  1. At the very least he ..and Frazier.. need to do some serious self evaluation and figure out what they’re doing wrong. The defense let the game get away every bit as much as then offense.
  2. I absolutely was thinking take the FG. Wish they would have. The end of the 4th... don’t QB sneak. The entire defense expected it... roll Allen out for an easy couple yards or he tosses it out of bounds if they cover him. Do that 3 times.. then take the safety. OT. When you have the ball of the 20.. plenty of time. They should have run it. You don’t need to throw to the endzone 3 times. Some very questionable play calls to say the least.
  3. Kinda how i feel after the last few weeks and the way the season ended the last couple years
  4. Yep. You would think now is finally the time to hand the ball off and keep the passes to screens and other such “easy” throws. edit... And can Terry talk to the league about doing something when a QB does a QB sneak and the defender grabs one of his lower legs and pulls him backwards with it nearly 5yds!
  5. I’m gonna disagree a little... first let me say Josh did not play a great game, made bad throws and reads. He clearly owns some of the blame for the loss. But the Bills punted and the Jets took over in a tie game, 7mins left at their 4 yard line. The defense absolutely has to get a stop. They gave up several long, methodical drives for a score. And that one was the worst. Our defense more often than not seems to give up that final score when they just shouldn’t. Despite all that, Gabe Davis has a few drops on the day. And the worst was the final offensive play of the game for the Bills. Josh hit him perfectly in his chest 60ish yards down the field. And the ball literally fell untouched through his arms. At the very least we should have had a shot at a long, end of regulation FG attempt. Davis just has to catch that ball. I think to place all the blame squarely on Josh is just overlooking all the plays that it seemed the entire team didn’t make at one point or another.
  6. If we can’t beat teams like the Jets and Dolphins that are “playing like it’s their Super Bowl”... what chance would we have if we played someone that actually was in the Super Bowl?
  7. Only 2 things I can think of.... made queso and chips at halftime. First time I did that this season. felt supremely confident with 7mins left and a punt downed at the 4 that we’d be kicking the game winning FG.
  8. Pine Barrens Mafia started the pregame thread yesterday and Chandler81 didn’t start a new one.
  9. I think you forgot how bad the D line stinks.
  10. Very good points.
  11. I would suggest Mckenzie is not a suitable replacement for Beasley. We lost Crowder too for what that’s worth.
  12. For all of Josh’s bad olay, he still hit Davis in the breadbasket on the final play only to have the ball pass directly through his hands. Yes Josh is struggling for the last 6 quarters but no one other than Diggs is helping him out much.
  13. ...after letting the Jets literally run rigjt over them with a drive starting at the 4yard line. Yah they stopped them. But ever hear the expression.. too little too late. ?? Color me officially concerned about our inability to stop the run. We had chances to win, the offense and Josh struggled. But in a tie game, mid 4th quarter, the defense collapsed.
  14. I keep looking at this thread. I don’t want to.. but I can’t help myself. Its so... I gotta see more
  15. I think Josh complains to the refs when he gets hit in the head or tripped and they don’t see it. But he never complains when he gets hit while running around or that spilt second after he throws the pass. Subtle difference perhaps.
  16. So you’re saying all your special shirts/jerseys are bad luck. Glad you stopped wearing them!
  17. I’ve been secretly hoping we had a hidden gem after the glowing press on him and Davis in their rookie camps. But due to injury, and certainly other reasons, he’s not been able to crack the roster. I wish him well with the Giants. He deserves a shot to prove he can play in the league.
  18. Seeing Poyer out there like this, reminds me that I’m not strong enough to play this game. My respect for him and all these players playing through injuries couldn’t be higher.
  19. So facts matter... but words don’t? If a word or phrase has an accepted and understood meaning, you can’t just “interpret” it differently. And if you do, just acknowledge that when called out by someone. A simple... I’m sorry. I used the word/phrase in a different context because I felt like be different today. (Or perhaps a more accurate... I’m sorry, I made a mistake saying that.) ....would do.
  20. I mean. I have no idea... but it seems Moss and a 5th was what everyone wanted to get rid of. So.. yeah?
  21. Hate to see Moss and a 5th rounder go. But this is an epic win! We can all step back from the cliff.
  22. 😉 I agree with you. My earlier post was a tongue in cheek response based on the “epic trade” thread. I’m not against a trade, but for a TE? Any TE, that would be unnecessary to say the least.
  23. Did you mean to say epic?
  24. I don’t think they gave up so much as the Bills just beat them into submission. Consider that we score a TD, get the ball right back, score a second TD on the 1st play of the 2nd half. Then GB took close to 10mins (I think) to methodically move the ball down the field. It was a beautiful drive and I can imagine exactly what the coach told them was the game plan to slow down our offense and stay in the game. They score on that amazing catch. Score is 14-7, GB bench is ecstatic! With just about 4mins left, its a one score game and they get the ball to start the half. The game plan is working. Bills get the ball, score a TD. Just under 2mins, GB gets the ball ends up punting. With 53seconds, Josh hits a bomb to Diggs, we kick a half ending FG. Its 24-7. The Bills easily scored on 4 consecutive drives. And I’m sure Rodgers was thinking well this game plan sucks.. just as the coaches said they’re gonna stick to it. GB played tough and physical. But the game was never in doubt. The Bills controlled it and every one knew it.
  25. Yeah.. no idea when this happened during the game. But definitely concerning if its serious and he misses time.
