Valiant effort... but what you're missing is someone thinks JP showed up, bit he just hung out smokin cigs in the corner actin cool. He never "actually" worked out. Until we see a Youtube video of JP lifting weights with a copy of that mornings newspaper held up behind him for date verification, we have no proof that he's actually working out - according to some. Even then, I could imagine this poster arguing that since the video was zoomed in too much, you couldn't actually see weights. So, JP wasn't really working out, the Bills were just doing a photo op and forced him to lift the bar with no weights while misting his face with a water bottle in an effort to trick other teams into thinking he's a workout demon.

The love and harmony that exudes from the Chroisen one is for all. Though some may choose to turn away, others bask in the ever-flowing Chroise. And when the naysayers finally realize the err of their ways, Hamdan will still Rock and the Chroise will be there for them.

I would disagree with that statement. I never really saw the appeal of that show. But, then again, I've never really liked The Simpsons either. Maybe, I'm just the nut. All I say.. is if MTV wants to show crap shows; that's fine. But they should change their name to CTV.

Just did a little googling about your printer problem, because I was curious - I've never had a problem hooking a printer up to a Mac. Well, from just a few sites I read, it appears you have a printer that HP never intended to be used on a Mac (for whatever reason). I'm sure you already tried this, but these 2 sites had some decent sounding suggestions: HP LaserJet 1020 on a MacBook HP LaserJet 1020 on OSX

Not sure of the problem with 2 pages side by side. I'm on my MacBook and have 2 separate Safari windows open. I then opened a blank Open Office document, and copied back and forth. ?? What am I missing?

I just don't get that about MTV. So they launch a network that revolutionizes the music industry and becomes hugely popular with an entire generation growing up saying, "I want my MTV!". How did they do that... by showing music videos, nonstop. Yet, now mysteriously, no one wants to watch videos anymore? I don't buy it. And that's the problem with the NFL Network, they shouldn't be competing with ESPN. They should be blazing a different trail and giving viewers something better than ESPN. If I want to watch ESPN, why would I turn on the NFL Network? But, that's a larger problem in corporate America. No one has any balls and they try to copy everyone else, just giving everyone the same old bland product, but at a high profit. A few years ago, NFL Network showed all sorts of classic games. It was one of the things that really got me excited about DirecTV. My father-in-law had it and I was like a junkie watchin those old games. But, in just a couple of years, literally, those games are all but gone.

Definitely good to know! Thanks. Any suggestions for desktops? I have to buy a desktop for a new office. All our machines are Dells, but I'd love to find something better (as noted with my earlier post). I'd switch the company to all Macs, but they're expensive and the people using them would absolutely freak out if I walked in with a Mac.

I've used both Macs and Dells for years. I do your basic work stuff... MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access; plus website creation, design brochures, posters, etc; and of course all the internet stuff. No games. I've done it all on both Macs and the Dells. IMO, they're both pretty much the same. I'd say there's nothing anyone can do on a Mac that I can't do equally well on a Dell; likewise, there's nothing I can do on a Dell that I can't do on a Mac. So, to some extent, it's a wash. With that being said... I vastly prefer working on a Mac. The integration of all the software is much more seamless and consistent. Far less troubleshooting and far fewer virii. The machine is sleek and solid. Plain and simple. The biggest problem, you would have are all the little differences. I imagine that's Pete's problem. To Copy on a Dell, you hit "Ctrl" + "C", on a Mac its "Cmd" + "C" - the same but different. The "X" to close windows is in the top right corner in Windows Apps; on a Mac its in the top left corner. And so on. So, it's getting used to all those different things that can make the switch difficult. But, imagine installing a program simply by dragging the application to a folder on your hard drive. Or uninstalling it by just hitting delete. No dangling .dll's to worry about. It's those kinds of things that seem nice to me. Also, I'll add that Dell's are becoming crap. I'm on my 3rd laptop in less than 3 years. I've had the one I'm typing on right now for about 8 months - the hinge on the monitor has about 3/4in play (so its about to go), the left mouse button is sticky, and the space bar just pooped out 2 days ago (I popped it back in). I give this thing 3 (maybe 6 months tops) before it'll be replaced. Conversely, the only reason I've ever replaced a Mac was to buy a new one. They're just better built. As far as the price goes... yes, Dells are cheaper. But a Taurus is cheaper than a BMW, as well. They both get you to work. But, one gets you there in style and luxury. If you have the money, IMO, its a no brainer - ride in style.

I would offer that the single biggest problem for our offense was the telegraphing of plays, couple that with no audibles, and how would anyone expect results? I've said it plenty of times before, but when I'm sitting on my couch watching the game and I know exactly what play is called before the snap of the ball; you know darn well the defenses know. Simply mixing the play calling up a little and giving the QB the ability to audible will improve the offense over last season's showing.

I just heard that... Hamdan STILL Rocks!

Seems odd to me.... with the emergence of the NFL Network, you'd think they'd be busier than ever at NFL Films generating all sorts of original programming for their network. But what happens, they start cutting back and continue to show the same 2 or 3 shows 10 times a day. I just don't get it. But, I've noticed that's the trend in all of TV. Turn on USA Network or TNT or A&E or anything and it's like they have about 4 hours of programming that they put on a loop and repeat all day long. Or they show Law and Order from noon till midnight nonstop. What ever happened to actual programming and variety.

I heard Hamdan Rocked so much, that Joan Jett originally named her mega hit.. I love Gibran Hamdan! Her record producer talked her into changing the song title, a decision she regrets to this day.

While I can certainly understand your consternation, as I have wondered on many a night, why Hamdan isn't on American Idol. But then I realized, Hamdan would win in week one because all other contestants would relinquish to the chroise. So, you see, he's not a false American Idol. He is what Idols in America dream to be.... Hamdan is America.
