Josh Allen: Contract extended through 2028
Pabstblueribbon replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Greg Roman. Colin Kaepernick - Superbowl appearance Tyrod Taylor - Pro-bowl selection Lamar Jackson - League MVP LJ is IMO undeniably the most athletic of the group, but they all fit the same mold that works out well in Roman's scheme. The problem with 1 dimensional qbs like that, once teams "figure them out", its all over. A lethal pocket passer who also has mobility, that can hit anywhere on the field like Rogers JA and Mahomes are much more desirable in the modern NFL. -
Slot Recievers - McKenzie / Cole

Yes, agreed. On top of that CB is a McBean acquisition, Shady came in under the old leadership. It would be absolutely foolish IMO to cut that guy coming off the season he and Josh had. We need all the firepower we can hang on to. -
I remember watching a certain Bills vs Patriots game where Knox made an absolutely ridiculous catch with Patrick Chung draped all over him. It was a remarkable catch for any reciever, let alone a TE.. then I flash back to so many "easy" passes literally bouncing off his hands. I dont know what to make of it all.

Sure! #1: its been well documented that in our state (NY), the Supreme Leader (the governor) defied all common sense and reason by ordering nursing homes to take in patients that were tested and confirmed positive for Covid-19. I bring this up because its an example of a case in which 99.9% of objective people would look at this and say "that's dumb". Similarly to the current state of affairs in which you have a governing body making idiotic decrees that defy all common sense with respect to a group of people whos job is to smash themselves up #2. " Per the memo, any player who is not fully vaccinated will continue to be subject to: Daily testing, mask wearing (including in the team facility) and physical distancing A quarantine if he has a high-risk exposure to someone with COVID-19 Significant restrictions when traveling, including required isolation in the team hotel and relegation to a separate team plane" . Am I misinterpreting what "required isolation in the team hotel" means?

Okay, now do all residents of the skilled nursing facilities in NY that died unnecessarily because someone threw all common sense out the window and decided that the correct course of action was to force those facilities into taking in and cross contaminating covid positive patients with the general population. The point is, there is a level of abject stupidity that defies common sense at play here. Ie "you must lock yourself in your room without visitors so you don't get sick inorder to destroy yourself out on the field on prime-time tv." They are creating a caste system and punishing anyone who dares to go against it.

Do we believe that allowing the unvaccinated to stray from their hotel room constitutes more or less of a risk to the collective group of players than say.. tacking on an additional 17th game of high speed collisions seemingly for the sole purpose of generating additional revenue from spectators of the aforementioned collisions? 🧐

I'm with Cole on this. The guy has been an absolute warrior and will likely live out the rest of his days in chronic pain as a consequence of making the conscious decision to play a violent game. To me this is no different. At this point the vaccine is so prevalent that anyone who's at risk and doesn't have it has made the decision and is willing to risk the consequences. At this stage, the whole "You're not allowed to leave your room" thing is insanity.

Bills sign Mitch Trubisky, QB.

I think we've reached the point where we are actually sought after! -
Upstate NY technically refers to the region surrounding NYC where many people fleeing the hustle and bustle relocated to while still maintaining their jobs in the city. Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, possibly as far up as Orange are considered "Upstate". Beyond that you have other regions - Captial Region, Catskills, Adirondacks, Southern Tier, Western NY etc etc.
