Now let's seal the deal: Fix the O-line!
Cold Front replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would rather see them sign Clint Boling and put him at left guard and let RI, Urbik battle it out on the right. As bad as this unit preformed the last 2 years, it should improve with an nfl caliber coaching staff in place. As recently as 2012 this unit was considered a strength. Thankfully the quitter and his hack are gone. http://youtu.be/vcvou0SAxZI found this from 2012 http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2012/9/18/3351450/buffalo-bills-offensive-line-cordy-glenn -
Vince Wilfork is available (update - goes to Texans)
Cold Front replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For what he would likely demand i'd rather have Dan Williams. The more reasonable option is Kenrick Ellis (age 27 6'4" 346 lbs.) and a true 3-4 Nt. -
Your next Bills QB will be...the Sanchise.
Cold Front replied to ChanOverChin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mark Sanchez career cmp% 56.3 yds 14,510 td 82 int 80 fumbles 21 rating 74.1 < Jason Campbell career cmp % 60.3 yds 16,771 td 87 int 60 fumbles 14 rating 81.7 Of the Qbs who are actually available, not hypothetically via trade, Campbell is the best choice in F.A. as of now to come in and compete with Ej and who ever the Bills take in the draft to be our starting Qb. With the (ground and pound) we need someone reliable to hand the ball off and be able to stretch defenses vertically over the top. Sanchez is a turnover machine. -

Dareus to not get extension....yet
Cold Front replied to BeastMode54's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think its a wise move. Let him make it through the off season w/o getting into trouble and try to sign him to an extension later in the season. If he refuses franchise him. -
They should give Hughes an extension, franchise Darius (too much of an off season risk to hand a large extension to now), and let C.J. walk.

Buddy Nix is deservedly back in his comfort zone scouting talent. He was in over his head as a GM. People seem to forget he was a bill's scout from 93 thru 2000, and with the chargers from 2000 thru 08 before rejoining th bill's. Buddy Nix is deservedly back in his comfort zone scouting talent. In light of today's playoff expansion talk It seems to me the largest problem with playoff seeding is the lack of importance of winning a division. Under the current format it is possible for a team to sweep their division opponents while also loosing their division I.E 6-10 It still makes more sense for the league to realign while trying to retain some AFL - NFL history. I would like to see 2 conferences with 16 teams with two 8 team divisions. Each team would play each member of their division twice (14 games) plus one additional in conference and on opposing conference game. This would allow for the four division winners to have a first round bye, and include each divisions two and three seed. In the event of a tie use current tie breaker rules. American Football Conference East West Bills Bengals Browns Broncos Dolphins Chargers Jaguars Chiefs Jets Colts Patriots Raiders Ravens Titans Steelers Texans National Football Conference East West Bucs Bears Cowboys Cardinals Eagles 49ers Falcons Lions Giants Packers Panthers Rams Skins Seahawks Saints Vikings I would personally swap the Cowboys and Rams (Due to geography) but we all know Jerry Jones would cry.

Stevie Johnson: Pats can't 'stop me'
Cold Front replied to Stevie's Johns0n's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like it... hopefully the cheatriots D is keyed up to stop him that they burned by spiller , or it causes a few pass-interference flags to be thrown there way. -
Not a state employee. Just a chemical reactor operator for a local plant, and member of USW. I usually try to set myself up for call in's. 3 hrs call in pay plus 8hrs ot then work my scheduled shift afterwards.

Russ you are correct, and no sorry i was wrong. After a 16 hr double my math was hazy. I calculated the average # of drops per supposedly "catchable balls." Which would be an actual drop rate and not a percentage.

Yes AP had 348 attempts last year so he averaged 21.75 attempts per game. -

96 bills starting wr's A.Reed and Q. Early. E moulds was the slot man until he was eventually benched in favor of tasker. Your the one that said stevie lacks speed. I merely pointed out the best wr to ever play the game was slower. How can you blame stevie for the lack of + 20 yard catches. He's had capt.check down, and the bearded potato cannon as qb. With the lack of Qb who could throw deep with any kind of velosity and accuracy, those 3 1,000 yard seasons are amazing. last year 1 or 2 deep passes wow. I never brought up Lee Evans, all he could do was run go routes. He also had qb's who could throw them. So yes while he was our #1, he lacked a complete game. Leading a team in reception's dosen't automatically make you a #1 wr, its takes leadership, ability, as well as production. Stevie has those 3 qualities. As for your prediction lmao. if stevie isn't here in 2 years it will be in a cost saving move because russ is cheap, and woods or someone stepped up and made him expendable. But Stevie would still be a #1 wr just on a different team. Now you are enlightened
-
You should consider changing your name to confounder since you have not demonstrated the ability to enlighten. Stevie is the #1 reciever on this team - barring injury or trade until proven otherwise. In coach Hacketts offense the recievers are asked to know all of the WR positions in order to Attack the defense and exploit mismatches. You would have an argument if on Sept. 8th the offense lined up in a pro set and Stevie was on the bench (uninjured). But since it's TRAINING CAMP... a little practice, whether it's at x, y,or z is to be expected. Your link is worthless- stevie dropped the ball less than some elite wr's, and all of them had better QB's than stevie. stevie had a faster 40 time 4.59 than Jerry Rice 4.71 guess he wasn't a #1 wr. And to answer your question yes Reed, Moulds, lined up in the slot during their careers. FWIW in the past the cheatriots have lined up in a pro set with welker on the outside.
-
NFL.com reports he passed his physical with the Bills before being released...The Cheatriots will likely sign him to the vet minimum, absorb as much intel on our offence and defence and cut him late into preseason.

Chuck Norris died 20 years ago, death just hasn't built up the courage to tell him yet. Chuck Norris will never have a heart attack. His heart isn't nearly foolish enough to attack him. Jesus can walk on water. Chuck Norris can swim through land. Chuck Norris and Justin Bieber once had a singing contest, the loser had to never hit puberty. Tebow fans are the NFL equivilant of Beiber fans.

What coach does Marrone remind you of?
Cold Front replied to Over 29 years of fanhood's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He reminds me of a young Bill Parcells, i hope his career is as long and productive. -
Marcel/Kyle rated #2 DT tandem in the league
Cold Front replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think KW is vastly overrated, he is a good pass rusher but a liability vs the run. Since KW has been drafted the bills have finished no better than 22nd vs the run in 2008. 2012 - 31st 2011 - 28th 2010 - 32nd 2009 - 30th 2008 - 22nd 2007 - 25th 2006 - 28th The last year the Bills had a good defense was 2004, they finished 7th vs the run. The Bills ran starting Mlb London Fletcher out of town after the 06' season due to the failure of the run D. Fwiw it was Londons only season playing behind KW. -
Who would you place at all time best LB?
Cold Front replied to Jim in Anchorage's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ray Lewis inside, Lawrence Taylor outside.
