wow. This is going to take some getting used to. I'm not sure I'm going to like all the thumbnail pics that will soon litter every other post. Can we have some sort of immediate suspension policy for people posting the pixie pan guy? I do like the idea of the "reputation" system. Although, I'll wait to see how it works. Will we be able to see who's on "probation" or close to being banned or... just basically in trouble. I'd kinda like that, for some reason. Nicely done. I'll graze a bit and get a better feel for now. Just really wanted to try posting to see how it felt. (I entered the Chat and it loaded fine - no one was there, but it seemed to be working).

Watching Brohm get some decent playing time, may very well be the only reason worth watching this upcoming game.

Actually, I'd say it's based on several year's worth of bad QB play that was just reinforced with a bad preseason game. My question would be... when do you expect to see Trent become an adequate QB? At some point he has to take charge and lead this team to more than 3 pts followed by alot of 3 and outs. So should he look better in a preseason game where the defense isn't going all out? Or should he save it all up for the regular season? I'd be shocked if he wasn't trying his dmandest to score on every drive last week. The fact that he didn't score on any (silimilar to last preseason), says something.

What I don't get is how do we even know for sure Malone is his father? I mean anyone can say anything now a days. Has anyone even looked into it? Maybe the Basketaball HOF did and found that there was nothing to Bell's "claim"? It could happen. It makes me wonder about his claim that he's a football player too? It seems everytime he's expected to play he suddenly gets "injured" and can't. Sounds pretty convenient to me. Maybe we're seeing a pattern here where someone is being caught in their own lies.

Yes, he is. And I really can't blame him, nor do I mean to discourage him. It's good that some of us can have hope and remain optimistic. I've tried, I really have. I've set my sights pretty low for this season, and certainly game 1 of the preseason is too early to cash in on the season. But, I really was hoping Trent would have shown some amount of improvement. I hope Brohm shows us something on Thursday - not because I like Brohm so much; but mostly because I just can't see Trent suddenly changing his spots and turning into the leader we so desperately need.

Honestly, I wish people would just let this notion die. Levy's Bills were favored to win the division year in and year out, they went to 4 consecutive Super Bowls, there were pro bowlers at every position and several future HOFers, Levy didn't need to do much in the Preseason. This team, however, needs to prove it can play competent professional football. They're a far cry from that. So, yes, these preseason games mean a little more. Should they win them all - no. But, would't it at least be nice for them to look competent?

A slump is when an otherwise good player has a bad game or two. What we have with Trent is a bad player that's had a decent game or two. In other words, a couple of good games in 30 or so starts is a bad career, not a slump.

That was a highly subjective "blow to the head" hit. The instant replay sucked..imagine that. But, if he hit McNabb on the head it was with his pinikie. It wasn't a late it. What get me about Maybin is that he's one of the few guys actually trying to make a play; showing emotion; actually caring about winning; yet so many people are so ready to bash him. While, on the other hand, Trent who looks like he could care less about winning; walks around like he can't wait to get home and watch some TV; is given all the slack in the world.

I was not and still am not overly optimisitic about the season. But, wow. They looked worse than I could have imagined. Call it tired, call it injuries, call it what you want, but they didn't even look adequate. Can we please bench Trent. Please. I honestly can't imagine what the coaching staff sees in him. Is it me or does he just look completely disinterested out there?

He's not Trent. Did you watch any of that game yesterday? Did Trent do anything. anything, anything? Seriously, anything?

Good point. A rookie made a bad play; he should be cut. We all know a player never develops or learns anything.

I wonder how much of this initial depth chart is meant to motivate players and let them all know that no one is being given a position based on draft status? It'll be interesting to see where everyone lines up come September.

They practiced in the rain? The rain? Chan is completely blowing it. Everyone knows you can't work properly in the rain and cold. If Chan's not careful, this team might just be tough enough to play outside. Unbelievable.
