  1. Not that I'm endorsing either version; however, if given the choice of the 2, I would take the Pink version over the Faith version any day of the week. They're obviously trying to replicate the fun, raucous imagery of the MNF Hank song. In no way does Faith Hill portray wild and crazy fun time about to be had. For those that dislike Hank's MNF version... remember the year they tried the various hip hop/pop groups each week. Now that was horrendous.
  2. This is exactly what I was thinking. I've called 2 dealers to see what they can do and should hear something soon. Right now it looks like this will be my best (and costly) option. But what the hey... if you can't spend money, why make it. That was my first thought! Buy him a treadmill then a new car in 6 months. That's what my first thought was. But, seeing his current vehicle's interior, he definitely needs something more. He's our business manager. So, he spends most days behind a desk (in a special made chair). However, being the great outfit that we are, we give everyone a company vehicle. His is 5 or 6 years old and pretty well ragged out - Especially the interior driver side seat. I think he has a Yukon (some big SUV gas guzzling thing). He's had to just deal with it, but we're having a decent fall and thought it nice to reward him with a shiny new vehicle.
  3. I have a guy who's large. Large. About 350lbs. Does anyone know where you can get cars/suvs customized for large people with heavy duty seats, etc.? ??
  4. I propose that the Ravens wear the Browns uniforms as their throwbacks.
  5. I knew we could take 'em! Thanks.
  6. Yeah... that's what I was thinking. You were supposed to say we'd thrash them, so I'd feel better.
  7. How would our Offensive line look against either of these defenses?
  8. Now that would be a riot! I'm guessing it'd be 2 minutes of silence with various clips of him standing on the sideline and at the end he'd say something like... "adequately sufficient way to make use of your ability to perform" as Trent walks past him. And I mean that in a good way.
  9. Very interesting, indeed.
  10. The Bills and Titans have both played only 1 team in the top 15 - Jags. The Giants have only played one as well - Skins. What's your point?
  11. Excellent, excellent points. The Bills have earned each of their 4 wins with solid play and coaching. That's what I see more than anything. No busted plays that gave them long scores. No refs blowing calls to give us a score. No gimmicks or tricks. Sure we can lose and I'm sure we will sooner or later. But, for now, the Bills are perfect and it's been a long time since we could say that.
  12. Your thread isn't nearly as funny as the Crayonz thread. I'd try again next week.
  13. I agree with you. However, I think the Titans get the edge right now because last year they were a playoff team - we were not. At least that's all I can figure. Still though, I've seen several pundits say the Bills are for real. So its all good.
  14. No doubt. Some people seem to need a reason to complain.
  15. I have all the confidence in the world there'll be at least 1 or 2 posters here that will make sure to point it out.
  16. That's how I saw it.
  17. Contrarily, I think the Cards are going to come out and try to establish the run to limit Warner's mistakes and get him going. If we shut down James, then Warner starts throwing, but not before - IMO.
  18. That's pretty much how I see it, as well. It's hard to game plan against a team when they change their roster and throw everything at you but the kitchen sink in an attempt to get a win. Those are tough games. The Bills rode the storm out and came out on top. I particularly liked the fact that they didn't get nervous and abandon the run game in an all out effort to score from behind. The team stayed cool, level-headed and made the plays they needed to win. IT's got to give them a ton of confidence. It's interesting because in some ways they're getting another desperate team next week in the Cards. After falling to 2-2 on the east coast, they're going to do all they can to get a win and stay in the NFC west race. Should be another tough game.
  19. Damnit! Well played, sir.
  20. I keep seeing reference to Trent have 3 - 4th quarter comebacks in as many weeks. But, if memory serves correctly, didsn't Greer's interception at the beginning of the 4th quarter put us ahead? Granted Trent threw a nice score to Lee and got us down for another field goal, but those were while we had the lead. Right? Not that I'm taking away from Trent's game at all. I'm just wondering if I saw something different from the rest of the world.
  21. Something I think we all have to remember.... Trent is still very inexperienced. He's playing very well, but... he's still not played a full season's worth of games. So, he's going to make a few mistakes, bad reads, etc. during the course of a game and the season. It should be expected to see opposing defenses throw all sorts of blitz packages and personnel packages at Trent in an attempt to confuse him. I think that's exactly what the Raiders and Rams did. To Trent's (and Schonert's) credit, he fought through it, minimized his mistakes, and made the right adjustments to come out on top in the end. This season goes as far as Trent will take us, and he's responding wonderfully. Once teams realize they can't win by blitzing and stunting like crazy, the line will look alot better.
  22. I completely agree. It's nice to see him getting fewer carries per game this year. Yes, his stat line doesn't look as good. But, if it keeps him fresher throughout the season and keeps him on the teams a few extra seasons; it's more than worth it. Jackson looks very good out there. For the first time in a long time, I don't feel bad at all when our #1 back (Lynch) comes out on a critical down. However, I think alot of Jackson's success can be attributed to defenses keying in on Lynch and Jackson coming in, in less predicatable situations. His TD run yesterday, for example, was a typical passing down, not a run up the middle down.
  23. You're forgetting about the tie-breaker.
  24. Agreed. I continued to say over and over during the 1st half... just get through this half. They just had to weather the storm. And they did. Any way you draw it up... 31-14 = 4-0 !
  25. 3rd Trap game in a row! for the Bills. Not sure how that's possible, but I'm certain we'll see it talked about.
