  1. Even better! lol
  2. First of all, its a bit funny to read all the teeth gnashing and disgust at the boring design and lack of everything... based on 2 fairly basic rendering pics. Second, the only real issue I see with the over hanging canopies... where are they going to hang the dozen or so Super Bowl banners? And, along that line, is there a wall of fame around the stadium? Or is that going away? Finally, for all the careful observations and commenting on the lack of this or that... is no one really going to ask why there’s a futuristic submarine surfacing outside the stadium with an “awkward” looking Bills logo on it? P.S. I thought it would be cool to have a Falls replica inside the stadium, and make the visiting players run through the waterfall to get to their locker room. Oh well, maybe in 50 years.
  3. Lighten up Francis.
  4. It’s my name.
  5. The squib quick took 4 seconds off the clock, from 16 to 12. And the Chiefs started at the 28. Kick in the endzone... and they start at the 25, with an extra play. Yea, high kicking to the 5 seems like the sure way to run time and not get a start much past the 25. But its no guarantee. The ball could easily go into the endzone, bounce out of bounds, or the returner actually make a guy miss. So I’m squib kicking every time. My question is about the stadium clock. So with 5 seconds left, they hike the ball, pass to Kelce, he dives forward, they get 9 yds on the play, and call a time out. All within 4 seconds!? That.... is what seems improbable to me.
  6. Agreed this drive... was just incredible. My initial thinking when the punt was downed at the 4 was lets just get out of this half and regroup... and maybe a long FG to get us to within a point. Two plays later, its 3rd and 13 and my mind is running through the scenarios and thinking we could easily be down 17-3 before Allen gets the ball in the 3rd quarter (if we’re lucky!) Then Allen just did what he does!! It was so impressive and the type of drive we’ve all seen great teams do. Its the type of drive that makes a team and a fan base nervous when they take a 3 point lead in the 4th quarter. Every player, every one watching knew Allen and the Bills were going to score again. The only questions were would they get a FG or touchdown? And how much time would be left for KC?
  7. I was under the impression the first team was, however, named after Buffalo Bill? https://www.buffalobills.com/news/important-dates-in-bills-history-how-the-bills-got-their-name-16401977
  8. IMO, all the hype and stardom doesn’t sink in until you win a Super Bowl. Until that day... I’m sure he feels he still has a lot to prove. ...and in many ways, he does.
  9. Isn’t this what we all said last season? We won that regular season game. But then lost to the Jags. As others have said, it’s a long season. And this is just one game with many more to follow.
  10. Thats an awesome perspective! Love it. On a different note... where’s the Baldy breakdowns?
  11. I’m glad its not just me! I thought i just had crappy internet
  12. Although the size definitely matters... its more the distraction of having completely different programs going side by side. Have the producers at ESPN never heard if a VCR (or that new fangled DVR thing)? I think people use them to record a show thats on opposite one they’re currently watching, so they can watch it later. So that don’t have to try and watch both at the same time.
  13. Agreed... and I definitely don’t want a split screen showing 2 games at once. I think I’m gonna end up cussin at ESPN Monday night.
  14. I think I understand the thought process... but in week 2 its a hit early to start saying we control our own destiny. At this point every team controls their own destiny if they win out.
  15. Not that its good to do this, but he did have 1 run that he busted loose for 68yds. Take that run out and his average is 5.6yds/carry. Still really good, but not quite as gaudy. Either way it’s hard to say with one game if its due to a bad Titans run defense, or a really good Giants run game. I would add the Bills need to be ready for Tannenhill keeping drives alive with scrambles. He’s not the best rusher, but he’s proven to be quite effective if the defense clears the underneath zones and gives him a free 7-10yds to run out of bounds.
  16. No... I would seriously question the team’s cognitive capacity to grasp the century they’re living in. Maybe for a throwback game... theses logos and old uniforms would be cool. But the Browns is what they’re going with full time? Surely not.
  17. Surely this isn’t real??
  18. How is it even possible that Geno Smith is still in then league, let alone a day 1 starter?
  19. All these years later... and we still get “winning like this isn’t sustainable ..we’re doomed” threads. Awesome!
  20. I make my finance watch these every week during the season. She hates it! And thinks all Bills fans are crazy! Lol. I love it.
  21. Not gonna lie... brought tears to my eyes. We all deserve this. We all have lived for this. It is a new era! Lets just burn the past BBFS... and enjoy the team we have. We’ll get there. We have to!
  22. All summer long I’ve been rewatching the games from the last couple years. Ya know, just to get my Bills fix. And I just keep thinking to myself... can this team really start out as hot as they ended last season? Is it reasonable to expect 4+ touchdown drives in a row? There were a number of times when they just seemed unstoppable. It’s not natural is it? Im trying not to get my hopes too high for Thursday night. Its the first game. They’ll need some time to gel and put it all together. The Rams are Super Bowl champs, so obviously they’re a great team. But, then I say, the Bills are returning almost the same team as last season. If anything, they’ve only improved a few spots. So why can’t they be unnaturally good? Why can’t they go 19-0? Why can’t we finally see the best team to ever play in the NFL right here in Buffalo!? We can do this!!! My keys to the game on Offense: Dorsey. Can he maintain the offensive production we’ve seen? On the flip side, you have Donald ready to wreak havoc. Whats the game plan for that? On Defense: Rookie DBs. Can they hold down the fort till Tre comes back? On the flip side, you have Kupp. How will they fair against one of the best WRs in the game?
  23. Thats why I said no. Only because they like to share the load. But I think he is more than capable. Singletary may be the most under rated player on the team. I’ve rewatched every game from last year.. some multiple times in my craving for the Bills season to start. It’s amazing how effective he is at making the first guy miss, and always driving forward for extra yards once he is hit. He doesn’t have breakaway speed. But he has good vision and reliably gets every yard out of a play.
