  1. Really? Today was a microcosm of his career in Buffalo. He comes in for 3 plays, 2 bad sacks, one pass that didn't cross the LOS, gets injured and is done. Unfortunately, when I think of Trent Edwards that's pretty much what he's done here.
  2. I don't understand... you don't like the NFL NEtwork because you have cable? Does that mean you have NFL Netwrok or do you not?
  3. Any suggestions for the best place/way to sell 2 used Sirius Radios. I have an S50 and an SL100 with car kits and all the stuff. Both are in excellent condition (don't have original boxes). I was thinking Ebay, but I've never used Ebay so know nothing about it. Everyone just says they always buy and sell stuff on Ebay. I was thinking my local paper, but I live in a small town. So, I was thinking my response might be limited. (I stopped using Sirius when they merged with XM because the stations become watered down, IMO. My wife just got a new car with built in XM, so she no longer needs hers.)
  4. Absolutely not. Ralph is too meddlesome and cheap. I'm holding out for the Cowboy's position.
  5. Why give away all those draft picks? Get Johnson for a straightup trade for Lynch. Although, you do bring up a good point. If Clausen or a top LT isn't available in the 6th round, I'd call the Vikings and make the trade.
  6. I don't understand? Why draft a QB, when we could sign Manning? And get Andre Johnson to go with with Marshall. Oh what the hey... get Chris Johnson as well. ...Now!
  7. Hilarious!
  8. See, I knew losing to the Saints would help us in a tie-breaker!
  9. I would completely and whole heartedly agree. Switching from Mac to Windows or Windows to Mac can be problematic, largely becacuse you just get used to certain things. For example, if you're on the Mac and get used to trashing your drives to disconnect them, it seems cumbersome to find the same function in Wondows. By the same token, you get used to right clicking stuff in Windows and then get on the Mac and wonder why they can't just just give me 2 buttons like I'm used to. So, it's all give and take. However... I've used both OS's somewhat equally since the mid 90's and the Mac operating system is by far the more stable, less buggy of the two. It's not even a comparison. It's kinda like comparing the Bills' offense to the Colts' offense. Yeah they both do the same thing and all. Yeah the Colts aren't perfect. But, one is a heck of a lot more dependable and just plain outclasses the other. I also agree. Always back up all your files - regularly! The Time Machine function on the Mac is a good free way to do that, hence my suggestion. Especially if you're visiting nefarious websites and downloading so much illegal porn that you need a terabyte hard drive to store it all on. Not that anyone that started this thread would do that.
  10. I've wondered the same thing. Most all of these hot GM prospects that we're all gushing over are out of work and had limited success in their last several years at their former teams. IMO, they're all in the same boat as Shanny, good perhaps, in the sense that they're better then what's currently at OBD. But, by no means a guarantee of being a success.
  11. In other words... whatever the Bills do is wrong, whatever any other team does is right. Thanks for the insight.
  12. They contacted him in November and offered him $10 million plus partial ownership of the team (reportedly). How is that a day late and a dollar short? Should they have called him in Sept and offered $15million?
  13. It does seem counterintuitive. However, when you click on the drive and begin to drag it, the "Trash" icon changes to an "Eject" icon. So, its somewhat self explanatory. You just have to click on the drive and start to move it first.
  14. Another thing to consider is using Time Machine to back up your computer to the external drive. I've never used it, because I don't have an external HD; however, I've heard its really simple and easy to use.
  15. Unless I'm mistaken, the drive should come already formatted as FAT32. It's a USB connection, correct? If so, you should be able to just plug it in and go. A FAT32 drive should be recognizable on both Mac and Windows computers. However, if you only intend to use it on your Mac, it's' probably best to reformat it for the Mac, specifically. To do that, go to your your "Applications" folder i nthe Finder, then open "Utilities". In their you should see a program called "Disk Utility". Open that, you should see the external drive, click it. Then you'll have the options to Format it, Partion it, scan it, do whatever. But no drivers or anything like that are needed. To remove the drive and take it somewhere, hide it, whatever; just drag it to the Trash and it'll say eject. That'll remove the drive from your desktop; then it's safe to unplug it.
  16. What kind of hardrive is it? Model number?
  17. Nope. If there's an existing agreement in place, contacting anyone would be a bad idea. Although, not sure why a 2nd agreement is needed. Given the amount in question... $1100 I'm thinking your best option is small claims court, as others have suggested. Although, I know little of these matters. Quite honestly if it was me... I'd probably let it drop, but then again I'm wussy like that.
  18. If Fewell does that, he moves yet up another notch in my book.
  19. That's along my line of thinking. Call him up, and lay out the scenario: Pay me my measly severence pay AND the $1100 bucks. I sign the confidentiality agreement. And walk quietly away, never to be heard from again. Or, don't. Then I make a few calls to TMZ and the like and see what my story is worth. And we all see just how far down the rabbit hole we can go. Give them a day to cut a check, then start making some calls. Depending upon who this individual is, your story could be quite profitable.
  20. If I had to guess, I'd say you're right but for the wrong reason. Holmgren may have said no to the Bills because of Ralph, but not because Ralph's behavior. I would say it's probably because of Ralph's age. The Bills could quite possibly have new ownership within a few years. That means instability. Which, in turn, makes the position harder to fill.
  21. Yep, all those great players plus a solid 4-9 record this year! How great would that be. Woo hooooo ...if only we could get the best players we could be as good as them. oh wait.... huh?
  22. Yes, because the Browns, Redksins, Raiders, and every other bad team has all that.
  23. All I can say is.... I wanna party with this kid!
  24. JP can't get a break. Frye to start for Raiders.
