  1. I'm not so sure. I say give it to based on effort alone. Wow. It does stand. Definitely close.
  2. Exactly what I was thinking! Now Manning's about to get the go ahead score and steal this game.
  3. Holy cow! There's tonight's highlight play. Rosenfelds run on 3rd and 8, trys to hurdle a few Colt defender and gets helicoptered; loses the ball. Colts pick it up and run back for the score. Colts down by 3.
  4. True dat. I never quite got all the Schaub lovefest. More and more he's falling right into that mold of great backup that just doesn't get it done as a starter.
  5. Houston taking it to the Colts. Texans just scored to make it 27 to 10.
  6. Ravens moving the ball good. Finnegan from the Titans gets another personal foul and his own guy (Bullock) starts pushing him around telling him to calm down. The Titans are not looking very disciplined ,to say the least. Ravens on the 5 yard line looking to score. edit: another stupid penalty on the Titans. Wow.
  7. That's what I don't understand. Why not take his friggin head off? Plus, you know it's a run... so stack the middle and put 2 guys on Ricky going in motion. Ravens just blow the 2 minute drill and then miss a pretty easy field goal.
  8. Fins just scored with it again! I just don't get it.
  9. Just flipped and saw that. How are they getting away with that? Seems like someone would have taken Chad's head off by now.
  10. Collins takes a hard sack by Ray. Next play throws his 2nd interception. Just had 3rd personal foul of the game. Ravens lead 3-0
  11. I'm sorry. The Titans are looking rough - 4 penalties on the Titans on one drive just letting the Ravens go down the field one penalty at a time. Looks like the Titan defense is trying to prove they're better than Ray Rays
  12. I'm flippin, but starting out with the Titans/Ravens. edit: Titans were looking good moving the opening drive down the field. Ngata just tipped a pass and Ravens intercepted.
  13. That's what I keep telling myself, as well. A loss isn't that big of a deal. I think going into the season we all would have readily taken a 4-1 start. That being said.... man, would 5-0 feel good! while we sit back and relax for a week. The Bills can definitely win this game. But, I don't think it'll be easy for them. The Cards are going to really want to win to get some confidence back. And after 2 weeks on the road, I see them coming out pumped. So, the Bills will, once again, have to survive the first quarter and then just continue to turn it on.
  14. Yeah.. and Carter just picked Fitzgerald to be his game breaker. The guy definitely seems to think we suck ass. here's to proving that guy wrong. Just thing 2 weeks from now - how many people will picks the Bills over the Chargers?
  15. pretty much
  16. I think the Bills are beginning to gain some measure of respect. There have been numerous pundits throughout this week that have picked the Bills to win this week. However, AZ is not a fluff team and the the 2 teams are relatively evenly matched in many areas. Consequently, there have also been numerous pundits that have picked the Cards to win. Yes, we're 4-0; but they're at home. I expect a much closer game than many here are predicting.
  17. Interestingly, James is ranked 12th in the league [71attmpts / 277totyds / 3.9avg / 69.2ypg] which places him one spot above Lynch who is at 13th in league [79attmpts / 275totyds / 3.5avg / 68.8ypg]. Arizona as a team, however, is ranked 25th [108 attempts / 348 total yards / 3.2avg / 87.0ypg] while Buffalo is ranked 20th [116attmpt / 408 totyds / 3.5avg / 102.0ypg] Apparently, Jackson is the difference maker as he ranks 42nd in the league and the Cards don't have a backup RB in the top 50. So, as a team, the Bills have an edge (no pun intended) in running; however, the Edge is marginally outproducing the Beast. Lynch does have 4 touchdowns to James' 2. Conclusion, I really think they try to establish a running game tomorrow. Hopefully, we're ready and can make them one dimensional.
  18. Bask in the Chroise and you too shall see the boundless glory of our QB's salvation.
  19. Bite your tongue before someone reads this and gives us a slug on the side of the helmets.
  20. I'd cut the trees down.
  21. Why would Manning even be on the list?
  22. Nope. With all the money going to those overrated guys, we should have won at least 7 games by now. (Of course, I'm being sarcastic. I donn't want to be accused of using Crayonzian logic.)
  23. Yep, we're building a rather impressive list of overpaid players: Walker Dockery Schobel Kelsay Reed (not so much overpaid as much as just being paid when he should be cut) Evans And one player that we should overpay: Peters (of course, once he's paid, he'll become overpaid) I just wish we could sign players that could win us some games.
  24. What's that saying about you can't please all the people all the time? It is soooo true. Throughout the summer and training camp, we have to read post after post saying, pay the man, Ralph is cheap, the Bills are a farm team. Now, they pay the man and the other side chimes in - that's too much, he's not worth it, Ralph's overpaying. I really wish I had the time to research and track the posters to see who falls into which category. There's only one thing to not like about this deal - it's only 4 years. I wonder if that was what was hanging it up? Either that or the last month convinced the FO to pay Lee the money he was asking for. Lee is a key to our offense. Lee is a top wide out. There's no one you're going to bring in or draft that will fill his shoes in the short term. Why worry about the money? It's not ours and we're not in salary cap trouble.
