  1. Precisely why you do what 90% of the teams in the league would do right there.... run the damn ball. I swear, our coaches have no situational awareness whatsoever. In so many situations a roll out after 2 or 3 runs is a decent idea. With 2 minutes left, deep in your own end, protecting the lead... it's one of the worst calls to make.
  2. Knowing that about JP. Knowing why you benched him for a rookie. Yet, you still put the game in his hands? So, who's to blame here? JP for doing what he does or the coaches for letting him do it?
  3. Quite literally coaching lost this game. Run Lynch 2 more times. Worst case scenario.... he doesn't get the first down and the Jets get the ball with about 70 yardss to go and less than 1:20 on the clock. Best case scenario... he gets the first down and game all but over. Any complete pass there and so what... it's still 2 minute warning, Jets with time outs. So I ask who do you give the ball to with the game on the line... your best offensive player - Lynch; or JP. Just stupid. It's called putting your players in a position to win, and Jauron et al. have zero sense of that.
  4. How in the fuggin hell do you make that play call!
  5. I've been saying it all year... just line up man on man and pound the ball at them. That's what our line and backs do best.
  6. Quoted for truth.
  7. Agreed. I'd say another problem with some of JPs passes are they're too hard. It almost looks like the receivers aren't expecting it that fast. Love me some MKloven@ craps!
  8. There are a multitude of problems with our offense, but the lack of stretching the field is astounding. Why do we never try it? The entire defense is playing short passes and runs.
  9. Why do our DBs look like they're afraid to hit anyone?
  10. Nice to know someone wishes I would die because I'm cheering for a Bills QB to be good and win us a game.
  11. First, JP is a one trick pony that can only throw deep to Evans. Then he runs a TD. Then, that's all he's good at - running. Then he throws a strike TD pass on the slant (something we haven't seen ALL season). But anyone could have done that according to you. So now, he throws dump offs and you say he sucks for not throwing deep. Seriously, did you hit on him and he turn you down? Get over it dude. There's other guys in the sea.
  12. they just ran 5 seconds off after we called TO ????????
  13. Are you really sure you want to see this??? I held up in a hotel room last week with the internet feed, and I'm still emotionally scarred.
  14. Talk about damned if ya do, damned if ya don't.
  15. So, basically, you're saying the problem is Turk's a failure.
  16. True. But, I wasn't thinking in terms of what the Bills should do, but what should JP do, if he wants to start. We all know that whomever is the backup next year is more than likely going to start 3-4 games.
  17. I've thought the same way about other positions, less so the QB. But our 2 TE, 1 FB set is essentially like playing offense with 7 guys on the field (the center does nothing after snapping the ball).
  18. Ironically, his best chance to start next year may be backing up Trent again. He's almost guaranteed to get some starts.
  19. I believe it was one of the pregame programs last week that stated... the Bills are 1-6 in games 32 degrees or colder over the last 3 years. The Bills are a soft team, plain and simple. Myself, like the majority of fans would love to see the Bills play outside in a driving snow storm. Unfortunately, the players and coaching staff are afraid of the snow.
  20. Sums up my feelings about this "poll" nicely. Add to that all the people that want the team sold, yeah no more Bills losing in Buffalo. The people that want loses so we can get a better draft pick, yeah we won the draft where's our trophy. The ones that want to see roughly half our current starters cut so we can begin rebuilding again, yeah we like running in place. Ya know there's 31 other teams in the league... so there's no excuse for putting up with the Bills people. Go find another team, just go. Please.
  21. Based on the crowd/atmosphere and the fact that we always allow for a thrilling, last second, come back win for the opposing team; I think there's a good chance Buffalo gets another MNF game.
  22. Very few teams can impose their will on a defense like that. Occasionally, a team does it and just gets lucky. However, most teams rely on deception inside the 5. Play action, the TE releasing into the end zone, the pitch out, QB draws, etc. are all plays that work very well when properly disguised through player alignments, play selection, and avoiding tendencies. These later ideas are where the Bills fail miserably time and time again.
  23. Awesome. There have been posts over the years about what it means to be a Bills fan. Well, this says it as well as any that I've ever seen. Excellent perspective.
  24. I think I thought I knew what you were thinking, but... wait what was I thinking of posting. Oh who cares.
  25. Russ, as a marketing guy, needs to change his strategy with Ralph. It's becoming fairly clear that this group of players and this group of coaching staff are not the right combination to get the team on track. So what's easy/cheaper... Replace all the players and get new guys that can implement the current coaches plans and win? Or replace the HC/OC/DC with guys that can get the existing players to implement a a new plan that wins? Replacing a dozen players (I just made up numbers for the argument) means cap hits and high FA signings equating to $10s of millions, perhaps $100million. Replacing the coaching staff with top of the line talent is what $10-$20 million? So which is the cheaper option?
