This game just got away from SD. So now we have to listen to that Ryan for another week!

It's amazing how average players can leave Buffalo and be pretty good. But, all the players curently in Buffalo suck and we need to rebuild the the majority of our roster.
-
Just asked about that in the game thread. What's up with that?
-
They announce the PPK winners the one kid is from Buffalo wearing an Eagles jersey? WTF?
-
Where the heck is Reevis? Are the Jets just letting Jackson run free or are the Chargers just doing a great job of moving him around?

Anyone Else Hear What Quadry Ismael Said

Talk to a bunch of coaches that were just fired from their job and I'm sure they'll have nothing but glowing things to say about the franchise. I just love how the words of former, disgruntled employees carries more wieght than people still working for the team. -
I think we're just in full on "make crap up" mode now. Either that or there have been alot of children left behind.

Leslie Frazier choice is starting to sound VERY good

Frazier's defefnse is certainly looking better than Grimm's offensive line. Does Frazier look good because he has 3 all pros or are they all pros because they have Frazier? The age old question. -
Exactly, and I'd give him one. Maybe 5 years? expecting he'll never see the last few years of the deal. But, a "McNabb" immediately ends all the Qb problem here. It allows us to concentrate on the line and other areas of concern. All the while you get a young , promising QB, whether it be Brohm or a draft pick, and give him a couple years of grooming with no pressure to take over. This is esstentially what the Packers did, the Cowboys did, the Dolphins did, the Cardinals are attempting. And, IMO, allows for a much better chance of near and future success than drafting a guy and hoping to get lucky, ala the Steelers, Raven, Falcons.

Thanks. Most of the times, even I just dismiss it as idiocy all too often just read over it. But, it's just been getting more and more difficult in recent weeks.

Whatever they want (minus a first round pick) plus Roscoe.

We could only be so lucky. Getter done.

At the very least, called out. But, how would any of us feel if a poster was regularly calling for your death because they don't like your posts? No one puts up with a poster saying things like that about other posters. But, for some reason, it's ok because Ralph isn't present? I'm sorry, but I don't like it. Dislike the guy, wish for him to sell the team, wish for him to retire from football, wish all sorts of things; but wish him or any person bodily harm or death... no. If this board was overrun with Ralph sucks he should die posts 10 years ago, I would have never stuck around. I've always thought of this place as having a better class of poster than the other Bills' boards. But, lately, I just don't know. I have no problem with dissention and idiocy - it makes the place interesting. But, there's a difference between idiocy and hate-filled rants.

I think that's something people aren't considering. The Bills are actually targeting the top prospects out there. They started with the top out of work guys - Gruden, Holmgren, Shanny, Cowher. Obviously, those guys are going to be selective. They have lots of options and money is no longer a priority. So, its not surprising to have them turn the job down (even though 2 considered it). You would think it would be an indication that the Bills want to win, but apparently not. Then they've gone to the top OC/DC that are on playoff teams. So, yeah, those guys have to be a little careful. But, more importantly, they're all on teams that are close to a SuperBowl. It's entirely possible that a young guy like Schotty would want to stick with the Jets a few more years, have a chance at a SB. However, an older guy like Frazier, who's window to become a HC is smaller, could be more willing to make the move. Again, though, talking to some of the top assistant coaches would on the surface appear to mean the Bills want to win. Apparently not. The surprise to me is JH in Stanford. That kinda came out of left field last night. Not only was this guy interviewed, with no one knowing anything about it, but he was offered the job and turned it down. All while no one knew anything about it. Maybe he turned it down because he sees his conference opening up with Carroll leaving, maybe he has a contract he can't get out of. I don't really know. But, again, the Bills, reportedly, go after one of the top college coaching prospects and again it's not seen as an indication that they want to win. In my estimation, everything they're doing this off season indicates that they want to win. But, based on what someone from 5, 10, 15 years ago said?? we all know they're not committed to winning. Or is it based on speculation and rumors from fired employees that did absolutely nothing to help the team win? I know... it's because they won't pay for players. I guess TO, Dockery, Walker, Mitchel were all scrubs that were paid pennies on the dollar. The Bills' problem is they've been paying for the wrong players, not that they're not paying for FAs. If a coach really wants more than 1-2 key FA signings a year - I don't want them here. One thing is certain, you can't build a winning team through free agency. Nix is right, pay to keep your own guys, build through the draft, and get a few good guys that can help through FA. Anyone that wants lots of big name FAs, I would argue, doesn't know how to win.

That's what gets me. I really think those posters should be banned. Seriously.

What would you have said if the Bills hired Dungy to coordinate the hire and he hired Frazier? Because that's exactly what they reported he wanted to do in Seattle. I don't know if Frazier is any good or not, but he seems to have alot of people thinking he'd be a pretty good HC. -

First computer I ever worked on had a 20mb hard drive. We got grant money and decided to upgrade it, so we got a 120mb hard drive. It was unreal! Never would we use that much hard drive space. Never! I mean ever! People from other labs would come over, just to look at our computer. (I don't remember the price, but it probably cost about as much as an entire computer wouldl today.) Now I have a 1gig usb drive on my key chain. Unreal. -

The league really needs to change that stupid rule. You literally touch the QBs head and you get a penalty. I can see if you lay into the guy or it's helmet to helmet, ok. But, this jumping up to block a pass and your hand comes down on the guys helmet is just horse . -
