With a second round scramble to jockey into a position to select a quarterback, only Jacksonville can say we got our man. Rumors of the Jets trading up run rampant and now everyone will settle on what is available to them or lose picks in an attempt to move up. SCREW the draft gurus, we got OUR MAN and picks. For once I am almost at peace with those in the front office. We'll see by the end of the day who else was on the radar. I like the bold swing for the fences approach and if this is the draft, I think this attitude will carry over into the season. And I LOVE that attitude. Go BIG or go home. No more tentative adjustments, vanilla game plans, reactive moves to what someone else does to them. The Bills WIILL SET the tone and dictate THEIR GAMEPLAN. And I'm at peace with that, WIN or LOSE. If you lose and left your balls on the field there is no shame. Losing tentative is what bothers me. We will not lose tentative this year and THAT is what earns my money and support. You rock buddy. Thanks for keeping this site up. I visit daily for years and live in Los Angeles. You keep me connect to the Bills like no other. I imagined the brute force of rabid Bills fans from all over the world rocking out the system when the 16th pick was called. I for one, am happy with it. Screw the ESPN gurus, Manuel was my pick and I'm glad the Bills saw it too. He will be a very good to great quarterback and I can't wait to see what he does. To TWOBILLSDRIVE, long live the BILLS!!! Let's rock out Day 2. -- Ertz, Minter, Hunter, Allen-- grab two and pick up a G in round 3 unless they see someone who can replace Levitre and are willing to bet skill players on it.

Sad but true. Eternal optimism reigns, then the fun of finding the hidden Gem UDFA's, hoping we struck gold somewhere, the hype lasts into the summer, then I lie to myself and say "preseason doesn't count." They look bad but they're playing vanilla, not letting anyone see the scheme that will blow away our opponents in week 1. Then we lose week one and think, maybe we can pull it together. By week three anger sets in, week six sickness, week ten apathy, weeks 11-16 melancholy followed with finding what other teams may be worth rooting for so I can enjoy some football and then the cycle repeats 13x.

This is VERY good. Dansby can play and will not be caught out of position like Shep. One less hole to fill this weekend. If we sign Dansby, I'm thinking Marrone and Hackett will be given some reign to draft their toys and build an offense with. I'd love to be a fly on the wall for the QB discussions. I don't know a lot about Matt Scott but he looks like a beast. Very Kaep like, but maybe not built for what we want to do on offense. I'm thinking Nassib or Barkley fit the mold with Bray as a safety valve in case they don't draft a QB in round 1.

I could live with this, but Woods may be gone by the 2nd and Jones may be gone by the 3rd. If they fall to us, lap them up.

...You never know WTF the Bills brass is thinking. I remember watching and hearing the BILLS have TRADED UP and I thought YES!! YES!! We are going to take Russel Wilson. He won't last to the 4th where the Bills want him so we are getting him now!! Great move..... then...... silence.... and with their pick in the 3rd round the Buffalo Bills select... WR T.J. Graham. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! I had to look up stats and ranking for this no name unheard of speedster and saw him as the 34th ranked receiver. Maybe the Bills know something, I tried to convince myself. Maybe they'll still get Wilson BUT NO! GOD NO! They did it again. And we all know how that played out. Which is why something tells me they will do it THIS YEAR TOO! Some head scratching boneheaded pick that Whitner's my ass into a Maybin frenzy. I just don't trust them to get it right. So the question is? What dumbs, head scratching, rip your eyeballs out move do you think they will pull this year or does Marrone have enough sense and insight and power to guide the ship off the damn iceberg for once? My guess. Buddy goes down with the ship guiding us to pick #8--- Matt Barkley, sunshine boy USC, RJ#2 can't slice it through the cold winds. I really like EJ Manuel but don't know if he plays good in the cold. Nassib seems like the only logical choice to fit what we do in the environment we do it in. But who follows logic at OBD.

The Bills have a strange way of taking your enthusiasm and slowly drowning it in Lake Erie as each week progresses. We start pre-season as 9 or 10 and by the time week one rolls around were down to 8, week 2= 7. If we get lucky like the Fitz Blitz of 2011 we may stay high until week 7 or 8, then comes a bigger crash. This year I start at a 3 and hopefully see a team with heart, enthusiasm and character that never quits and fights for their coach and each other. If they grow into a winner quicker than expected YES! If they suck, they better do it scrapping and pissed off. As mad about losing as WE THE FANS ARE, then turn that **** around and WIN!!!

This doesn't bother me that much. A few years ago he looked really good in Philly. Hope he isn't a Trent double and never come back right after the injuries. If healthy, he could do some good things in a Bills uniform. But I'd still pull the trigger on Geno/Barkley RD1, Manuel, Nassib Bray, RD 2 or Glennon, Scott, Dysert in Rd3 if available. Would rather wait to RD 2 and grab a stud LB in Rd1.

Wow. My disappointment with both runs DEEEEEEEEEP! I thought the Sabres would be competitive and playoff bound, at worst a 6-8 seed. They are unwatchable and when I do watch them choke off 2 goal leads in the third period, I need to hit the gym to chill out after. The Bills, meanwhile just rip your heart out with their mistakes and this off-season brings very little hope for the season. It's on the coaches. If they miraculously pull these teams together, I'd be ecstatic, but as a life-long Buffalo fan, I've learned to suffer with them, even though I left town 30 years ago, I still hang on to these teams like family..... How pathetic is that!
