well. However, it's also good to see JP and Willis finish what they started. So, I'm not as upset about that one. I would like to see Jauron grow a pair and try to get a field goal before the half. I know the thinking, but I completely disagree with it when we need points and there's 2 minutes on the clock.
  22. Dang Arizona better win that game.
  23. I call foul. Totally, bogus comparison. LSI had an opinion at one point. He has now seen evidence to the contrary and has reformulated his opinion based on these facts. And he's humble enough to come out and openly say: "I was wrong" (unlike other people who refuse to do so). Nothing at all wrong with this. It's what wise peole do.
