Singletary has to at least chip the guy

We’ve won 14 games. We’re in the Divisional round. How much better do you want them to be? its the NFL playoffs... there are no easy wins, despite what we may hope or expect.

I would add... our offense is missing more than just balance. Its missing creative play designs and proper timing of the the play calls to keep tue defense off balance. Our offense seems simplistic and predictable. We’re putting up the points, but definitely make it look difficult.

Yeah... he absolutely is! I hated seeing Daboll leave, even though i knew it was only a matter of time. Dorsey has a long way to go. A long way.

The Dolphins had 42 rushing yards. How do you do that with an invisible DT? I know most people here are just happy to see the Bills struggle so they can point out every potential flaw ans pretend they see the real game when no one else does. But the reality is... this is a good team with a lot of good players. We’re in the Divisional round.. again. And hosting it, because of players like Oliver. Not every player sucks. Enjoy just a little bit having a team win games in Buffalo. Its kinda nice when you stop criticizing everyone.

Singletary had the run of the game to seal it! Just incredible effort. I don’t have a huge problem with all the bombs, although I do wish they’d work in more short outs (ala Beasely’s TD). But the one thing, above all else, I wish Josh would clean up... just take the sack. Live to play the next down, especially with his arm! The D still gives up entirely too many 3rd and really longs! I’d honestly rather see a 3rd and 3 over a 3rd and 19. The refs were horrible. I know the delay of game is usually not called after a second.. but several snaps were more like 2-3 seconds (it seemed). We won. Ultimately thats all that matters. Style points, almost misses, got lucky. Who cares? I’d rather be in the Bills’ position right now than the Dolphins’. Went right into the celebration Scotch, and needed it! Let’s hope they reset, get Phillips back, and clean it up next week! Go Bills!

If Bengals beat the Ravens... they come to Buffalo (assuming we win). I don’t think there’s a scenario where we play Bengals in the Championship game.

I’m really sorry for your loss. Its tragic. I’m welling up, because I’ve had similar thoughts during Bills games, especially recently. For so many of us, the Bills truly are more than a football team. They represent our family. They truly need to win it all ..soon. Because there’s a lot of us with life long Bills fan, family members that may not be able to say there’s always next season. For alot of us the number of next seasons is dwindling. I wish you and your family wellnes and peace Daggers... and to all our friends here, may we all rejoice soon after a lifetime of hoping.

Completely agree. I fear our cap situation is going to force a couple of really good players’ departure.

I’m not saying I completely disagree with most of these thoughts. However, I do think Singletary is grossly undervalued and under appreciated by most fans for some reason. He doesn’t have the breakaway speed to take it to the house on any play, but he almost always makes more yards, than the play seems allowable with our line.

Do you think the league didn’t ask the Bills and Bengals if they wanted to play that game? If the Bills wanted to play it, I’m certain it would not have been canceled.

That was the only reason I really wanted us to win yesterday. The idea of going back to cinci in 2 weeks was not a pleasant thought. True. But everyone with this sentiment just needs to get over It. We played one less game. Yeah, the circumstances were terrible, but no one wanted to finish that game, and cramming it in was senseless. We lost control of our own destiny when we cancelled that game. It sucks, but thats the way it goes. We still ended up #2 and don’t play in Cinci or KC again this year. Considering the circumstances, I think we came out as well as can be expected. Had the Bengals forced the isseue, i would have been in favor of forfeiting the game all together and settle for the 3seed. Luckily they acted with class and care.

Wasn’t a defender at his feet, preventing him from stepping into the throw at all. Perhaps even makin him hesitant after the low hit last week.

I don’t know if its a lingering ankle issue causing him to lose concentration or just a mental issue. But Davis needs a sports psychologist as much as anything to help him get back to where he was. I hope Beasely is ready for a full load, because Diggs needs someone else out there for the defenses to think about.

One thing about the Bills win, like so many games this season; they didnt look good the whole game. But the Bills never stop, they just keep going, keep playing and keep scoring. So what seems like a close game... in the end is a 2 score win. That’s what good teams do. They understand its a 60 minute game, not just a 1 quarter game. I love this team.

In all seriousness, when was the last week that we could say was a “normal” week? They’ve won 13 games and are the #2 seed, despite all the adversity.. all season long. It’s just astounding and hands down McD has to be coach of the year. Great win. Great team. Great season. Let’s keep it going one more week!

As do I. Perhaps partly because after the events of the week, this game seems pretty small. Perhaps partly because we’re in the playoffs amd playing next week regardless of the outcome. Perhaps partly becauae we’re playing an average team, at best. (I know being the 2 seed is better.)
