  1. He needs to go knock Hockerbitch in the friggin mouth! That's what I'd do. If they're gonna give the game up, we might as well take one of them down with us.
  2. Too little too late from the refs. They've already given this game away.
  3. Now we take the knee. Content with a 17 point deficit.
  4. This score is totally on Jauron and his chickenshit play calling!
  5. Any time you see a QB with 50+ attempts, its usually a loss. That is not a winning game plan, never has been. That's usually a team trying to catch up. To say that you want to see what Losman can do, so let him throw on every down suggests that you can't see what he can do in 25-30 attempts. In the last 2 weeks, I think we've all seen what JP can do. He's had good yardage on a good number of attempts; he's managed the game well; and led the team when needed. If you're still not sold on him, I doubt you ever will. Given it'll be windy, perhaps wet (snow), and we want to keep their offense off the field; to call a gameplan that's throwing the ball 40+ times is a recipe for a loss.
  6. As opposed to all those great defensive games that shut down our opponents? You are watching the Bills each week, right? (that was a rhetorical question) I'd agree I don't think it'll be a low scoring game, although keeping the Colts to 17 points gives hope. However, I'm thinking a mid to low 20's.
  7. Agreed. This list is complete garbage. How can Cutler even be on it?
  8. Absolutely. I think this should be printed in the program.
  9. If they score 35, we lose. Simple as that.
  10. I would agree. I think Jauron will want to speed the game up and run, run, run some more. However, on the defensive side, we have to stop LT and I'm still not sure we can do that. Two things: (1) Tackling. Go back to basics and emphasize proper tackling, because we've been pretty horrid in that department. (2) Stay in your lanes. The defense has to remember their assignments and stay in their lanes. If they over peysue, LT will cut back and burn them big time. I'll had as a 2b, the ends should worry less with getting up field to the QB and worry more about just clogging up running lanes. Do that and we have a good shot at containing LT. However, I still think LT will score - that's all he does. So, to that end, I think we'll have to abandon the run as the game goes on. If our Oline can push them off the ball and allow us to run for first downs, it'll go a long way to us winning th game. I'm not really convinced we can do either of these, seeing as how we haven't all season. So, I don't expect a win. However, I do hope we somehow manage to pull something out. And maybe, just maybe, the Chargers are thinking they can take it easy for a week before a few key divisional games.
  11. I can see both sides of it here. Certainly, when I got to games or concerts I want to stand and cheer, sing, dance my butt off and enjoy the event. However, you have to respect the people around you. If everyone else is sitting, then I sit (of course jumping up at appropriate times). You do this for the same reason you turn your phone off in the movies, or don't put your feet on the seat in front of you in a restaurant, or don't shout across the store at a friend; it's out of respect for the people around you. If you want to do anything you want and go nuts regardless, that's when I say stay at home. When you go out to a public event, you have to act responsibly and respectfully.
  12. Exactly, its an honest mistake. No biggie. We all make them. The difference is some of us can say, well maybe I was wrong. OTOH, some are so determined to be right that they'll never admit to being wrong regardless of the facts to the opposite. (And, incidentally, I didn't turn to the DVR with the idea to prove any points. I was just really curious and thought it'd be great to verify for BillsBacker. Plus I'm fairly new with the DVR and whole taping of the games thing; so I use most any excuse possible to rewatch the game.)
  13. JP wasn't the first to walk away. He was on the bottom I believe it was Fowler and him the last 2 Bills to get up. It looked like Thomas was the first one to walk off the field.
  14. OK. Just to be sure... I reviewed the next to last play in the Jags game. The play were Losman just centered the ball for the field goal. Guys seen on the field and after the play walking away from the pile: 7 - Losman 79 - Pennington 71 - Peters 84 - Royal 28 - Thomas 83 - Evans 67 - Fowler 75 - Preston 69 - Gandy 31 - Shelton 86 - Ceislak (They're listed in order that I saw them on the review.) Royal got up and was teh first to call timeout. Evans never moved once he got to the line of scrimmage. On a side note: One of the things I like about JP is that he throws that 30 yd pass to Roscoe as easy as any pass. It's a bullet. When was the last time we had a QB that could throw a 30yd pass as quick and easy as that.
  15. No problem. What position was he at? left or right side of line?
  16. I just reviewed the DVR (gotta love it), I didn't see McGee #24 on the line. I did see #84. Thomas was the back #28. Most of the lineman jerseys were hard to make out, but none looked like McGee. So, upon further review, I'd say this is a case of mistaken identity.
  17. I find that nearly impossible to believe. Perhaps as Fla Bills Fan suggested, corporations are buying large amounts of tickets elsewhere. There's definitely something to that, because the Miami game back in game 2 was noticeably devoid of fans. And I'm sure we could see similarly empty seats in other teams stadiums. So, I just don't buy it.
  18. Oh. Well, in that case.... I have no idea.
  19. Maybe for his speed to run down a Jag if the kick was short and they tried to run it back for a touchdown??
  20. I have the exact same mojo! For that reason, I haven't worn a team jersey in 2 years. I wear a generic Bills sweatshirt and t-shirt. The only jersey number I wore successfully was Kelly's; however, that was actually an old Ferguson jersey. I tried that with Losman - wearing my old Fluite jersey last year, the guy was benched 2 weeks later. (I think the curse is getting stronger.) Within a year or less of me buying a jersey these players were gone... Thurmanater, Bruuuce, Flutie, and Drew. I, too, really want a Losman jersey now that he appears to be here for more than a few years, but I'm reluctant. I was thinking of getting a Wire jersey.
  21. Why can't we just have a couple of guys in the booth that talk about the football game that's being played and the players that are playing it. Explain formations, breakdown plays, point out little things that most fans may not notice, and give decent play by play calling - ya know who tackled who and where. That would be so refreshing. All this rambling crap about what happened in so and so game years ago or some inside joke, blah, blah crap just gets old.
  22. I would argue that for many fans, they've simply reached their breaking point. You buy and buy and hope and hope. Eventually, you just say, "screw it". So, until the team wins consistently (and I think that's the key) I'd guess you'll see this reaction. And I have to things to say about that attitude: (1) Who can blame people for having that attitude with this team? I certainly can't and won't. (2) Maybe that's what the team ownership needs to see to start spending money again on free agents and trying to put a winning team on the field.
  23. Stop confusing us with the facts. I much prefer unwarranted opinion.
  24. Given that these highlights show up and leave without my interaction and that the box records shows without me turning it on; I'd say it' might be smarter than me or at least working independent of my actions. Hence, I figure I better give it some respect before it takes over my house and tells the refrigerator to kick out my beer.
