  1. Y’all need to watch the clip above about .. Gap integrity. If I were to hazard a guess, I’d say Ed has been maintaining his gaps, closing running/passing lanes and not being asked to get after the QB and make all the stat inducing plays. Those game plans and results may come.
  2. Gotta say… perhaps the best game breakdown out there. Thanks for posting!
  3. No doubt… I agree. The Jags are not a bad team. The Bills definitely get the edge.. they’re 2-0 for a reason and playing at home with a few days extra rest. So they should win this game. However, as we all know, anything can happen and the Jags are very much (I think) going to come out on fire to prove they belong and salvage their season before it gets out of hand. The Bills need to match that intensity in the first quarter, and then keep the peddle down to put them away in the 3rd. Do that and I think they cruise to 3-0.
  4. Do people really think that after 11days off and playing on Monday night, the Bills players will look past this game? I'm not saying they will absolutely win… any team can lose or win each week. But, there's zero chance the Bills will be unfocused or looking forward to the next game.. and they will have long gotten over the high of thrashing Miami. This is in no way shape or form a trap game, even if they do exist.
  5. He definitely got there early, but my question is what’s the line between interfering and trying to catch the ball? The defender was in position, looking at the ball, both players jumped and made contact. Why is that pass interference? Thats why they rarely call PI on Hail Mary plays. They’re all down there and jump for the ball.. essentially what this play was.
  6. No. We would gave still been a wildcard. Solid point… if you change all sorts of things and we lose every game we won… yeah. We would have sucked! And to think… I used to come here for smart football discussion about the Bills.
  7. You lose too many commercials without a break before the kickoff, then one after the kickoff.
  8. Barely made the playoffs last year? I stopped reading there.. anyone that thinks that.. clearly has a preconceived narrative that they’re forcing wrong opinions on to make it work.
  9. I can honestly say the Rex hire was my low point. I called my sister that day and said you might as well cancel your Sunday Ticket, because we’re going to suck for 3 years until he’s fired. Fortunately, it didn’t take that long. The day he left was the day I had hope, again, that we would win the Super Bowl. The game had passed him by, yet he carried himself as if he had won a dozen SBs. To the weird category, I would like to suggest the fact that it was Tyrod Taylor at QB that ended the drought as being right up there with the weirdest. The good, for me, starts and ends with Josh. I still can’t believe sometimes we drafted him and he developed into the player that he is. For the bad, I’d like to just add the Roger Goodell and every thing he has done to grow the league and make money is horrible for fans. And why does the league seem to hate Buffalo and screw the team repeatedly? I guess that’s a rhetorical question more than anything. Back on point, Rex sucked. LOL. I guess it is true, it is darkest just before the dawn.
  10. Well a white Buffalo was born in Yellowstone …so it has to be the year.
  11. I’m old. But I really like watching the old broadcasts… without all the distracting onscreen stuff. You get to just see the players and crowd. Now… you have the constant ticker with scores and individual stats, down and distance, current LOS, first down line, tv station logo, and whatever else I’m forgetting. You forget how distracting that all is, until you see one of these old broadcasts. Not to mention announcers that actually talk about the game being played on the field. I am old though.
  12. They possibly gave it up for nothing. I agree. But they may have lost the WR they wanted. Agreed, we’ll never know now. Either way we allowed the team that kicks our ass in the playoffs every year to work their board the way they wanted.
  13. Allowed them to move up and take a player they actually wanted. yes, they may have still drafted him had they not traded up. But, they may not have had that opportunity. Clearly they thought there was a need to trade up to ensure they got him. We made sure that could happen. Is another later round pick really that great? I guess time will tell. But at some point all these brilliant moves need to at least get us to the championship game.
  14. It’s not about worrying about the Chiefs. It’s about not helping them. Of all the teams in the league that is the last team I would want to help. The only way you could possibly justify this is if you think getting a late round pick significantly improves the team. Just getting an extra pick doesn’t do that. This is the same logic we saw for years with teams helping the pats with those stupid trades that allowed them to sustain a perennial Super Bowl winner. I think this comes down to… you and others think the Bills FO are smarter than the one that has made the conference championship game every year, and won multiple Super Bowls. I’m of the opinion you don’t let that team do what they want in the draft because records currently show… they’re making better decisions than you.
  15. I don’t think there’s any way any one can justify why Beane would trade with KC, so they can get the 1st round player they wanted. Whether he ends up good or bad. This is just a classically stupid move. Unless you get a stupid compensation like their 1st for the next 2 years, you absolutely do not do anything to help the team that ends your season more often than not. For me, it’s not that we moved out of the first round. It’s that we gave KC a boost so that we can move behind them. Classic case of thinking you’re smarter than the guy that keeps winning Super Bowls while you’re sittin home with nothin to do. I’m quickly losing all faith in the Bills’ FO and HC to have a clue.
  16. Babich seems like one of the up and coming young coaches in the league. So in that sense, this should be good. However, he’s also been part of an organization that can’t seem to play with the big boys in the playoffs. So, what is he going to do differently from what has been done for the last 5 or so years to help us get over the hump? Is he going to be able to adjust and find a way to beat teams like the chiefs or a hot bengals team in the playoffs? As someone that experienced every horrible game and offseason move since our last Super Bowl visit, I’m not in a hurry to blow up the staff or roster. However, they simply cannot keep returning with the same philosophies and game plans and expect to ever get past teams like the Chiefs. There needs to be some serious self assessment and changes made. So far… can anyone say we’re seeing that?
  17. I’m ok with this…. Pretty much expected it since we beat the Cowboys. I’m more interested in who they hire as the DC. We need a new defensive philosophy more than we need a major change in Offense.
  18. Just came here to say ***** the Chiefs… so much for parity. The league is once again dominated by one team.
  19. Thats kinda like acknowledging water is wet. The defense did absolutely nothing against KC. To be fair, he should’ve said, “the defense sucked balls against KC and we’re going to look at a new DC that can run different schemes because this revolutionary McD defense has gotten us booted from the playoffs for 4 consecutive years.” it just sucks that after 6 years And desperately needing offensive weapons and a new center in the draft… It feels like we need to draft/sign players at every position on defense. Thats how bad they were.
  20. As I lay in bed after a crappy night’s sleep thinking to myself ..why do I keep doing this? I genuinely thought we could win yesterday. But with that thought also came my thoughts of… I knew we needed to score a TD before the half. Because Andy Reid was going to make adjustments and we wouldn’t. So we needed at least a 2 score lead to have a chance. And secondly, I know the FG try was technically the right call under 2mins. But there’s not a fan among us that truly thinks we could have held KC with that much time on the clock. We needed to go for the TD, regardless, just to give ourselves a chance. So, with all that said, there’s no way we should just walk back the same team and staff next year. It’s been too long and we’ve seen the same mistakes over and over. I’m not necessarily advocating for a 100% dismantling. But we need, at a minimum, new OC, DC and Special Teams coach. Other than Shakir, all new WRs. A RB that can catch. A new center, maybe RT. On Defense, we need several new DL, at least half of them need to go. We have Oliver, Jones, and Epeneza and Rousseau. ? That’s about it. All new secondary, and better LB depth incase Milano doesn’t return to form. So what’s that.. a 70% rebuild? It needs to be significant. I know they can’t do that all in one year… but maybe? I’d start with the coaches and go from there. Yeah next season we suck… but the results will be the same… watching Mahomes and whoever else run all over is the playoffs really isn’t that much fun.
  21. And that’s it…. Every team in the league has WRs that can catch those passes, the Bills do not. Heck even that MVS dude with KC made an awesome over the shoulder catch downfield while being blanketed by Taron… and all I’ve heard about that dude is how bad he sucks.
  22. IMO, this sums it all up. The Bills do not have any playmakers. When needed most, everyone not named Allen or Shakir came up small. We just don’t have any WR that can catch a contested ball. We don’t have a defensive line that can generate any pressure. Cook for all his ability, just came up small. Another year ends the same as the last 4. Why? The Bills coaches can’t make adjustments and get out schemed. And we don’t have players that can overcome that and just make a play when it’s needed most.
  23. Completely disagree. You do all the runs and short stuff….to set up those down field plays. It worked perfectly! And Josh made perfect throws .. and Sherfield, Diggs, and cook dropped them. Again!
  24. I’d settle for a WR that can actually catch the *****in ball that hits him in the *****in hands! ***** separation… these guys can’t catch
  25. I just came here to say…. Beane better get some damn receivers that catch the *****in ball when it’s lands perfectly in both their *****in hands. I am so *****in sick of seeing the opposition make perfect *****in receptions with perfect *****in coverage… and our receivers drop ***** that literally hits both of their *****in hands. And cut Bass. Wtf.
