  1. Ya I agree 8-8 isn't great but its' better then the last couple years, the main thing I was saying is I do not want any team to tank there season on purpose, we had a top 3 pick not too long ago Dareus I think the majority of the Bills flaws have nothing to do with the draft order but more who they have drafted. Buddy has reached for players when there are better players still available. I also do not predict my team is going to be 2 or 3 wins for the entire season when it's only April, really? The final 53 roster isn't close to being set yet. Nobody win's or loses games in March
  2. I don't think he has been the same since that hit in the playoffs I think it was VS the steelers and he had surgery on it. Also getting up there in age, so no no no no
  3. I do not care what his sexuality is, as long as he can play football!!! Anything other then that is none of my Beeswax
  4. Who knows if him being released is actually true or not, as soon as a report came out he might be released it was then discounted by browns staff who were leeaning towards a trade or to have him with the QB battle. here is the link to Colt Mccoy not being released http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000154480/article/colt-mccoy-wont-be-cut-by-cleveland-browns-for-now
  5. I have always hated the Dolphins now i can laugh at them and hate them at the same time
  6. Is he any better then T Jax or someone we draft is he worth giving up a high draft pick? Maybe he is due to the way the Bills have drafted of late, but I still think the price is to high the seahawks want a high draft pick his salary 7 million and the fact that he is unproven not sure I want to give a high pick for him
  7. I hate when teams tank their year, perhaps 3/4 thru the season when you know if your going to be in the playoffs or not. The Bills have had 21 winning seasons in franchise history. Yes next years draft is better, but being a Bills fan I would love to see some kind of improvement. I'm a realist it will be tough but I would love an 8-8 season to start things off. Everyone talks about the 13 years we have missed the playoffs and I understand that but besides the 90's and the two AFL championships this has been a losing franchise for a long time, I don't want them to tank I appreciate every winning season this franchise can accomplish I have not witnessed enough in my life.
  8. I think it will cost the Bills far too much from everything reported the Seahawks want a high pick for him the Bills already only have 6 picks and I doubt they would give up a high pick for an unproven player who turns 28
  9. I live in a city where the Hockey team is awful and has been for years, the have a rich history of winning championships but because they are terrible noone wants to sign here, it is cold, 8 months of the year. We get awesome winter temps of -35 -40 quite often.. the times they have lured the big Free agent here it has been because they have vastly overpaid for one. This FA season there have been a few quotes by players that the Bills did offer them a contract they just picked the other team, due to $$$ location etc.. most players most likely don't want to play for a losing team, we will have to build through the draft and try to lure lower FA till fill the holes. This situation sucks but it is the one the Bills are in. If the Bills can somehow mange to turn this around for a couple seasons players will want to play here again, or at least we will be able to compete and not vastly overpay to get players to play here. In the NHL the Calgary flames were just as bad as the Edmonton Oilers noone wanted to play there, they were terrible. They made it to the finals one year the playoffs the next year, and now the get some good FA to come there... I think because Buffalo is cold, hey it's not NY, It's not Florida or Cali plus combined with the losing seasons and you have a place noone really wants to go.. Before people go off and think I don't like the city of Buffalo, as I have seen people get quite personal on here, my Grandfather Aunt MOM and relatives were all born right outside Buffalo in cherry creek ny I love the area and I love my Bills, the best time of my life were watching or going to Bills games with my grandfather.
  10. Meh this just shows me the national media have not changed when it comes to the Bills, we are only news if we put on a massive winning streak or to be made fun of. I don't really care just reminds me why I have a hate on for a majority of the Media..
  11. I think I am one of the few that is quite content that so far there has not been any big FA signing's by the Bills We vastly over paid for Mario last year, b4 and supermario fans jump on my head for saying that, I do like the guy. Most of the teams that have signed players have vastly overpaid for them. Also the Bills have tried to sign a few guys but the picked other teams instead, most players do not want to go to a team that has such a long playoff drought. I also think it's still quite early to panic like some people have it's only April, heck it's not even April quite yet.
  12. I would love to see the BIll's play in the season opener, but alas the NFL likes $$$ ratings our money and putting the BIlls in the season opener would kill rating's except in western NY and the few spots like in our family peeps would be watching.
  13. According to the expert scouts Ryan Leaf talent now those same scouts say no QB has first round talent ..hmmm who do I believe

  14. Not that I am saying there is a tom brady hidden in this draft but he wasn't worth a 1st or a second or a third etc etc, Mr. Wilson of the Seahawks did not have first round talent according to all the scouts yet he played pretty good. I think when Scouting a QB, their is so many other factors, schemes mentality, coaching development. Ryan Leaf had 1st round talent, so did many other draft busts But the Bills will have to take a chance on someone and say this is the guy, and it will be in the first round..
  15. I totally agree with this, you look at the majority of teams that are winning, they have a stable coaching staff, stable schemes so they can develop there players. Yes we need to draft a franchise QB but without having these other things our players will not succeed
  16. I would take EJ as well at 8 before Geno personal preference, after watching as many football games as possible NFL NCAA heck I even watch the CFL.....sssh I watched the XFL...and the WFL.... for me EJ beats out Geno not from bowl games but from all the games I watched.
  17. I'm still not sold on Geno but if the Bills are then they should grab him, thats why they are the GM's and scouts and "I am not. . Nix usually won't give up many draft picks. Although I admit I am an armchair GM there is a reason they are in their position and I am not.
  18. I'm not putting him down, just stating a fact, don't mind most of the QB's in the draft..I just don't think he will be available. I think after watching all his games this year I can at least mention something I am concerned about . He is a far better QB then I will ever be..lol even at Madden and it gets pretty windy in Buffalo especially in that stadium.
  19. But what will they trade, they only have 6 picks. I really don't want to see us lose another player on the roster. I agree if they want him go get him but for what?
  20. I am not sure if I can get excited about this as I think he will gone before 8, plus he played really bad in cold weather during the Bowl game.
  21. My heart has to say the Bills, although watching them lose 4 in a row nearly killed me. At least we have been to a superbowl... but the browns have won NFL championships before the merger... and have a new owner a younger smarter stronger owner or maybe not because the jury is still out on the new guy. But if we count the Browns Nfl championships we should count the two AFL championships before the merger and they were back to back.
  22. 2 feet of snow landed in Edmonton yesterday spring in Canada

  23. I think the Bill's need to draft a franchise QB, but after you draft there is far more to that, you have to develop them. The Bills in the recent years have not hired true head coaches, they have hired offensive C defensive C but not a lot of coach's who had Head coaching material. We can not keep changing our system every 3 years and expect the Bill's players to develop properly, especially when it comes to QB's, I truly want and hope Doug Marone is the right hire so we can keep the same scheme for quite some time and start developing our players instead of hurting them.
  24. I agree teams QB is the most reached and over drafted position in the draft.3 QB's will be drafted, the Jags might even draft a QB if they can finally admit Blaine Gabbert is a bust, and the Bills will draft a QB at number 8, because you might lose the guy you want to draft if you wait for it. Yes it will be a reach to draft a QB so high but they pretty much have to.
  25. The QB postion if you look at it during the history of the draft teams have reached for them because it is a vital position. I do not have much faith in Nix and still think he will reach for a QB. and if you lookat my post I did not say they would draft one at 8. Just in the first round, but if I am wrong and I hope I am because the majority of QBs I think drafting in the first round is a reach, I will gladly kiss my cats behind. I think Geno Smith will be gone before 8 and he is still a reach b4 pick 10
